Great location! Great building! Def not the best unit we have stayed in at windy hill.Parking was easy and safeFound toys and crumbs on dirty living room furniture Beds were hard and uncomfortable … sheets were scratchy.1 roll of toilet paper, no coffee filters to get you going etc….Good unit but not great :)

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I can say it was clean. The pictures are a bit deceptive. The furniture is old, dated and worn. If you like to cook, bring your own cookware, crock pot, etc. The draperies need dry cleaned and the bathtub in the bathroom to the right needs a good cleaning, there’s mold around the back of it.The beds were comfortable enough. we enjoyed our stay regardless.

Wonderful stay in Windy Hill

Great beach front condo with amazing views and lovely decor. We enjoyed the lazy river, pool and hottub and the condo itself was perfect. Only tiny thing was the freezer wouldn't close but we removed the drawer inside and then it worked perfectly.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the second year we’ve come across country to visit relatives and stay in Myrtle Beach. This is the first time we have stayed in this unit. On the positive side, the pool/lazy river, beach proximity and view are terrific. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed in the condo itself. Fresh linens were provided but the unit was poorly cleaned. At the request of management, we provided a picture of the sand we swept up when we arrived. They volunteered to send someone to clean it but we had already mopped the night before. In addition to the sand, we were greeted by flies hovering over the kitchen drain. Not a good first impression. We also found the kitchen utensils tired and sparse. Other furnishings, such as window treatments could use replacement. Our biggest concern was the front door. The automatic closer appears to be broken and the very heavy door will slam with great force if a very strong adult does not held onto it tightly. Serious injury would occur should fingers, etc. be caught in the automatic slamming. We had our 3 year old grand-daughter with us and we always made a point to hold her when we entering or exiting the unit.I am not in the habit of leaving poor reviews but this unit needs some serious attention and the door is downright dangerous.. “Renovated” as stated in the add is disingenuous. As an interior designer for many years, I will agree the flooring has likely been updated in the last 5 years but that’s about it. I strongly question the honesty of the numerous 10 out of 10 ratings. When planning an expensive family vacation, everyone appreciates a truthful assessment.

Great beach stay

The condo is in an excellent location. We easily parked and got to the unit. We were greeted by a clean smell and an equally clean unit. The condo was perfect: size, location, clean and a great use of space. If we had any negative, it would be the hard mattresses and noisy ceiling fans. But that said, we will 100% be back and recommend it to others!

The unit was clean and well equipped. I would give the property's general condition 5 stars but the king bed in the master bedroom was not comfortable. I like a firm mattress but this was over the top. If the mattress would be replaced the stay would be perfect.

the lock on the door was hard to lock. didn't have any trash bags only what was in the trash container. didn't have cleaning supplies like dish soap.when travling and you take a plane you can't travel with these items.

Wonderful Vacation with Handicapped Mother

We were able to really enjoy ourselves in this property. The place was clean, nicely decorated and had ample room. It was really nice to bring my mother as well who is in a wheelchair/walker and have her be able to enjoy the beach as well. We will be back!

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Arrived to an uncleaned, filthy condo with several broken items and the king and queen beds very uncomfortable. We spent hours cleaning various items including all the dishes, flooring, and scrubbing a disgusting master bathroom shower. North Beach Vacation manager was informed of these problems including providing multiple pictures as proof. We requested a refund of the cleaning fee and compensation on the rental price. We received the cleaning fee refund but not the tax we paid on it and have had no positive outcome on any rental refund. Many pictures were provided to management as proof of the filth and disrepair.

Not what I expected for the $$$.

The unit was a disappointment to say the least . Not to mention North Beach Realty. The general space was just ok. Nothing special . Kitchen poorly equipped . Every single plate had chips on them ( unsanitary). Bedrooms were the worst . If you want comfort this is not the unit to stay in . Every mattress in the unit were those “ old” spring hard mattresses. The Queen bed squeaks if you barely turn . Linens poor quality . Do yourself a favor and take your own! :/ Not one piece of budget furniture was comfortable . It was dirty and stained . I would not ever recommend this unit to anyone looking for comfort. Although I realize everyone likes different types of mattresses just so you know, the beds are hard , old mattresses. Would not recommend. We left a day early due to the inability to get a good nights rest . The property in general is ok. Apparently this unit owner has another unit in the building . ****Renter beware and read all reviews prior to renting .

Great location/property; condo needs work

We have only stayed at a condo on this property twice. Here are the good things: The condo grounds are very well taken care of and are generally clean (although the breezeway seems to need to always have the doors fixed). Location is great and is a hop and a jump from essentially everything you need. The condo itself needs serious attention. I don’t believe things were throughly cleaned before we arrived (just a quick wipe down). Half pack of cigarettes found in one of the rooms; filthy windows (hand/face prints); the kitchen essentially lacks everything except plates and cups (cooking a meal would be a challenge w the pans available); appliances are out of date and on their last leg, with the exception of the fridge (but the fridge would randomly change temperatures and one of the shelves was broken); broken garbage disposal; one of the bathroom sinks was clogged; the pillows/bed linens need serious updating (couch pillows were better than those on the beds); filthy furniture (can see where dirty hands have been); filthy floor; washer and dryer on their last leg and left rust stains on lighter clothes; ceiling fans sound like their is a bearing going bad in 2 out of the 3. Property management was responsive when we told them of things that were broken, but (for example), some things can’t be fixed until after we leave. If you don’t care about these things, the location is worth it.

Beds and pillows were extremely old and uncomfortable

All of the pillows were very flat and uncomfortable. The beds were the same way, uncomfortable and it seemed like they were very old and worn and had not been replaced in a very long time.
