Loved the location.our villa was in need of a good cleaning. rugs were dirty.odd odor near head of bead in master bedroom. Br.s. need updated; tub faucet in master was extremely difficult to get on, even for my husband. hot water had strong sulfur odor; we had to turn on all faucets and run the hot water tank dry; this on our first night there!

The property is very spacious and well located. I wish there were more towels. I also felt that it was not as clean as I hoped. There was a spot on the comforter and the bathroom floor had to be redone. I also feel like the carpet had a musty odor.

Things weren’t working

The kitchen was not equipped well. Few glasses, no measuring. Cups for large measuring. There were dead Palmetto bugs in living room. No sheets for pull out couch and not enough towels. The internet did not work at all.

Great location, shabby unit

Wonderful location on the golf course and close to just about anything you want to do. The amount of space and layout of the unit was great. Decor is pretty dated, which isn't a big deal, but, unfortunately, it just felt dirty in there. The lighting was terrible (would be an easy fix) the rug was musty and dirty, and the kitchen was not well equipped. We had to wash dirty dishes before using, there wasn't nearly enough cutlery, glasses, bowls etc. The dryer did not work for the first 3 days, although a new washer and dryer was installed during our stay. Bathrooms are very shabby. Peeling paint, mildew in grout, rusty drains. King bedspread was stained. This unit has so much potential, needs a deep clean and some touchups/upgrades.

Love the location, but unit needs updates

We really like the location of this unit and the check-in team and staff we were in contact with were lovely. However, the unit itself needs some updating. Some things we liked: two twin beds in second room, overall layout is great, the view is gorgeous, quiet neighbors, cards/games/puzzles were a treat, and our kids loved eating at the barstools. Some feedback for consideration: the floors were filthy when we got there, the vacuum didn’t work, there was a hole in the ceiling of the second bathroom, the washer had some weird build-up and dryer lint catch is torn up, and the dishwasher door kept getting stuck. Also, the internet stopped working the second half of the week. I think the unit has a ton of potential and we enjoyed the activities and memories during this trip, but echo some earlier reviews that the unit could use some attention/upgrades.

Thank you for your feedback regarding Plantation Club 526. We are aware of the ceiling in the bathroom and it is scheduled to be repaired soon. The owner is also planning to renovate the bathrooms very soon as well. We apologize for the other issues you experienced during your stay. However, if you decide to stay with us again, we are able to resolve most of these issues you listed while you are staying with us. We have an in-house maintenance team that takes care of many repairs such as the internet issues or vaccum cleaners fixes and we have the ability to send the cleaners back if you feel the unit was not cleaned well. Please feel free to give us a call when you are staying in the unit as we are always willing to help resolve any issues at any time during guests stays. We will also make sure to check out these issues and repair them for future guests.

Needs work

When booking, we were not informed that we would not be able to use the heated pool within Sea Pines. When we checked in, the lady made a joke about how we would not be swimming this week as we only have access to our little pool that was very cold. That surprised me and my family. When renting this property, you are also unable to use the parking lot at the Sea Pines Beach Club. Both very disappointing. The unit was fine. As others mentioned, very dated. I wish the sheets and blankets and pillows were less than 40 years old. Pillows were smelled very bad and have heavy stains. We needed extra pillow case and there were none. If staying here, bring your own pillows and blankets and bath towels.

We are unsure why this guest thought they would have access to a heated pool in Sea Pines. The heated pool in Sea Pines is only available for Sea Pines property owners and they must pay an annual fee to use it. Also, guests are able to park at the Sea Pines Beach Club. However, there are a very limited number of spaces and Seashore Vacations is not responsible for the parking availability at the Beach Club. We also want to mention that if guests check-in and are not satisfied with the amount or quality of towels, linens, bedding, or the general clean at any of our properties; we encourage guests to call our office so we can send our cleaners back to address any issues.

A Great Location With a Substandard Condo

The location of Plantation Club 526 is excellent with ample parking and a third floor condo overlooking the golf course. The condo itself is past its shelf life and in need of a. major renovation. The shower in the master bathroom barely functions with both the shower head and the faucet defective. The condo was not thoroughly clean when we arrived. The Seashore Vacation staff responded quickly to a phone call and addressed the concern. They were also very helpful when we checked in and were in the office after 7:00 pm on that Saturday.

THE BIKE EQUIPMENT CO SENT MANY TEXTS SAYING HOPE YOU ENJOY EQUIPMENT BUT AFTER BRINGING TO THEIR ATTENTION ORDER WAS NOT AS EXPECTED THEY BECAME RUDE AND DIFFICULT TO WORK WITH. I would not recommend equipment company!!!

Great location!

We enjoyed our stay in 526 just recently. View is nice, location is spot on for biking, walking or driving to Harbour Town or the Beach Club. Unit was just as described. Our only suggestions would be to add ceiling fans in each room and add a topper to master bed which was fairly firm.

Perfect Location Close to the Beach!!

Reviewer Comments: This unit was not as updated as other units I’ve stayed at and could use some updates and minor repairs but overall a great place to stay because very central location to everything we needed or wanted to do on vacation. Close to the new Sea Pines Beach club and harbortown and not far at all from South Beach where the popular Salty Dog restaurant and gift shop is located. The only downside to this property is the small elevator you have to carry your luggage up and no carts for luggage.

It is situated at the 9th Tee on the golf course and backed against a beautiful view. A small elevator takes you to the 3rd floor where the condo is located. The property, itself, has no luggage carts so you take your belongings to the condo in shifts.

Hot and steamy retreat

We all thought the property was clean and true to the photos. I did not fully grasp it was a 3rd floor unit, but the stairs were accomodating and the elevator was availble- though slow and tight quarters. It felt more comfortable than a hotel room and gave us our own space- which is just what we were looking for.
