Wonderful stay!

Sun Villa was fantastic for our group. The villa was lovely and functional for our needs, renting the van was perfect for us plus the pool, golf carts, chairs, cooler etc. We were well equipped and felt perfectly safe. Our communication with the host was great as well. Highly recommended for others who want great value and convenience to explore long bay plus other areas! We’d definitely return.

Wonderful stay in Providenciales, Turks&Caicos

Lovely villa with a pool (and hammocks) that was minutes from Long Bay Beach by car or golf cart, and close enough to Grace Bay and the main shopping and restaurant area. The host was very responsive for any questions and help needed. We would love to re visit with friends and family.

Great place

Good location, close to Long Bay but need a car to go to Grace Bay. House is well maintained and has all of the basics. Had issues with opening the front door but the owner was easy to reach and promptly took care of it. I would recommend this place.

This place is amazing! I had a great time and all the amenities offered was perfect. Shanell is an excellent host, as she made herself available for any request I had. The property is perfect for those who want to stay away from crowded areas. You’ll definitely need a car to get around since everything is a distance. I highly recommend this place if your visiting Turks and Caicos ☺️

Excellent location and a private pool

This house is 5 mins away from the beach by golf cart (included with the house), and has a nice pool where you can chill out in one of the hammocks. Well-equipped for breakfast and other meals, but not far away from all the Grace Bay restaurants (10 mins by car) and grocery stores. We'll be back.

Great place!

The house is clean and has everything you might need (except food, of course), the location is spot on, the area is nice(there was construction all around, but not too awfully loud or disruptive). I would just recommend to rent a car from AVIS, its cheaper and more realiable, and their cars are much newer. Thank you to Daniel for all your help (with the car situation) and this beautiful home in paradise! We enjoyed it very much!

The property is great if you are interested in kiteboarding at long bay! Golf cart is a quick and easy way to get there. The manager Newmond was wonderful! nothing but positive things to say about him! Communication was great. The house has a nice size kitchen and the grocery store was about 10 minutes away so we were able to cook meals while there. The pool is also nice and private. Would definitely stay here again!

A Provo Gem

The 2 bedroom house was perfect for our needs. It was spotless and had everything we needed to make our 8 nights perfect. It was secure with a gate, and we felt very comfortable at all times. It's very easy to get to and was close enough to the beach you could walk if you desired. You would need to rent a car to get to any other beaches than Long Bay, but that was totally expected. The pool was great for escaping the afternoon heat with 3 small children and we spent lots of evenings using the gas BBQ. All in all I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property to anyone and we plan on returning to this property on our next Turks adventure!

Enjoyed our stay. Wonderful family memories. Pool area was terrific after a day at the beach. Villas were comfortable. Golf cart was a big hit. Was concerned that no one contacted us the entire week. We were without WIFI for 3days until we figured out the outlet had tripped on the WIFI amplifier. No TV channels in our Villa. No issue for us but might concern some. All in all we had an awesome week. Would recommend Sun/Sea Villas to anyone! Tom

Beautiful island and people

The location was close to the beach (gorgeous), food was great (Omar’s), coco bistro etc. Excursions were a great way to learn about the island. Instructions were clear and manager was very responsive. Everything was close by and their was more than enough room. The weather is hot lol but luckily the beach is near, prices of everything is high so plan accordingly. Over $6 for gas should be hint. Many different ppl there which was great. The property was spacious, my kids enjoyed the tv, internet no issues, washer and dryer came in handy, pool was clean and area relaxing. I would recommend this place. P.S don’t discount the whole place if an insect gets in.

Location , comfort and value

We picked the Sun villa for our trip to TCI mostly because of its proximity and easy access to Long Bay Beach. The house is a short walk or better yet a fun golf cart drive to the public beach access near the Shore club. Plenty of space on the beach to set up kites and Godfrey is always there to serve you a drink in the Turks tiki bikini hut. The pool is clean and well kept and perfect afternoon place to relax. We rented the 4 person car and it was defect for exploring the island. The kitchen is well equipped and the IGA market is only a short drive away. Daniel the owner and Newmond the property manager are very available and quick to respond to any issues. This was our second trip to the Sun villa, this property is set up well especially if you are coming to kite. The second house Sea villa is located on the same property and shares the pool. It was so much fun we are planning a return trip!

