CASA LAURA is a spacious, airy and bright penthouse apartment for 2 guests located on a quiet street at the Cathedral of Lucca and very close to the Botanical Garden of Lucca, inside the city walls.

Totally renovated and furnished by architect, this luxury comfortable apartment offers 2 sleeps places in 1 double king size bedroom and having 2 bathrooms makes it ideal for a senior couple looking for charm, style, space, privacy and comfort.

A well equipped brand new kitchen, wifi and air conditioning are free of extra costs. The 2 bathrooms have large built-in showers. The location is fantastic, inside the city walls and close to the access Passeggiata (the promenade up on the walls under century old trees) and right behind the Cathdral of Lucca where the Puccini Concerts takes place every night, restaurants and groceries stores. A free parking is located in about 10 min walking from the apartment while a payment parking is located in slightly less than 5 mins walking from the apartment (13 euros daily or subscriptions available for 50 euros for up to 1 month stay).

This is a brand new apartment of 100sqm. decorated and refurnished with elegance and with high quality furnitures. Every room is large and bright with sunny aspect and provided with air conditioning.

COMPOSITION:

Entrance room, kitchen with dining, Living room opening onto a grand terrace, a king size bedroom, two bathrooms both with a built-in shower, a grand wardrobe room with laundry facilities (washing machine and clothes dryer available + iron and board), a study room with desk and a view.

The bathroom is equipped with quality soft towels and bathrobes, scale, hair dryer.

More about the street: Set in Via Del Giardino Botanico, this elegant apartment is in a great location near the Botanical Garden, and Via Del Fosso, with spring water fountains that you can collect with your own bottle for fresh and natural water every day. The Cathedral is located right on the other end of the street as well as the Puccini Concerts in the Church of San Giovanni e Reparata. The bespoke pastry shop Pasticceria Dianda (one of the best in town) is located along the street where the apartment is located. Also the ramp to the walls is just around the corner. The near Via Elisa offers great restaurants and trattorias.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay. The room was comfortable, clean and spacious and had all the amenities as advertised. The rooftop deck was large and comfortable with nice views of the town. We stayed for two weeks and would definitely stay again in the future.

Wonderful property that was clean and exactly what we wanted and described on the Vrbo site. The manager, Elizabeth, was very responsive to our needs. Will use Lucca Villas again!

Absolutely Lovely!

Enjoyed our time so much in Lucca and this apartment was the perfect place to end each day. Spacious, relaxing, and even though it rained quite a bit while we were there - we still were able to enjoy the lovely rooftop patio. The neighborhood is quiet but also walkable to the historic center, shops, and restaurants.

Fabulous apartment in a brilliant location within the walls of Lovely Lucca. We love Lucca and this apartment made our stay really special. Very quiet at all times. Wonderful sun terrace. Very well equipped with plates, cutlery etc. full size dishwasher and fridge freezer. The stairs to the apartment are a great workout!

Loved every minute at Casa Laura

The air conditioning was an absolute god send, as it was so hot in August, and many places around the city didn’t have air con. It was such a haven. Amazing bakery and pizzeria close by. Beautiful furnishings and well equipped. The terrace is amazing and completely private. There are a lot of stairs so one needs to account for this if not used to it.

Perfect apartment in perfect location

Beautiful apartment, stylishly furnished and well equipped. The location was perfect, overlooking the walls and with shops and restaurants close by. The small garden was perfect for breakfast or a pre-dinner drink in the evenings. Mrs Sonia was charming and very helpful, even allowing us to keep the apartment on until late afternoon on our last day. We had a fantastic holiday and would definitely stay here again

Fantastic Apartment

We loved this apartment. It was spotless and had everything that we needed however not having any toilet paper at all in either of the bathrooms was slightly annoying. The handover of the keys was seamless and Mrs Sonia was very efficient. Wonderful location. Wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Having 2 bathrooms was super convenient and the little room behind the master bedroom for the laundry was a great asset. Kitchen was well stocked and bed was comfortable. Make sure you can do stairs as this is located on the top floor of the bldg. I have no improvements to recommend. It was just super.

