Beautiful house in a great location

Our stay was amazing. The location can't be beat. The house was as advertised and the owners were super responsive. We loved sitting on the front porch feeling the ocean breeze in the mornings and evenings. Definitely will return!!

Great location for a family beach vacation!

Fantastic location -- steps to downtown and only a few minutes walk to the beach. Good size bedrooms. Comfortable living space. Host was easy to communicate with and very accommodating. Excited to go back next year!

Super great location and quick communications

You can't beat the location. We have now stayed here two years in a row. There was an issue with the a/c but communication was great and it worked out okay.

Best location in Ogunquit!

This is the 3rd year my family and I have stayed at this home and we can't say enough good things!! The home is clean, organized and very well taken care of! The host is always a message away and we couldn't be more thankful! Looking forward to many more summers here!!

Perfect Family Home & Location

Our favorite family trip every year is to Ogunquit. We have been coming up for the last 8 years and the last two were enjoyed at this super convenient home! The home was clean and spacious, the communication was easy and we definitely can’t wait to spend the next summers here!! Very much looking forward to it !

Summer Vacation

We had an absolute fantastic vacation at this house! The location was perfect, easy walking to beach and restaurants. We did one big food shop when we arrived, then never needed the car again. The market for anything else we needed is within walking distance. We enjoyed sitting on the screened in porch, the house was very spacious for our family. The owners were very responsive to anything we needed (which was not a lot). We hope to be back again for sure!!!

This is an awesome location as I enjoy parking my car and not driving again until I leave (except to go whale watching). The house was well-furnished, nothing fancy but everything that's needed. The communication was fast and effortless. We had 5 adults staying there and it had sufficient room, but I think 8 would be crowded. Of course, we're not in the house that much so it wasn't an issue. Overall, I was very happy staying here and would do it again!

Perfect Location

The “Purple House” is SO convenient. It was hot and muggy during the week we were there and the room air conditioners made sleeping easy as well as sitting with a book or eating meals. The 2-3 car tandem parking was great. Although linens are not provided our host helpfully gave us the name of a rental company so we reserved in advance and they were there when we arrived. We were flying into Boston and did not want to bring linens. Over all an A rating. The only slight negative is the screened in porch. It is in need of repair.

A Nice Place to Stay - Room For Improvement

We enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was well supplied with gear for cooking. The washer and dryer were in very good working condition, The beds were comfortable and all appliances, TV's, etc. were in good working order and WIFI worked well. The awesome location to the town and beach is the best asset. We were disappointed that there was no hot tub even though this was listed in the on-line description. We had a small leak occur from the 1st floor ceiling from the upstairs bathroom and it seems like the tub may have been added overtop of an old tub without the overflow drain being connected, A few suggestions to consider (1) put up hooks at the back door entry for coats and particularly in the bathrooms for towels. (2) Replace the couch at the foot of the stairs with two chairs and a table to make a cozy conversation nook; and lastly (3) have the overflow connection checked on the upstairs tub. Lastly I want to mention that the host, Raphaela, was very helpful and very responsive. Thank you,

Early Season Week in OGT.

Biggest plus would be location. We were the first rental of the season it seemed. Would have expected a cleaner home. Attention to detail for opening, dirty windows and such. House had no heat at all. When we inquired they stated when the purchased the house last year the system was unusable and they had not replaced it yet. They pointed out that heat was not listed as an amenity, sorry for the inconvenience. For a home in New England to have no heat for almost anytime of year, it should certainly be something noted in the homes notes. I would never expect to have to look for heat in the amenity list, my mistake I suppose, but not really acceptable. Onwer contact was very responsive and allowed us to check in a couple hours early, that was nice. To sum up, it certainly is a "Beach House" but not up to the cost or expectation for the OGT area.

Fantastic home in town center and close to beach

We had a fantastic experience! The house had many amenities including a well-appointed kitchen, strong a/c, laundry and comfortable common spaces. Fun extras including beach toys and wagons to take to the beach. We couldn't have asked for a better location. The local playground was across the street which a was plus as we have extended family with toddlers we could meet up with there. The owner was incredibly responsive and accommodating even when we messed up our arrival . We can't wait to return!

Beautiful spacious home in perfect location!

This home was perfect. Nice open layout, decent size bedrooms with lots of closet space and the perfect location to walk EVERYWHERE. Didn’t have to get in our cars for the whole week. Will definitely be staying here again.

Great location, not a fan of bringing linens.

This is the best location you could ask for. I was told 2 days before that we had to bring our own sheets and towels. There were no blankets and no heat and it got down to the 40's the 3rd week in June.

Nice house, great location

Overall very good. House is located just off Shore Rd which puts everything within walking distance. There’s a town playground directly across the street which was wonderful for the kids (not as great at night when locals hang out and played music loudly until midnight a few times). Older home with an updated kitchen, minor electrical issues managed by the owner. Lack of towels or bedding sheets and pillowcases was manageable but could have been better detailed. We brought more than needed for the 3 queen beds and two full or twin…??? Beds using queen sheets for all 4 beds.

Perfect location

The property was clean upon arrival with plenty of room for everyone. There's a large dining table that was perfect for our group. The location is super! I quick walk to beach & restaurants. The kids enjoyed having basketball court so close. We hope to stay again.

Fantastic house, in an amazing location!

We had so much fun staying here for a week. It's close to all the restaurants and shops, it's a 5 min walk from the beach, the owner has beach chairs and boogie boards that you can rent! The house is spacious, and the kitchen was fully stocked with every appliance and utensil. We were here in July so the house does tend to get a bit hot if you don't continuously run the AC, but other than that, it was perfect.
