Come back to simple beach life-renovated open plan rambler 3rd house from the beach. Scandi decor; 4 bedrooms , 3 baths, large living/dining /kitchen space. Outside shower and backyard patio great for grilling w weber charcoal grill ; yard with hammock & games. New rooftop deck and seating for 8 with some ocean view. Sleeps 8/10. All 1 level-great for kids and elders; no stairs in main house; 3 stairs to Master bedroom/en suite bath and a balcony. 2 Internet TV's 1 minute walk to beach. Can Rent this property separately, along with with Happy Cottage VRBO # 1647072 (next door) for multiple families. If your focus is the beach, this is a nice simple house and very clean, to base out of.

location good. House way too much money for what we got No beach views. comfortable couches good lighting. Master bed very comfortable. Extremely dirty and quite rundown. I’m not a neat freak at all, but we had to clean quite a bit to feel comfortableDryer handle broken kitchen ill equipped. Old rundown patio furniture, Place seemed like it was on its last legs. However, being a block from the ocean was wonderful. Easy walk to a great beach.

This property was as stated with a large open area for fun family activity. Third bathroom was a bonus and location to beach was excellent. I'm looking forward to renting this place in the summer of 2026 ..... Great Value!

Love the quick and easy checkin. Home is laid out well for families. Great open space for dinner and watching tv. So close to the beach. Looking forward to choosing your property again next year.

What a wonderful rental! The location was excellent, a few doors down from the beach and close to the state park. The beach lovely and pretty quiet here. The inside of the house is nicer than the pictures suggest--particularly the living space, which is roomy. This house would be very comfortable for a group of six, but a little tight if you are eight. We hope to stay again next year.

Perfect Beach Holiday

The house is perfect for families, plenty of room, very well equipped and welcoming. The beach really is just steps away and had a neighborhood feel, never crowded. The owner was really great to deal with throughout.

Exceptional House

I recently stayed at the “Simple Family Beach House” with my family, and we had an exceptional experience. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this property is well taken care of and thoughtfully equipped for guests. The beach location is perfect—just steps away from the ocean, making it ideal for a fun and relaxing getaway. One of the highlights of our stay was the beautiful rooftop deck, where we enjoyed stunning views and spent time soaking in the atmosphere together. It was the perfect spot to unwind after a day at the beach! What truly impressed us, though, was the incredible hospitality exhibited by the hosts. After our stay, we realized we had left some items behind, and they went above and beyond to swiftly coordinate the return of our belongings. This level of care made our experience even more memorable and showcased their commitment to outstanding customer service. I highly recommend this VRBO for anyone looking for a lovely beach retreat! Quiet & Convenient

Few steps from the beach. Extremely quiet neighborhood at the end of South Bethany. Perfect for families we had a handicap family member and the ease of one floor with an open living room and kitchen was perfect! Very peaceful place to rest.

House was perfect for family with adult children. Proximity to beach was unbeatable. Additional pots and pans would nice to be able cook a full meal. Great seating area options.

Quaint Beach cottage

Amazing location! Older beach house within 2 min walk of the beach. Quiet neighborhood with street and driveway parking. The roof deck and addition on the house were the key features. Interior was old, but good gathering space for the family.

Nice getaway close to the beach

We enjoyed our stay in South Bethany. Stacy is quick with communication and fixing a minor problem that came up during our stay. Place has lots of comfy couch space to sit and a nice size dining table. The cool retro fridge was a bit smaller than we are used to using, but still works well. The upstairs deck is nice as well. So close to the beach too. I will say the outside of the house is not up to par with the inside. Weeds over growing the outside shower. It’s just not a well maintained yard. But the house inside is. I would definitely book again.

Wonderful property

Party of 8 including parents, teens and kids. Home is clean and comfortable. Plenty of room to hang out, sleep and eat. Steps from a quiet, beautiful beach. The state park is a short walk away and kayaking on the bay (rentals) is within biking distance. The rooftop deck provides a place to relax after hours with a view of the ocean. Everything you need for a relaxing fun week is here.

Excellent location

Spent a great 2 weeks at this wonderful location. Proximity to the beach was ideal! The house checked all of the boxes, comfort, cleanliness, space and amenities! While we’re used to a covered deck or patio, this house does offer plenty of social gathering space, inside and out. The added master en suite was definitely a plus! What the exterior upkeep was lacking, the location of the property made up for! Keep an eye on this one as the owner has been working to turn this place into a real gem!

Delightful Place & great location!

Loved this simple, comfortable, updated cottage. The added master bedroom and bathroom was wonderful as was the rooftop deck. We want to come back for several weeks next year! Stacy, the owner, was pleasant & promptly responsive to communication. Thank you Stacy.

Great location

Nice master bedroom. Family room large enough for the whole group to be together. Enjoyed the roof deck for coffee in the morning. Don’t forget to make arrangements for your linens before you arrive