Nice accommodations...

We had a fantastic time in Lucca. The accommodations were comfortable with a great location inside the walls. The train and bus station is just an 8 minute walk away. We used Tau Touring for round trip transportation from Florence to Lucca. Bring your own soap and shampoo as they are not provided. Be sure to review the guest book at the residence for recommendations for restaurants and activities.

Lovely Lucca Penthouse Apartment

Classic building in the very center of Lucca. Top floor and a few steps to take you there but it's worth it! Furnishings range very nice. Views are spectacular! Reminds you why you chose this spot. Very airy living/dining area. Bedroom adequate. Felt better than hotel stay for our 6 days we spent there. Great to be steps away from the action but also above the crowds when you want.

Great location, decor, etc. Just a few things that need to be added to make it perfect: oven instructions, oven mitt, coasters for tables, lighter for candles on terrace, newer towels, spare toilet paper and a few basics in the kitchen like salt, pepper & oil. The information booklet was very helpful!

Perfect hideaway in the old part of Lucca

A cleverly converted apartment with a very private and beautiful terrace. Comfortable bed. Not for people who can’t do stairs but the climb to the apartment is perfect for those who want quiet and privacy. IMPRESSIVE, the best

This is our second time at a Luccaapartmentsandvillas very nice accomodations. Nicely appointed and amentities, ie soap, coffee,paper towels, etc. We are very comfortable in Lucca, so we did not need to use the office staff, but its nice to know they are there if needed. I strongly rec'd using their services, its just so easy and they bring you right into apt. So much nicer than a hotel, coffee in your PJ's, a kitchen to make snacks, and the most amazing terrace with a magnificent view! I will def use again.

Lovely, peaceful flat in which to relax and enjoy Lucca

Sonia is very kind and attentive. The apartment is spacious, lovely and well-appointed. It's location is ideal: very quiet neighborhood, easy access to the wall, and an easy walk to many excellent restaurants and bars. The benefit of two full baths cannot be overstated. The terrace is spacious, private, and very comfortable. We used it daily. Two minor points: the wooden pallets need to be removed from the terrace, and it would be great if there were actually two bicycles, as there were formerly. Fantastic property. We will return. Arrivederci!

Absolutely stunning.

This property is absolutely beautiful with incredible views, and perfect location with dining, shopping and so many interesting sights just steps away. The train station is a short walk which made traveling to other towns very easy as was parking after we got a car. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything needed to prepare a nice meal to enjoy on the balcony. Very spacious, and clean. Ms. Elizabeth is a perfect host. She was very prompt in meeting us and check in was very easy. We can't say enough good things about our week in Lucca. Coming home to this beautiful place at the end of the day was a real pleasure. Highly, highly recommend.

Historic elegantly furbished designer apartment

We were so enchanted by our stay in Lucca in general and in this apartment in particular. Such a wonderful medieval city to explore and discover it's many delights. This apartment was the perfect location to be able to walk easily everywhere in Lucca. The apartment is elegant and very comfortable. It is all that the beautiful pictures depict. It is quiet, clean, luxurious and just perfect for a singlea couple. Sonia was very helpful and responded immediately to any request. I highly recommend this apartment for a delightful stay in Lucca. One caveat, there are 4 flights of stairs and no elevator....so caution for those with limited mobility.....however, Sonia has many other properties equally as tasteful with no stairs if desired.

Lucca stay near botanical garden

The apartment was lovely, well located and as described in the photos. I would only suggest that the host provide paper towels or kitchen wipes to make it easier to keep the kitchen clean. There were no dining napkins neither paper nor cloth. The grey bath mats needed laundering and lighting above the stove and one sconce had burned out bulbs. The floor was damaged by previous guests near the coach - water stain plus deep gouges.
