1st Port A experience was great!

Beautiful place, but infested with fleas.

When we arrived the first thing my husband noticed was that something was biting him outside as we were unloading. We arrived after 9 PM so figured they were mosquitoes. As we walked inside we continued to get bit, couldn’t see what it was until we were getting ready for bed. Fleas, there were fleas everywhere. Every room if the house. We called management right away and we were told to go to a different unit. That unit was the same if not worse as it had a mildew smell but also had fleas. Management in the morning called and stated they would come spray the unit and reimburse us some money. Not sure if it was sprayed or not because that next night we continued to be but by fleas. The home itself was beautiful and spacey, clean. But the flea infestation was horrible! Some money being returned is not enough, should have been the entire thing. Or offered a stay at a later time when fleas have been cleared. Saturday night there was a rodent that was trying to come in as well, not sure what it was if a raccoon or opossum but it scratch all night, maybe that is where the fleas are coming from.

Beautiful Stay Excellent Location Very Comfortable

The location was beautiful, easy to access. Plenty of parking, privacy, and convenience for my entire family. Had a few hiccups with getting in but company overseeing the property was quick friendly and helpful. (Ty Alex) This home is absolutely gorgeous and provided plenty of room for 6! 3 adults and 3 littles. The sofa is different from the one in pics. But just as comfy and plenty of seating. If I had to pick one thing, My only recommendation would be for the cleaning crew to be a little more thorough for certain parts of the home that hadn’t been cleaned in a while (dusting, bbq pit, under sofa area) and to provide a trash bag for trash can on check in date. To clarify this is not addressing the common sanitary parts of the home…Kitchen bathrooms bedding etc were in pristine/ excellent condition. Fear not future renters, high traffic areas were cleaned properly. Washer and dryer units were a huge plus for me and they worked great. To be very honest with the people: I would 100% rent again for the property alone. We enjoyed it that much. I had learned from previous reviews to bring my own supplies for our own messes & dirty laundry and we brought three trash bags along, so we had no issues with clean up. But I would advise the same preparations : paper towels, trash bags, counter wipes, and laundry supplies if you plan on using them. I believe this is reasonable considering the amazing rate during the summer. Thank you so much for having us!

Pretty good with a few minor issues

Overall the house was pretty good! My only complaints were that there was an old fridge in the dining area that had a very rotten smell. The grill downstairs also did not work. The bathrooms were also not extremely clean and had an odd odor. The sheets had a few stains on them as well. I would give this house a 4/5

Beach House in Ocean Village

Good location to get to the beach with a golf cart. Home comfortable with well stocked kitchen. Good seating in kitchen and living area for our party of ten. Parking for 4 vehicles. Pool in the complex was very small, but we spent most of our time at the beach anyway. Overall it was a good property for our needs.

Great fun location.

It was 20 minutes to walk to the ocean and a really quick drive. The ping pong table got lots of use and we had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner with our kiddos!

Good stay for girls beach weekend

My friends and I enjoyed staying at this property. It is a good size and close to the beach. The outdoor grill and pool area was nice as well. My only feedback is that the property was poorly stocked with toilet paper, soap, dishsoap, laundry soap, and trashbags. We were out of everything after the first night because we were given such small amounts of each. Had to go to the store. But other than that it was a nice stay.

Family trip

The place was very spacious! Totally had a beach retreat feeling. The ping pong table was a hit! The only thing I didn’t like was the size of the community pool. It was a very small pool for the community. Other than that, it was a great stay. We enjoyed our time there. Great Location.

Fun atmosphere

Nice neighborhood, a little farther from the beach than expected. The walk was about 10-15minutes, So we ended up driving to the beach with all of our stuff. Lots of room in the house!

One last vacay

Checking in and out were super easy. We had 2 families stay here and had plenty of room and the place was stocked with what we needed including lots of extra towels which is always nice. I was impressed with the kitchen that had just about every utensil and tool you could beer and good quality too. This will be at the top of our list next time we go to Port A.

Family trip.

Overall our stay was decent. The location and appearance of the place is awesome. The floors are beautiful but a bit dirty. The washing machine didn’t work. The beds were very uncomfortable and very noisy. The sheets were very cheap and had hair on them. Some of the furniture was broken so I made sure to document that. Also it was pretty warm and pet the rules we weren’t able to cool it off any more. The pool is very small so don’t go for that amenity for sure. There is plenty of space for living and sleeping in the house. The ping pong table was awesome.

Great place to rent by the beach

Great place over all, very clean and loved all the space. It was a great hit with the husband, brother in laws and brother with all the games. The only things that we didn’t really like/ enjoy was that the pool was pretty small and with COVID couldn’t have more then 20+ people so it was always at its max. And the beds in the room made a lot of noise even to turn around. But overall everything was good and clean.