Nice island house

Property is ideal for kiteboarders and those who want a comfy house that avoids the touristy, resort-heavy Grace Bay. Less than a mile walk to Long Bay kiteboarding Mecca. Dani is a chill, nice host with good advice on where to eat and see the sights. Spacious house with two bedrooms, two baths, and a nice TV area with sofa. Pool area has two hammocks and plenty of chairs; is a perfect place to relax after the beach and it’s intense sun. Kitchen is equipped to cook, but has no staples. Consider bringing coffee/tea, breakfast cereal, and some spices — prices on the island are exorbitant. Cereal can be $10, 10oz bag of coffee $24, toothpaste $12, you get the idea. Fresh fish is to be had at Provo Fish market by the airport, its maybe open at 4:30p when the boats come in — call or ask around, we missed timing it right. We most shopped at IGA, but warehouse cash and carry near airport had better prices on chips and dry goods (skip their frozen food, it’s bad).

Lovely Vacay in PROVO!

Nice clean villa with plenty of room! Dan and his wife were very pleasant. It was nice having them around and they were always helpful with our questions. They had great recommendations as well. We loved how close this property was to everything. We rented the car they had available which I would highly recommend to get around the island. The car was waiting at the airport for us when we arrived. We were able to drive it to the airport and leave it where we picked it up the day we left. Although we didn’t use it much, there was a golf cart available if we needed it to go down to Long Bay Beach. This property had everything we needed for our 6 days. Close to Grace Bay beach, grocery store, snorkeling, shopping and a short drive to other places we wanted to see. The private pool with beautiful landscaping around it was nice to have when we just wanted to relax. Hammocks were a hit to lay in. Thanks for everything! We really enjoyed your place, thanks for letting us stay. PROVO WAS SOOOO BEAUTIFUL!! We loved that we felt safe roaming the island at all hours. Can’t wait to come back!!

Perfect spot for kite surfing family

We spent a week enjoying amazing windy days on Long Bay beach. The property was absolutely perfect for our needs. The house is close to long bay beach public entrance and the golf cart made getting the gear and the people to beach so fun! The kitchen and the house is well equipped and we cooked most of our meals and made lunches. Breakfast on the porch and after beach cocktail around the pool. The beds are super comfy with easy access to the bathrooms. The neighborhood is very quiet most other properties on the street are not yet ready to be habitated. We were able to safely store our ample kiting gear in the house and there is enough outdoor space for rinsing and drying these out. We also rented the small car that is available with the house. That was amazingly convinient and super easy pick up right at airport parking lot. We were able to fit most of our gear and 3 people…we made a second trip to get the rest of the gear and our fourth traveler. The trip to the airport only takes less than30 minutes.. overall we loved staying at the Sun house and we will definitely be back. Next time we might bring friends and rent the Sea house which is part of the same property.

Misleading

The house was clean on arrival unfortunately there were ants all along the window in the kitchen then while putting the spices in the cupboard I saw my first cockroach there. We spent the rest of the week killing and getting rid of centipedes, ants, roaches, and other bugs. I understand there will be a few but really? Secondly, the safe code did not work. Third, there are two security gates and the code we were given only worked for one side, so the other gate was left open. Fourth, the pool, the net to clean the pool was shredded and torn off the pole so we could not even clean the pool. Five, one of the handles in the shower was missing so we could not use it. Six, no hair dryer, no spices what so ever. (thank goodnesss we brought our own). Seven, was very mislead about the location and distance to the beach. We had to take the only working golf cart that went extremely slow down the road, to the right, down that road, to the left, etc. We thought that the beach was closer to the house. Eight, the area outside of the house was a mess. Nine, while sitting outside by the pool one evening (which was smaller than we thought), two stray dogs came up and started licking my face! I jumped and screamed. They came back every night. At least they were nice enough. Ten, a lot of construction going on around the villas neighborhood if you are fine with staying in a construction neighborhood. The positive is that it was not a tourist neighborhood and it was pretty quiet and isolated.

Hi Did you tell the manager about ant ect? we would have the villa shoot ...we shoot every 3 month unless exception which seems to be the case The beach is exactly 600 meter from the villa. and that what is advertise...Saying it not that close is a false comment The golf cart is slow because we had so much accident, we had to make it slow it still very useful to carry kite gear.it is slow but no rush Nowhere we mention spice is supply Last you should email us or call us we would of take care of any matter right away (code information, house treatment) has you can see all our review mention how clean our villa are... Nice location, loved the golf cart, perfect!

