Peaceful Stay by the Ocean

Beautiful condo with all the amenities located right on the ocean. Well maintained and very clean. Hosts were very helpful and responded immediately to our questions.

Aloha Condo

Gorgeous, waterfront, unobstructed view. Beautiful art, decor. Extremely clean and quiet. The kitchen has everything you need inc paper products, soaps, spices, etc. Everything you may need for the beach was included. Snorkel gear, beach chairs, cooler, etc. The lanai even has a built in bar inc refrigerator. This condo is the perfect location for North or South exploring. We all felt blessed the owners shared their condo with us. Highly recommend!!!

Beautiful condo!

We really enjoyed our stay. The view was beautiful and the grounds were very well maintained. The condo was very spacious with 2 bathrooms and enough living space for my family of four. We really appreciated all the beach supplies-chairs, umbrellas, floats, snorkeling supplies and a cooler. We would definitely return.

August getaway

Property is well appointed and comfortable. Expect some noise from upstairs since the apartment is down below but all in all a lovely stay with fabulous views and very nice grounds.

Beautiful ocean view

Wonderful ocean front location. We found the condo to be spacious. Comfortable furniture and beds with great shower for evening relaxation after a day's activities. Beautiful decorations. Condo grounds are lovely and location is very convenient to restaurants and stores.

Kanaloa With a Feather Boa!

As close to a perfect stay on the island as you can get! Best view from the lanai in the whole complex, comfy beds, and super responsive and friendly personal management. Everything worked and the place was well stocked with everything you could need. Would love to stay here again in the future!

Wonderful condo

Our stay was awesome! The condo is a few feet from the water and it was great to hear the waves against the shore. The furnishings and amenities were very food. And lastly, thee property manager Tara was very responsive to a couple of minor issues we noted, and they were resolved promptly. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Kona Coast Condo

Could not have asked for a better condo for our family of four (two kids under 10). The location was convenient to the water, shopping and dining options, and golf. Walking out onto the lanai and looking out into the Pacific every morning was the highlight. The Kanaloa at Kona complex has three pools, including one with a beautiful ocean view. The condo was well-apportioned with all of the necessities and there is also a closet full of beach equipment and toys. Would highly recommend and love to stay here again!

It’s all about location!

We’ve stayed at Kanaloa at Kona many times, although not in this unit. The u it itself is very nice, but the location right on the water makes it perfect and if it were available, we’d be back in December.

Great location and Everything we expected and more

The Kanaloa at Kona condo complex is a picture worth seeing. The grounds are beautiful and the views will take your breath away. We were more than happy with the unit that we were in and the condo description was spot on. A perfect five nights of relaxation and fun. I would highly recommend this unit to everyone and anyone.

Lovely condo right on the water with great sunsets

My husband and I go to one of the Hawaiian Islands every year for my birthday. This year it was The Big Island, and Kanaloa at Kona was the place we stayed. We have stayed there a total of 4 times in the past, so we knew how nice the condo complex was. We picked 1801 this time because it looked exactly right for us, and it was. We had a good time and plan to come back.

Fantastic Family Vacation

Everything about this property was great. We loved the apartment as it was fully stocked with everything we could ever need. The oven wasn't working at the time, but who bakes while on vacation?! Lots of extra towels, blankets, sheets, kitchen supplies and beach supplies. The closets were stocked with anything we could have needed. Also loved the three pools to choose from at the property. A different vibe at each one, and none was every too crowded. Highly recommend this property for a family vacation!

Condo 1801

We loved the condo. It well furnished and had everything you could think of including great views of the ocean from the Lanai and the living/dining room areas. It was well decorated. We loved the art work. If we had any suggestions, we would recommend the cabinets in the kitchen and bathrooms be replaced soon and that the vegetation in front of the Lanai be pruned. We would rent it again.

Amazing sounds and views of waves

This place is amazing! Great for families. The two bedrooms are next to each other which I preferred having a young child with us in the other room. Spacious! Well stocked. Clean. The lanai and view are amazing and relaxing. Pools and community were nice too. Only negatives would say the security is strict with the pool areas asking kids to keep voices down, even when its not "quiet hours" and you are on the first floor and might have some heavy feet above you (we did for only half the stay but was tolerable). Loved the unit will 100% come back and next time stay longer.

Great oceanfront views to wake up to and watch the sunset

Our stay at Condo 1801 was an enjoyable and relaxing stay. The ocean views are amazing, and being able to see the sunset every night was very memorable. At night, we could hear the waves crashing on the rocks very clearly. The condo was clean, instructions to get in was clear, and we had no issues getting in and out. The inside of the condo was generally darker than expected due to being on the south side and first floor. We will definitely consider this unit again when visiting Kona and the Big Island in the future. Thank you for having us.

Heaven on Earth

Starting every morning with a fresh cup of Kona Coffee overlooking the ocean watching the waves crash against the rocks was amazing. We enjoyed the mongooses and Neighborhood family of wild Turkey's that came out to greet our car as we would come and go. We planned activities every other day so we could relax and enjoy the condo and the beauty surrounding it. We even used the very nice stainless steel grill close to the condo unit. management was very helpful and friendly, guard at gate was friendly too. Condo was well appointed with kitchen supplies and the snorkel gear, beach chairs, beach towels where all very handy. We even used the blankets to keep warm on Mauna Kea as we did not pack jackets and it was 50 degrees up there for star gazing, which was unreal ! 10 out of 10 for best vacation ever. Thank you

Excellent location in a lovely complex

We enjoyed our second stay at this wonderfully-located condo in the Kanaloa complex. The prime ocean front location is unequaled in this slice of the island. In the morning, the ocean front location is ideal for watching whales, boats, kayakers, paddleboarders, and canoers; in the evening, the location is ideal for dinner on the lanai. The condo is comfortable, updated to contemporary standards, and private. The master bedroom and bathroom are spacious and remain cool (keep the shades drawn against the sun). A second couple shared the condo with us and were comfortable in the guest bedroom and guest bathroom as well. The kitchen is spacious and appliances worked well. Our only recommendation is to update/replace the cookware, especially the pots and pans. A set of well-designed, non-warping stainless steel cookware would definitely enhance food preparation.

Almost perfect

Lovely condo in a prime location on the Kona coast. Well cared for older complex, right on the ocean, and this condo has one of the best oceanfront locations. Very private with endless views into the vast blue ocean. We enjoyed watching whales and passing boats over coffee on the lanai. The condo has been updated to contemporary expectations. The master bath is especially spacious. All appliances worked well, including the AC, which we only needed in the afternoon. A pleasant breeze in the morning and evening kept the condo comfortable. We would have appreciated those little touches that would have made this feel top drawer, like a box of tissues in each bathroom and enough bath soap to avoid carrying the tiny bar provided between the shower and sink. Also, we have stayed at alohacondos condos for years, and always enjoyed a modest "welcome basket" from the owners. None was provided here. All very minor issues, which we addressed by a casual trip to the drugstore up the hill. We will return to this lovely condo; the location makes it a winner.
