Absolutely gorgeous home with all the amenities! We stayed here for the Kiawah marathon and it felt like a home away from home.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family has stayed at 13 Angler Hall 3 times in the past 5 years and always have a great time. This year was very similar in that however the upstairs AC unit, where 2 bedrooms are located, was malfunctioning.Thankfully ESPM was quick to send an HVAC tech out but unfortunately it took 3 visits for the issue to be corrected. In the heat of July, this made for difficult sleeping arrangements for 2 of our guests. ESPM did offer an alternate overnight location. We do love this home and its amenties and floor plan. It is on a quiet cul-d-sac w/ a nice 1 mile bike ride to board walk 29/30.

The house was perfect for our needs and location was great as we golfed and enjoyed the beach. We also had many meals at the house and grilled, which was a plus. Kitchen was very well stocked. We hope to come back!

Great Family Gataway

This home is comfortably furnished with plenty of seating for adults in the living room and lots of space for kids to play in the room over the garage. The kitchen is well furnished also. Nice dishes for adults, nice unbreakable dishes for the kids. Plenty of drinkware and mugs. Great cookware and utensils. We all enjoyed the heated wading pool. Beautiful deck overlooks the golf course. Very quiet neighborhood. We had a great time!

Kiawah Nearly Perfect

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 13 Angler Hall was a great fit for us. Plenty of space and a nice updated kitchen that we used a couple nights. Location was great just past the Vandorhorst Gate so we were just minutes to any course. We had four guys in the trip and I drew the short straw so ended up with the upstairs room with the bunk beds. I am 6-foot tall and though I might have preferred one of the other bedroom I had no problems at all in this space. If you happen to have kids it's a perfect space with lots of room. If I had to nitpick anything, the pool was pretty much useless. A hot tub would have been great in its place for my achey back!

And actually the pool is an oversized hot tub, if you pay the $50 per day heating charge we leave a remote control so you can control the jets, lights, heater, etc. We do have the information on that in the property listing description. We hope you'll be back soon to check it out!

Disappointed

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: They home was nice and the kitchen was well stocked. However we were extremely disappointed about the spa. We believe ESPM and the owners of the property were not upfront with us about the spa heating element not working. The spa was also full of debris. After multiple calls and text no maintenance came out to check on the spa in the 4 days we were there. The breaker box was turned off, which tell us there was a problem before we go there. The main reason we rented this property was for the spa. We believe the situation was not handle properly.

Thank you for your feedback. You were the first to request the pool heater for the season, we had left the remote for it out as we allow guests to control the lights, heat level, etc. We spoke with you and we had both our staff and the pool maintenance staff by the house on more than one occasion but the pool heater had a bad element (under warranty because the pool heater is less than a year old and no reason prior to suspect the heater would not be functioning) that caused the breaker to pop and shut off for safety. Unfortunately given the short window of time we were not able to have the element replaced for you to be able to use it and we did refund your pool heat costs of course. The pool heater is now operational and ready to roll!

Great Family House!

The owners have done a nice job to make sure the house is comfortable and welcoming even greeting us with a beautiful Thanksgiving basket! Thank you! That was such a nice surprise! The kitchen is well stocked and has everything you need. We came here for Thanksgiving and I packed everything but the kitchen sink only to arrive and find out that I didn’t need a thing! We were a family of 4 adults and two young adults. Everyone had their own space and privacy. The house was clean and nicely appointed. The room above the garage was an added bonus for the kids. We had a couple of Foose ball tournaments and it allowed the girls a space to study for exams and do their yoga.. The weather was perfect for us to have morning coffee on the porch and watch the golfers play through. The location of the house (for our family) was great. We did long bike rides around the island and then jumped in the car to meet up with friends on the beach. It’s a great house and highly recommend it. The new pool will make a great addition to the property! Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your home. The Romness Family

Lovely vacation home that has it all!

Check in and check out procedures were super easy with little required of the renter. The house was as described with a couple exceptions-beach towels were provided and the kitchen was not bare of oils, a few spices etc. The kitchen was absolutley stocked with anything you could need to cook a meal or enjoy a beverage of any type. The house was clean and adequately stocked with bath towels, toilet paper and trash bags. We enjoyed the deck and pool area. All furniture and pool were in working order.We rented bikes (one with a trailer) and rode to the beach. Bike rental is a must on the island. The kids all had activities inside and outside the home to keep them busy. The home is large enough for your party to space out and breathe/rest. The furniture and beds were comfortable. I highly recommend 13 Angler to anyone who wants to get away and relax. Our favorite meal was at The Royal Tern (worth the drive) and our least favorite was at Cherrywood BBQ. We loved Freshfields Village and visited several times. The Nest was also an easy bike ride for an afternoon snack or coffee. Thanks to the Kelly family for sharing their amazing home with us. We can't wait to come back.

Great house for family to spread out

We enjoy the sunroom as an ‘office’ or reading room near but separate from the family room. Bike ride to the beach is great and easy but a walk w/ kids or older folks is a bit much. The pool is just a plunge pool but nice for cooling off, or use as a hot tub. We’ve enjoyed this houser for several years and would love to come back.

A Wonderful Stay!

You won't regret booking here! The house was wonderful! Everything we could have possibly needed was at the house. My kids loved the bunk room and the pool/hot tub. The location of the house is perfect too if you are looking for a nice and quiet spot. The property manager was very helpful (lost remote, closest beach parking location, etc.) and all questions were answered quickly. My family and I loved everything about the house!