Check in, communication, and the Villa were all great! My kids (teenagers) loved the golf cart! The pool was nice and private, the pool is shared with the other villa but was never a problem..our neighbors were very nice. The villa is not far from Grace Bay, the grocery store, or any other beach you want to explore. It was our first time to Turks and Caicos and we enjoyed it very much. We would stay at the villa again, great price as well.

Week in paradise

The Sun Villa was everything we could have wished for. The location was perfect. Since it was a little distance from beach, the value was excellent. The golf cart made that small distance a non-issue. The villa was well stocked (enough towels, linens, dishes, spices, etc) also. Having the pool was the perfect was to end a day on the beach, the kids loved it. We did bring a life jacket for our 6 yo - even though she can swim, half of the pool was deeper than what she could reach so I’m glad we had it. The hammocks were a nice touch too. We used the outdoor grill twice - perfect! As others mentioned don’t forget bug spray - there were tiny little bugs (at the beaches and villa area) that bit, and they itch like crazy, mainly evenings though. The property had a gate and we felt very safe. Daniel was a great host, and attended to all our needs. Just a note for potential renters, if you are looking for a luxury stay without wanting to lift a finger this property isn’t what you want. It’s off the beaten path so expect privacy. You need to do everything for yourself. The pool, hammocks, deck chairs and an adapter to connect laptop to TV are all the the entertainment provided. Think about bringing cards/small games, life jackets for smaller kids, small first aid kit, big spray/lots of sunscreen (everything on island is expensive), small assortment of ziploc style baggies. Kitchen had coffee maker (filters were there; also a French press), toaster and blender. Only thing missing for us was more of an inside rug by front door and an indoor broom. A family of 5 tracks a lot of sand from the beach and accumulates a lot of shoes.

Great stay for the price

My friends and I just got back from a week at the SunSea house. We had a great time! The house was clean, pool was great, kitchen had anything we needed. We did find a dead mouse in the drawer with the hair dryer and when I contacted the owner about it I never heard back. Only 6 rolls of toilet paper were provided for 10 people for an entire week. There is also a sign staying to not put the air below 76, which meant the nights were very warm. For the price, this place is definitely worth it! Short drive to Grace bay and restaurants!

Hi Sorry about the phone call, i never receive it or never see it. We sure are sorry and always return phone call. For the toilet paper we should write that we supply basic quantity not full trip needed. For the A/C minimum 76 degree, it is not locked so you could go lower then 76 degree but as you know electricity is incredibly expensive and we try to keep rental price low . We are thinking to propose a A/C option for next year. Thanks for your comment

Sea House

We just returned from two weeks staying in the sea house. The sea house is a two bedroom house (one queen bed and two twins). There is a washer and dryer in the house. The kitchen is well appointed and had everything we could need. There was even a dishwasher (pure luxury while on vacation). There was air conditioning in the house but ut was nice to open the windows and let the breeze blow through the kitchen. The grounds were beautiful and we used the pool daily. It was always clean. There we no bars on the windows (but they locked) and there was a gate with a lock to fasten at night. The owners provided a golf cart for our use to take down to the beach. Long Bay Beach, although well known as s kite surf beach was beautiful, with soft sand and shallow waters without the crowds of Grace Bay. We were so glad we chose this house and would stay next time we return to Provo. There was a TV provided but no cable, therefore we were unable to use it (not a big deal but for some people might be).

Serenity-Beauty-Solitude-Trouble free Vacation Hideaway

My wife and I just spend a 5 night weekend getaway at the Sun Villa. It was our 2nd visit to the Turks and were so happy we discovered this property. The grounds were beautiful. The house was bigger then we needed and it was clean & bright. The pool was spotless as was the entire house & yard. The golf card was an added bonus as we would drive quietly to the beach each morning with coffee cup in hand to watch the sunrise in beautiful Long Bay. We are not much on recommending anything to anyone as you often can be dissapointed and misled but this place met all of our expectations and more. If you want a great deal on an expensive island, stay hear. You will not be dissapointed.
