Al ingresar a la casa, se le da la bienvenida con un gran concepto abierto de sala / comedor / cocina, techos altos, pisos de tablones de vinilo y una cocina moderna con encimeras de cuarzo y electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable. ¡Disfrutarás de interminables horas con familiares y amigos reunidos alrededor de la gran mesa de comedor o descansando en la sala familiar! Smart TV de 50 "en la habitación familiar.

La espaciosa suite principal cuenta con una nueva y cómoda cama King con su propio acceso al patio y la piscina. Perfecto para su café de la mañana o disfrutar de una bebida fría después de un largo día al sol. El baño principal en suite tiene encimeras de cuarzo. The property and house are beautiful. We really enjoyed the pool and it was sparkling clean. We did use fans but we are used to having a colder house. We would definitely stay again.

Bass family vacation

This was our second stay at The Sand Dollar Home was very clean as always. Removing the sliding back door and replacing with regular door made a bid difference in the cooling of master bedroom. If home had a screened back porch it would be perfect. We are already booked for Labor Day 2025. Sunshine Vacation Rental is very easy to work with. Thanks for a great July 4th. Also the pool is great and very clean.

Family Fun

Nice house and accurate listing. Pool access from the house is through MBR which isn't bad if you have young kids. Quiet neighborhood with short drive and longish walk (especially in the summer) to the beach.

Can’t wait to come back!

This property was amazing! Definitely exceeded all expectations! Communication was excellent all questions were answered promptly. House was very roomy and nicely decorated. The beds were very comfy and they provided a lot of extra linens and towels. House was very clean! The backyard and pool was where we spent most of our time! Exceptional! Pool was clean and cold. Pool service came on Tuesday and Friday. The pool was my favorite part of the house! It was a good walk to the beach so we opted to drive which works out perfectly because the beach accesses were close. 10/10! Will definitely be back!

Sand dollar was a hit

Very clean , family oriented love the location and the pool was a big hit!! Extra nice having the Golf Cart! The owners were so nice . We couldn’t ask for a better stay than this.

Very relaxing!

My family and I had a great time during our stay! Our 6 year old twins really enjoyed the pool and the golf cart! They wanted to go EVERYWHERE in it! Also, great proximity to the beach and surrounding areas! We will definitely be back!

Overall very pleased

We really enjoyed the Sand Dollar. Was very clean house and yard and pool very nice and clean. A couple of issues we had were the very , very hard to open and close sliding glass doors in master bedroom. Also the AC couldn’t cool the master bedroom as it should and made for warm nights sleep. Overall house could be cooler. Also we understood we could park boat under shed but not the case.

Annual 4th of July Family Beach Trip

We loved staying at the Sandollar! I love the aground level, open floor plan, pool area, and especially having the enclosed fenced in backyard for our 2 pups! The only complaint we have is the side and across the street neighbors were a little rude, when we had a few local visitors that “parked on their grass” but other than that we loved our stay and may stay at this property again in the future!

Great Stay

We had a wonderful time at the Sand Dollar. House was clean, kitchen well equipped. We loved relaxing in the pool after a long day at the beach. Fantastic back yard that my pup loved. The house isn't walking distance to the beach, but we were well aware of that prior to booking, but the golf cart available is an amazing advantage. The only complaint, which really isn't a complaint against the property, were the beds were more firm than we like. If you prefer a softer sleep, I'd suggest a mattress topper.

Best Girls Weekend destination!

We were very happy with the house, pool and location. They were 6 women staying here for a long weekend “Girls” trip. We had enough room but with only 2 bathrooms we definitely had to do some coordination. The only a few things to mention to the owner. We had trouble with was the slider to the backyard and pool, it was hard to open and shut. Some of the patio furniture was beat up, a couple chairs and an umbrella were broken. Paper towels and the TP supply was a little light side, which we ending up buying additional and we had to unload a dishwasher upon arrival. Those are small things and everything else was perfect and we had such a great time! We would definitely stay here again!

House was very clean and well stocked with kitchen essentials. Some minor inconveniences included the dryer not working and the only entrance to the back yard being through the master bedroom. The sliding door was very hard to open and close. House could use some updating. Overall provided us a good place to stay.

Relaxing Vacation

The house was clean, bed was comfortable and it felt like home. We enjoyed the privacy of the pool and the location is very close to the beach. The fenced in backyard was good for our small dog.

Great Home for Family Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay at the Sand Dollar. The area is still recovering from the hurricane so there is not a lot to do in Mexico Beach which led to many trips to/from Port St. Joe. Ultimately, this is a great place if you're looking for a relaxing getaway without the large crowd.

Enjoyed Our Time

We really enjoyed our visit to the Sand Dollar House. It was clean and the kitchen, dining room and master bedroom were spacious and the kitchen had lots of extras that came in handy. The beds were quite comfortable and the bedsheets and pillows were great quality. A couple of things need some attention The pool doesn’t have a hand bar at all and the sliding door in the master that leads out to the pool and backyard is difficult to open and close . Be aware that although this is a rental, the owner has a boat in storage on the property which he assumes is not an issue when he or his friends decide to take it out. This happened with no phone call or warning whatsoever. It was an issue, seeing as I had a dog, and the gate was constantly opened. It was also a privacy concern with the swimming pool obviously being inside the backyard. This, however, was quickly resolved after calling the property management company.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Sand Dollar. Everything was stocked and ready to use in the kitchen. The house is bigger than you would think. We were close to the beach and everything in the area. We had a small issue with the go kart which was quickly remedied that day and the owners which live locally, were kind enough to allow us use of the go kart without cost for the remainder of trip for our troubles. if you’re looking for a great spot that is as advertised and operated by real people that care about the property and the people visiting the Sand Dollar will not disappoint. We would definitely return to stay at the Sand Dollar again.
