This elegant and relaxed cottage overlooks beautiful Lake Caroline and the Destin Pointe's Village Green. Just in Time has three spacious bedrooms, three bathrooms, a separate tub in the master suite, a gourmet kitchen with stainless appliances and granite countertops and an inviting large living/dining area. There are front and back porches on both levels where you can enjoy island breezes and relax while taking in the lovely views. Beautifully decorated. Fully equipped with 4 TVs, DVD, Stereo system with a CD player, and a washer/dryer.

THINGS TO KNOW:
Seasonal beach service (one umbrella and two chairs) is included. This service begins March 15 and ends October 31.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

The whole house needs some TLC. No complaints here as I am very familiar with the place and I knew what I was renting. The place was very clean. It would be nice if the owner could invest a little more $ to get a better grill. We used the grills by the pool.

We saw 2 live roaches when we arrived and the condition of the wood floors was disgustingly dirty !! For the cost VRBO charges to clean this home should have been reinspected before new guests arrive!! The king mattress needs replacing as 2 people sleep in rolls to the middle which is very uncomfortable and did not afford restful sleep!! They need a table and chairs outside on back porch for dining outside as another option would be great for children too!!We REALLY MISSED THE TRAM SERVICE TO & from the beach!! It was one of the best features of Destin Pointe houses & condos!! I’m not sure if we will stay there again because of this but look for place on beach as an alternative location??

Staff and manager at destin point excellent!!

House was reassigned to me after the one I reserved was unavailable. House has potential to be a really really nice place with some TLC . It was clean . Needed some outside deck and porch work and some interior touch ups .perfect place for us 3 country folks to stay . Can’t say enough about the young ladies and manager at destin point . Very professional and helpful will definitely use them again.

Property managers are a nightmare

The property is located in a beautiful, guarded neighborhood. The house is a nice home in need of a deep cleaning. Bathroom floors had floss picks under sink, kitchen countertops were covered in grit and film. The cleaning staff failed to remove the marijuana pipe off the back deck, which led to fun conversations and explanations to my children. Many amenities were found on arrival in non-working order. Wine fridge does not work, master bedroom TV did not work, upstairs bedroom ceiling fan was hanging by wires and upstairs bathroom light fixture is dangling off shower ceiling. The real issue started two days later when we found roaches in the lower lever bathroom. All of these issues were Expressed to Vacasa, the property manager, and they didn’t do anything. They only stated that they were very busy and would get back to me in a timely manner. We asked to leave two days early and they wouldn’t answer. We eventually left a day early without hearing anything back. If I were the property owner, I’d fire Vacasa immediately as their service will eventually only cost them renters.

Will book again!!

We loved the house! It was clean. Had everything we needed to cook and grill with. It was perfect for our family of 5. Easy access to the beach just called the tram they picked us up within a couple of minutes and also picked us up and took us back to the house. Great location minutes from everything. We will definitely book again!

Location, Location, Location

Long weekend over Easter holidays. House was perfect! Great size for two adults and four teenagers! Beach chairs/umbrella and bikes at the house. Safe neighborhood and two pools. Only downside is that the furniture is dated and not entirely comfortable. Otherwise great!! And would not let that stop me from renting.

The Home was beautiful, but...

The home was beautiful, but we had several maintenance issues come up and it took hours, days to get them resolved only to not fully have them resolved. One room had hair all in the bathroom from the prior guest. lights, outlets didn't work! But overall, I'd go back and to that property. And that's why I gave it a 5 star rating, the GOOD outweighed the bad.

Spacious clean house, but needs updating!

I liked the house because it was spacious for my family of 6. I didn't like to sit on the sofas because the back cushions were so old, they definitely need to be replaced. The sheets in the master bedroom were super worn out, I needed to pull them down on the mattress every night. Many of the light bulbs were burnt out so maintenance needs to verify all the lights before arrival. Lastly, the pots and pans in the house are SUPER old! I couldn't find one decent pan to make some eggs in the morning so I ended up not using any of them because they were so gross.

This is a neglected vacation home rental

The cleaning crew should be fired. Some of the issue in the house should have been reported by them or whoever inspects the property. They would have noticed the problems if they truly cleaned and inspected the house. The renter should not bare the burden of filing maintenance requests upon arrival. The rental should be ready to go with little-to-no issues. List: Mouse droppings inside kitchen cabinet; vacuum cleaner spits out pellets on the back side; window screens have holes; upstairs toilet does not flush (chain won't stay on in the tank and was this way when we moved in); gas grill is rusted and gross; the kitchen counters are so grimy and filthy we didn't even want to eat in there; light bulbs are burnt throughout the house; the light switches are not synced with the fixtures throughout the house - so you enter a room, flip the switch and the lights don't go on; killed at least one dozen roaches (they are not palmetto bugs); dishwasher does not clean well at all - stopped using it; kitchen faucet water pressure was very weak - it was a trickle at best.
