Truly Waterfront Cottage

Cute cottage tucked away amongst the trees on Stoney Creek in Pasadena Md. Enjoy bird watching from the upper deck just off the dining area. Sightings from the cottage include several types of herons, osprey (very cool to watch them dive for fish!), bald eagle, Canadian geese and ducks.
Experience the water up close from the Adirondack chairs on the cottage private pier or patio. Curl up with a morning coffee and enjoy the sunshine. As it gets dark, light a fire in the patio firepit and watch the lights from across the cove shimmer and dance on the water's surface. Feel free to fish off the pier. Tree species on the living shore line include cherry, maple, oak, holly and cedar.

Relax, enjoy the water, recharge. If you do want to venture out, the cottage is conveniently located equidistant from Annapolis and Baltimore's inner harbor. It is 20 minutes from great shopping at Arundel Mills Mall, 30 minutes from The Mall in Columbia, and Westfield Mall in Annapolis. Great selection of restaurants and stores along nearby Mountain Road.

The cottage is less than three miles from the 13.3 mile Baltimore & Annapolis Bike Trail. It is also 20 minutes from Downs Park which includes beautiful walking trails.

This place is a perfect lake cottage for a couple and the hosts are genuinely lovely. The house is clean, well stocked, easily figured out and the hosts are super accommodating. There are so many places to enjoy the view. Quiet, quaint and idyllic. It’s cozy inside as well. We plan to be back every year. Can not recommend this place enough. If you are wondering which Chesapeake lake house to chose, this is it!!

We had a lovely time. Very cozy and clean. Great location. The only thing that was a bummer was two small holes in the canoe so we couldn’t be in it for long because we were afraid. Other than that it was perfect! Would stay again!

Very old house

The home is very old and needs pressure washing and interior updates. It was very dark. The grate in the living room floor gives you a view of the basement which shows pillows and blankets. Very creepy. Not good landscaping to get to the water.Not a do again for me.

Fabulous place to stay

The host was wonderful. Her cottage is adorable and clean. I was only there for 2 nights so I didn’t cook but everything is there for you. The view was spectacular. Very peaceful. Comfortable bed as well. Location is near a lot of things. I would definitely stay again! Thank you Beth.

We really enjoyed our stay at this cottage. It had everything we needed and more. The view was beautiful. It was easy to get in and I even had a squirrel to come visit us at the back door. The squirrel stood at the back door and looked in wanting food. So adorable. Great place and I highly recommend it.

Great spot to relax and get away!

The waterfront cottage is an excellent spot to get away yet still be close to everything! We had a great stay! The cottage was very clean and well maintained! The hosts made it very comfortable and welcoming. It’s a very private and quiet location. We really enjoyed our stay and have it on our list to stay again! Peaceful & Relaxing

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay for the week. We especially were appreciative of the short distances to Baltimore inner harbor, Annapolis & St. Michaels, enjoying short day trips to all. The squirrels, ducks and other wildlife provided enjoyment daily. We weren’t able to take advantage of the dock or cove due to recent surgery, but the view itself is worth the stay.
