Very Large Studio & Porch, 5 Min Walk to Beach, Secluded, Tranquil & Green

This a large studio with ample space in the sleeping, living and kitchen areas. Fully equipped kitchen with stove, oven and all utensils for self-catering. Washing machine and access to dryer if needed. The lovely breezy screened-in porch in the secluded shade of a local mahogany tree is an enviable space to relax, eat, read or work.
"Loggerhead" is a ground floor annex/conversion to our main house and is vey private and quiet. The feeling is quiet, cosy, tranquil and conducive to reflection and inspiration. There is shared access to pool and garden play and exercise areas. Easily accomodates 2 but could extend to sleep 4 people (e.g. 2 children) on the comfortable pull-out sofa.

Loggerhead was perfect. Everything you need for a couple and the lanai was a nice added touch making the space feel so much bigger. A large pool and a short walk to beach access makes this the perfect centralized location. If you want to explore, Grace Bay is a short 5 minute drive loaded with great restaurants, beaches and a grocery store.

Amazing stay in Long Bay!

One of the best places I have stayed! Such a lovely property and extremely clean, even better in pictures. However, because we did not have a car, the location was a bit inconvenient, but other than that, highly recommend this place!

Wonderful

Staying at Winward Lodge with Marissa & Ed as hosts was truly wonderful. For us, the location is perfect. The property was exactly as pictured and described. We’re looking forward to a return trip soon!!

Beautiful place!

Lovely apartment away from the crowds. Walking distance to the beach. great pool area, spacious porch, and one of my favorite amenity, yoga mats, blocks and bolsters!!!

What a gem!

We loved it! Studio was exactly as advertised. The hosts were great. We had rented a car so it was easy for us to get to restaurants and shops. We basically saw all 4 corners of the island and the studio was very well situated for day trips. When we book a return to Turks we will definitely stay here again!

Spring Break

We had a wonderful trip. The property overall is lovely and we had a wonderful time. We chose this location because of the beautiful playground just outside our back door. For us, it was what set the other properties apart for a family. Unfortunately it was so overgrown with weeds and grass our children couldn’t utilize it.

Dear Carrie, we are pleased you had a wonderful trip and stay at our property overall. We are very sorry that you found the playground to be too overgrown for your children. We actually try to keep it as natural and "wild" as possible. Most plants; the wild, local and very unique flora, we do not consider as "weeds". Our gardener may have over-looked this area as of recent and some areas must need a little strimming and trimming back. I will get on this immediately. I am just curious as to why you didn't notify us of this at the beginning of your stay? We could have easily and quickly rectified the situation for your children to enjoy the playground fully.

I recently had the pleasure to stay at the studio apartment with my husband and 2 boys (ages 4 and 6). From the moment I booked, the host's communication was prompt and friendly, making me feel welcome even before I arrived. They ensured my stay was enjoyable and provided detailed recommendations for local activities and dining options. The location was great, only about a 10 min drive to Grace Bay Beach.

Amazing stay, clean facilities and excellent host!

Our first time to TCI and not our last. Location is a bit outside of the Grace Bay Area, but with our rental car we were in an excellent location to commute to grocery stores, shops and restaurants which was great Beaches were a short walk away from the property (Long Bay) and a drive to other locations Grace Bay. Da Conch Shack was great on Wednesday night! We found shopping local was great, variety of produce, meats, seafood Nd fish was readily available. Pays to shop around for sure. Edward was a great host and we look forward to being back!

4 Day Vacation

The property was amazing. Extremely clean and well constructed, just as pictured. We loved it, perfect for two people. The beach was a 5 minute walk and it literally felt like stumbling upon Paradise! We didn’t get in the pool but it was clean and had a really nice lounge area near it. Renting a car is a must. The busier Grace Bay Area is on only an 8-9 minute drive. All directions, instructions and tips we received from the host were spot on and very helpful. Would definitely stay again and wish we stayed longer!

Peaceful and comfortable!

We enjoyed our stay here very much. It was very peaceful and comfortable, and had everything we needed. You definitely need a car to get around. The porch provided a calming and breezy retreat that was perfect for a late afternoon nap. We didn’t use the pool (we’re beach people) but it was kept clean. Our only complaint was the bed size which was not a king size. The owner explained its a UK king size which is like a US queen, but it was ok for us. The sleeper sofa was very comfortable.

Loved our stay here!

We had reserved Loggerhead. The booking process was smooth and easy. Edward was available on chat to answer any questions we had. He even helped us with local recommendations when we were unable to book a rental car. The property is clean, and comes with a fully equipped kitchen and a functional washer, exactly as advertised. This was definitely our favorite Vrbo stay. The swimming pool and the proximity to the beach were our favorite parts of the stay. If you’re looking for a relaxing time away from the hustle, this is the place to go. For exploring around the island I’ll highly recommend renting a car. The Long Bay beach is a few minutes walk away and is a great place to view sun rises. It’s a cozy beach full of conch shells.

Studio in Paradise

The studio was perfect for the two of us! Clean, comfortable, and we felt at home immediately. Being a few minutes away from the hustle and bustle, we enjoyed the peace and tranquility, but loved being just a short drive to restaurants and activities. A rental car was a must to truly experience everything the island has to offer. Easy check-in and clear communication. Made good use of the provided cooler, beach chairs and umbrella. We had an incredible trip and look forward to visiting again!
