Perfect getaway

Everything was exactly as it appeared in the photos. Check in was very smooth. House was stocked with extra household items. We had so much fun playing shuffleboard and hanging out downstairs. Hope to book this place again.

Fishing trip

First impression was great area etc. However , the plumbing seemed to be clogging alot, bed frame falling apart and alot of rust. I understand the salt water etc. But there was alot of close calls the nails on the wall. Overall it was a great place but the price was a little for for it.

First Time in Port a

Our kids and their cousins decided they wanted a quick trip to the beach. None of us had ever been to Port A so we decided to book a house there. A Shore Bet was a good size for our group of 9. Everyone had a bed and there was plenty of space in the living area and the kitchen. We liked the seating areas outside as well. The property is close to the beach as well. There were a couple of things cleanliness wise that we let the owner know about so she could talk to her housekeeping service about.

Meh

The air conditioning was AMAZING . That was the best part. It is dirty. Don’t take your shoes off. There are no games. One puzzle. Also, there are no closets. There may have been dressers and other rooms, but there was not one in our room.I thought there would be mosquitoes from the pond, but there wasn’t and that was also awesome. Lots of people fishing which was really fun to watch as well.Communication from management was spot on. I was very grateful to have her assistance.

Great Stay

The house layout was great for our family, everyone had plenty of space, the beds were comfortable and we loved playing shuffleboard and watching movies at night. The boys enjoyed the catch and release pond and caught several fish. The house is very close with easy access to the beach as well as anything in town. The host was great to work with and very responsive.

Great Place

The only thing that could have been better were the TV's in the bedroom, we could not get them to work. Everything else was awesome and everyone had a great time.

Wonderful extended weekend

The house has everything needed. Other than a slight issue with the refrigerator the property was fantastic. The owner was responsive, the amenities on the property allowed for a fun time while waiting for activities or food. The location is perfect located not far from food, entertainment, and the beach. Would recommend anyone to look into this property.

Fun week

The property was as shown in the photos. Great amount of space for the 6 of us. Super easy to get into town for meals, and the kitchen was well equiped. The complex pool is super small. The environment was family friendly.

Best weekend ever

Kristin has a gorgeous home, at a perfect location! I rented this house for a girls trip and it was the best weekend ever! They were so much space, and it was decorated so perfectly! We loved the downstairs patio that had a nice view. That location was perfect and it was not far from the beach at all. I would highly recommend staying here, and I will definitely be returning.

Family Summer Vacation

Condo was very nice and spacious. Kiddos loved the fooze ball and shuffle board table's and the outdoor TV. Outdoor shower was great after a trip to the beach. We wish the pool had been bigger, especially since all the condos in that community share that one pool, but all in all, it was very nice. We would rent again.

Port A stay

This was an amazing experience and we would definitely book it again! The location was amazing as we were close to the beach and the surrounding shopping stores. Great Quality Time in Port A

Family and I had a great time at this beautiful home. Close to beach, fishing, shopping. Wish we had more time to spend there. Home was very spacious and we had everything we needed. Host is exceptional, she answered all all our questions very promptly and was very accommodating. Only concern was the double bed in living room, seemed like it had not been cleaned from prior uses and not very comfy. Unfortunately, we were not able to use it. Either than that, it was a great home away from home! Highly recommend it!

A Shore Bet is definitely a sure bet!

Loved this house! The homeowner and property manager were so incredibly nice and quick to respond to any questions we had. There are 3 King beds which is unheard of with vacation rentals so that was great for our group. There aren't closets but they have hooks on the doors for you to hang your clothes. All of the little touches were provided. Great view and location. We will definitely rent again!

Great Spring Break

Our family loved A Shore Bet during Spring Break! The house was super clean and plenty of beds/bathrooms and lounge areas for our group of 7. (2 adults and 5 kids). The shuffleboard and and foosball were great fun also, especially in the evenings and cooler mornings. It was a great location in the neighborhood, facing the fishing pond. Very close to the beach, we drove our car but beach cart would have been great too! Kristin was a great hostess! We would definitely stay here again!

A Shore Bet

Great overall stay, the bedroom space, 3 bathrooms and layout were perfect for the 6 of us to stay comfortable for the week. The floors had barely been swept when we got there and there was no dust pan in the house so we had to go buy one to keep it tidy while we were there. The shuffle board and foosball table were great to have as well. Easy location to get around town or to the beach with a golf cart rental.

Unpaid review

The house was great for our whole family and had one of the better views from the back balcony onto the small private pond.Positives:Location, close the beach and on a small private street.4 bed, 3 bath and a large open living area with plenty of space for everyone to sit and relax whether on the couch, table, or on the balcony.Well lit and plenty of ceiling fans. Not dark and humid.Downstairs area is nicely shaded, has a couch, and we used the propane BBQ grill which worked great.Negatives:As soon as you walk in, you are greated with a musty mold smell. The smell is even worse in the downstairs bathroom. All of the doors have black mold spots on them. It seems like the entire first floor flooded at some point and was not properly restored. Either I got used to it after a few hours, or we aired out the house and it got better.Cleanliness: There was a half eaten bowl of popcorn on the kitchen cabinet shelf... As well as a beer can downstairs on the railing. I'm not sure how you miss those two things when cleaning the house, unless you didn't clean. The surfaces and beds were ok though. The hardwood floors were also dirty. Running a wet rag on the floor resulted in the rag turning black. Wear shoes here.Ice maker didn't work. We had to get ice from the gas station.Outdoor TV is totally broken.Bedroom TV's have Roku but you can't download Netflix without the owner's PIN. There is no cable TV so you are stuck watching COPS on Roku TV.Parking: There is only room for 3.

AC worked great! Kitchen had all the amenities needed. Porch lights were out but not really necessary to have on. The porch area and seating was perfect for sitting outside.

This house is the perfect location for a beach getaway. It’s very accommodating for a large family. It was clean and fully stocked. The owner is great with communication. I highly recommend it here.

It was nice. A couple of lights/fans did not work. The place does need new couches. They were not comfortable. The kiddosaand i like to snuggle watching movies. Other then that it was a beautiful place. Location was perfect.
