Great experience!

We loved our room and the location. It was right above a restaurant and shopping center where you can walk along the water. Very close to the beach! We easily got Ubers to take us where we needed to go. Highly recommend!

Location top-notch

This condo location was amazing. It is next to wonderful restaurants, and a great walking and biking path. Absolutely loved using the Dune Buggy service to get to and from the beach- so convenient and easy. The condo itself is clean and everything is nice. Be prepared that it is a bit dated and the carpet all needs to be replaced but other than that the place is great!

Great condo for two

Excellent location to dining and shopping just downstairs. The view from the balcony for two was great! We loved seeing the water and boats. Nice water pressure in the shower and comfortable king bed. Outdated decor but functional and clean. Spiral staircase is sturdy and has non slip tall on stairs. You still want to walk slowly and hold the rail. Great condo for two at a great price for a nice area in HHI!

Would recommend but needs a little improving

The condo is beautiful and the view is great! The master bedroom is massive! We loved it! But we could not get connected to the WiFi and the TVs wouldn’t work. The spiral stairs need to be replaced soon. They were very wobbly. But the condo was beautiful overall!

Old, and needs updating. Spiral staircase to second floor. Carpets are old and need replacement. TV is old, watching football was a hassle. The location is good with nice walking distance to the area restaurants and bars.

Horrible Stay

This property has stains everywhere, ceiling, rugs, walls some from water leaks some from management failure to replace a completely stained area rug. Our apartment was not cleaned when we checked in and the cleaning people randomly showed up and hour later. The management team sent me a generic email when I scored a low survey for their cleanliness and never reached out to me after. They also tell you that before check in pick up a welcome packet to get in the apartment and the only thing in this so called welcome packet was a parking pass which we didn’t even need. Horrible. VACASA is the horrible management company and this place was old and dirty NOT vintage we were excited for.

Location wonderful, condo….not so much.

The location and balcony view was amazing. We spent most late nights there and it was the most enjoyable way to spend the evening. Also, the folks at Vacasa were fantastic! When we arrived we noticed there were no pillows or linens for the sofa bed and one call (after 6 p.m.) had them delivered to our condo within the hour. We so appreciated that, just top notch service! As far as the condo, the general appearance was one of neglect as it appears to be an intact time capsule from the early 80’s. Everything in the condo appeared to be original except for the dishwasher. Several items were non/sub functional (no working light over the stove, handles on bathroom sink not working properly) and others were a little scary (Master bath Hollywood bulb vanity lights heat output became unbearable in less than a minute!) In addition, running a hair dryer while the vanity lights were on was not possible as the circuit breaker was tripped every time. Previous reviews had mentioned the stained carpets, which appear to remain, albeit covered somewhat by a nylon rug in the living area. That being said, we had a good time, and hope that the owners will address these issues for future guests!

Ideal place!

This place is in a great location in Shelter Cove! Right above Scott's Fish Mkt, Top Dawg Tavern and Social Bakery! Very quiet and relaxing. Comfortable bed and well-equipped kitchen. Take the Dunes Buggy right to The Dunes House right on the beach! No need to drive!

Property needs major refreshing. Everything is dated. Ceilings are peeling, icemaker broken, fauset in the downstairs bathroom does not turn off properly. Wall in the dinnet paint scaped. Hold place needs to be painted. Toilets are built for children. Almost had to get on your knees to get on the pot. View was fantastic, bed was good.

Very nice condo close to restaurants, shops, and music. Beautiful view of marina. Wish we could have stayed a little longer.

Nice place in a great location

Location was great. Place was very nice and super convenient for restaurants, bars and beaches. I am not picky and it did not ruin our vacation whatsoever, but the rugs really need to be replaced. To many stains right in the middle of the floors, otherwise I would rate this a high 5 star

Wouldn't stay again

PROs: dealing with the company, securing codes/materials, location, wifi worked as advertised, updated shower CONs: First and foremost, the room is dingy and dated. Numerous and very noticeable stains on the carpet in and around the kitchen. Big spots, too. Needs steam cleaning or be replaced. Wine glasses grimy & smelled of stale wine. Someone had simply rinsed the glasses with water and stuck them in the cabinet. The rest of the kitchen was fairly good, though very old and dated. We found a pair of sneakers under the coffee table. Obviously, no one had thoroughly vacuumed. Wallpaper was hanging off the wall in a places, most noticeably upstairs by the big jetted tub. Windows hadn't been cleaned as there were large smudges, especially on the sliding door to the small balcony. Cushions on the balcony chairs are grimy. There is a working ceiling fan on the balcony, but it's in severe need of cleaning--lots of grime, dirt, and cobwebs. As for decor, it appears the dry goods and furniture are original to the apartment--nothing before 1980 it would seem. The sheets on the bed were clean, but they were pilled, as if my grandmother had pulled them out of her downstairs linen closet. I will say the bed was comfortable. Lots of plastic plants. The jetted tub--which sits in the master bedroom itself--looks like it came straight from a Las Vegas high-roller's room. . .from the 80s. Still, it had plentiful hot water and appeared clean. The heat from the lights in the bathroom--yikes! Briefly, this room is fine if cleanliness or modern decor isn't a big deal to you, as this isn't a luxurious room nor a particularly clean one. Location good but bar/restaurant sits right beneath you, so it gets loud. We knew that going in, so not a knock--just be aware.

Very nice but some things you should know to expect.

This was a good place. However, there are a few things you might like to know about the place. It is located directly above a restaurant. While very convenient on rainy days, early every morning they use a blower to clean the outside dining which is very noisy. The balcony sliding door is very hard to open. The TV's are very small and poor quality sound. The lights for the master bath vanity are very bright and hot. They are located on the sides of the mirror so they tend to be more blinding rather than helpful. However, our stay was pleasant and the large jetted tub was very nice. This tub is huge and very comfortable for two full sized adults.
