We loved the home! It added to the best family vacation ever! Porch sitting became the best part of our trip. It's nothing like catching up with family without TV's, cell phones or any other distraction. We will definitely be renting this home again!

Ohana, a dated property

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was very dated and needed several repairs (flooring, kitchen cabinets, running toilet) but was otherwise convenient to the beach and great for bringing dogs since it has a fenced yard. Adjacent properties were in really bad condition.

Ohana August 2026 stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Ohana fit our families needs. Having a fenced backyard and deck was great for our dog, the porch was very comfortable, especially the swing, This location was very convenient to the beach. Just two suggestions. I would add a full length mirror in the bedrooms and space in the kitchen for groceries if possibleOverall we really enjoyed our stay!

It is beautiful. Only 2-blocks from the beach. Dog friendly with fenced in backyard. Love the porch swing.

Great rental

Well stocked with pans, utensils,and coffee pot.

Reviewer Comments: We came second time to Garden city and we liked this place, very bright, clean enough( kitchen cabinets and shower I would clean better) but it’s no problem.. fenced yard for my dog is perfect, porch with curtains are very nice!! If I will come back I would like to stay here again!

Great Location and Back Yard

The location was perfect, only one block from the beach. The house was clean and well kept. Back yard was large and fenced in allowing our two Shetland Sheepdogs to exercise and roam off-leash. My wife and I have been looking for a house to use year after year and believe we have found it in this one.

Perfect vacation

My daughter and I had the best vacation ever in this house ! You can walk to the beach in 3 minutes and see the ocean from the front porch ! Very clean, decorated so so cute and comfortable. Neighbor across street was a sweetheart ! Neighborhood quiet except at night there were fireworks until almost midnight but most nights we really enjoyed that too and could see them from the front porch AND the living room bay window ! Can't wait to go again !!!

Excellent

Loved the porch and decking and you can see the water and feel a great breeze. Extra’s like the chairs and umbrella were nice. Didn’t cook so no dishwasher was not an issue. Dog friendly with fenced back yard and all hard floors (no carpet).

Great play area for the kids and no worry about doggie poop was all clean. Really nice home and would stay again!

Spring beach trip

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful time. The weather was great the beach was beautiful. The home is spacious and in a great location. The only problem I had was the dog hairs everywhere. That may not bother some people but if you have allergies to pet hair like I do I would not advise staying in this home.

The house was cute and we really enjoyed the front wrap around porch. The furniture was ok, and the kitchen was good, but small. The house could use more lighting. There were no lamps, so we had to use the overhead lighting. Our two small dogs enjoyed the backyard. Overall we had a good experience.

Love the area

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was a perfect spot especially the back yard for pups very clean outside. Enjoyed the porch to sit and watch so did our pup. Beach you could see the water from the deck. House was nice very convenient to water and stores. Friendly area.I would suggest having a mop there since floors get dirty from feet and sand. It would of been nice to have a blind or curtain on the picture window due to sun in afternoon. We will go agsin

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were excited about being able to go to Garden City Beach again after several yearsk but The grass was not cut all week so our small grandchildren could not enjoy the playset in the backyard for the mosquitoes and flies in the tall grass. The downstairs shower and toilet were nasty, we could not use it. We understood that there was not dishwasher which was not an issue but being a family that does not eat out every day was a problem because there were no large serving bowls (only cereal bowls) and no casserole dishes at all and one spatula. We had to go buy plastic bowls. The cable service was a nightmare, good luck to those who want to watch anything much. We did however like the distance to the beach. I don't think I could recommend this house to anyone but very small groups. We will not rent it again. I will say that Buddy Justice was a great help to us with what he could do. We went to Crabby Mikes and the Broadway one evening which was good.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved the new deck. Went from AC to heat and both worked great! Loved the new air filters; kept us from sneezing. My dog was able to get out of the yard, but I couldn't figure it out. She's only 15 pounds, so it was my fault. I had problems with the below survey. Wanted to pick 5 for all questions, but not sure if that is how it was recorded.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the new large couch in the main area. We still cover all the furniture with sheets so our furry friends can sit next to us. We're now bringing a folding table so we sit outside for a meal and games. My only mistake is picking our stay at the same time as bikers week. It's a bit too noisy for us :-)
