Family vacation favorite spot

This was our first time to Miramar Beach and this condo was the BEST location. It offered everything we wanted while being quiet and clean too. This is a definite repeat.

Amazing!

This spot was great! It had everything we could possibly need! The only draw back was the elevators. It could be a 30min wait for an elevator to get to the different floors. I’m good with stairs but by ailing mother in law was unable to use the stairs so we heavily relied on the elevator. Other than that, it was a perfect stay!

Great spot but unit in bad shape

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location is great. This specific unit needs a lot of love though. The paint is peeling and stained. The last time the flooring was replaced, they did a pitiful job and it makes the unit look bad. The living room furniture is old, stained and needs to be retired. We put towels over the couch because we didn’t want to sit directly on it! The bed mattress is either too old, or extremely cheap. The unit was decently clean, but the finishes are in such bad shape that it doesn’t feel clean.

Destin stay

The location was perfect. The condo smelled like fish when we entered it. We had to spray 2 cans of Lysol and open the patio door to eliminate the odor. The furniture was dirty and should be replaced. We covered it before sitting on it. I will definitely stay in Beachside 2 again but not this unit unless the furniture is updated.

Needs a remodel

Property is in a great location, but this particular property was advertised as 2 bed 2 bath and its 2 bed 1 bath. This unit is very outdated, and beds are very uncomfortable. The view is amazing but for the price we will stay elsewhere next time. Also, good luck remembering all the codes to get into garage, place, pool and beach.

Clean decor and perfect location!

This was even cuter in person than the photos. We had a great stay and loved everything about the space. Clean, beautiful views, great location, easy access to the beach and pool and parking! Will definitely book again!

Beach vaca

The location was amazing and the view from this unit was perfect. The unit had a strong mildew smell; it lessened as the days went by and a/c unit was on- thinking it had been closed up for a while. I had to keep my shoes on while there because the floors felt dirty. The unit was pretty well stocked in the kitchen, but you might want to bring some plastic containers of cooking while there..

Beautiful View!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was bright and cheerful and the view was amazing. There were some minor issues though. The down button for the elevator did not work on our floor so we had to ride up and then back down every time we used the elevator. We reported it the first day we arrived but it still wasn’t fixed when we left. The bathroom did not have a working lock on the door. The balcony door did not lock. Upon arrival my young daughter saw all kinds of wrappers and dirty socks under the bed so we had to throw those away. Overall, we loved the location and the view but probably won’t stay in this unit again.

Beautiful ocean views

Overall we had a good time and spent most of our time out of room. Room decor was beautiful! Nice to have the shuttle service and short walk to get Starbucks coffee in the Hilton next door. A few things could be improved- floors weren’t clean, ice maker didn’t work, balcony door didn’t lock, no extra sheets for the person sleeping on couch. Older unit with air vents coming loose from wall but a/c did work well. We came for a quick trip and had great weather with gorgeous sunsets!

Perfect getaway

SanDestin is Great location away from the absolute congested traffic, close enough you can get to the harbor for a fishing trip in morning when traffic is light. Kids spent just as much time in pool as the ocean. Kitchen allowed us to prepare most meals (WinDix close) and went out couple time for nice family dinners without driving more than 20m. Hope to spend another week and half here next trip around.

Lights, music, a small gift basket, and toiletries were waiting for us which was a nice touch. It was clean and cozy. My only complaint is the rooms are so bright at night it was hard to sleep. I recommend some curtains. The bed was OK but not what I am used to, (my temperpedic mattress). Other than that we enjoyed the view and our stay.

So convenient and just right

Check in was a breeze! All instructions were sent via email and we had no problems. We love staying in San Destin. Beach access is steps away.

After all they are in one of Florida’s most beautiful locations. They cover all the bases: clean, safe, ease of renting because you can actually talk to them on the phone. I have always admired their fantastic customer service.

Description and Pictures Are Dated

The listing and pictures are very misleading. This place has not been recently renovated or freshly updated- maybe in 2019 but not recently. The mirrors on the wall make this place look bigger than it is but it's deceptive. My biggest complaint is there were cockroaches. Inside we had three come running out from under the dishwasher and had to keep our food locked up inside microwave and then outside on balcony there were at least 2 big wood cockroaches which tells me there is not some sort of maintenance being done to spray regularly for pests. It is the South and they are more commonly found but I've been coming to Destin for years and never had a problem somewhere I've stayed with bugs. There was broken furniture like a table that you couldn't set items on because it fell over, bathroom doorknob was old and didn't lock, outlets were loose and didn't keep your chargers plugged in so several mornings I woke up to a dead phone. Toilet didn't flush well and had to be plunged several times. Dishwasher was extremely loud and disruptive to run at night while you were sleeping. Furniture looked dirty and unclean. Carpets in bedrooms was dirty. There was some broken tile. Walls were in need of paint and were dirty and scuffed. There are randomly two microwaves but there is nowhere to store your dry food items you might buy at the store because there are very few cabinets and they are full of dishes. The building itself is like an old college dorm. The lobby smells of cheap disinfectant when you first walk in. This entire property is run down and you can tell they just run a lot of people through there with little to no upkeep. It was a lot of money to spend for a small two bedroom condo and we didn't stay the full week.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Over all we had a great stay. But I was disappointed in the condo. Pictures make it seem much bigger and cleaner than actual. The price was premium but the condo was minimum. Examples: baseboard dirty, couch stained, no storage for our food in kitchen, areas of mold/dirt in shower, a bit of a musty smell. Location is VERY crowded.
