Hilltop Scandinavian style home with a view

This impeccably designed home boasts gorgeous views of the Santa Monica Mountains.  Right behind the house there are miles of picturesque hiking trails, yet we’re still close to grocery stores and shopping in the lovely town of Thousand Oaks, California.

The back yard is like a 5 star resort.  Enjoy lunch by the poolside ,BBQ-grilled dinners in the gazebo, then relax by the outdoor fire pit sipping a glass of wine while you enjoy the spectacular sunset views.  The house is situated on a half an acre lot and very private.
The neighbourhood is very quiet and we do not allow parties

Large sliding doors provide real indoor/outdoor living.  Step inside to the family room with a cozy fireplace and large flatscreen TV.  Melt into the large, L-shaped couch and enjoy popcorn and movies.

There are 2 comfortable dining areas — one overlooking the pool, the other with stunning mountain views.

The large well-appointed chef’s kitchen has a 6-burner gas range, built-in microwave/warming drawer and acres of countertops.

The spacious and carefully designed master bedroom has a king-sized bed and a large designer closet with plenty of storage.  The ensuite bathroom features a double vanity with two sinks and an artisan-tiled rain shower big enough for two.

Bedroom number 2 has a queen-sized bed, ample closet and views of the the fruit trees.

Bedroom number 3 has a full-sized bed, dresser, desk and a view of the pool.

Bedrooms 2 & 3 share a luxuriously appointed bathroom with a jacuzzi tub.

All bedrooms have high quality linens and great mattresses.

In addition, there is a laundry room with an extra storage closet and full-sized washer and dryer.

Garden and pool service are included.  Weekly housekeeping and linen service can be added for an extra $150.

There will be an additional charge to heat the pool .
