Great Getaway

Wonderful cottage right on the water. Quiet walkable neighborhood. We had a delightful weekend getaway. Would definitely return to this sweet little spot.

It’s hard to say what was better the location or dealing with Karl. It rained 3 out of 4 days we were there but because of location we still totally enjoyed ourselves. Cottage was comfortable and very nice on the inside as far as cottages go. Karl was very attentive and responded quickly. For the next who stay there the kitchen light switch is behind the coffee maker LOL Karl thank you again will defiantly come back.

End of Summer Getaway

Just a beautiful place for some rest and relaxation. Thoroughly enjoyed just sitting on the beach and soaking up the sun. Looking forward to returning again!!

This was a great property in a GREAT location. It is as advertised. The cottage was clean and the perfect size for our family. Easy access to the beach (that wasn't overcrowded) was great. Sitting on the deck throughout the day was absolutely peaceful and relaxing.

Great stay. Beautiful view of the water. Close to grocery store and other takeout restaurants. Residence is sound proof, but very close to other properties. Shared beach front. We brought out 1 year old and he loved it. I would book it again!

Beautiful!

The ocean front view is amazing! I loved waking up the sound of the ocean and having the deck too. Clean and Perfect for kids. There is a small jetti which kept my 8 year old busy most of the time! Great communication with owner. I would certainly rent again.

Wonderful week

My husband brought our 2 kids (3 and 1) for a few days to get some covid friendly beach time. Location is fantastic, short 30 min drive to the aquarium and Mystic. Amenities were great and the house and beach were perfect.

Super cute cottage on the beach! Loved sitting on the back deck enjoying the ocean view. Owners were very responsive and easy to communicate with. Check in was a breeze.

We sat on the deck for over 4 hours drinking coffee and couldn’t have been happier. Great stay and hard to leave.

Our stay was The best! Being able to look out at the water was one of my favorite things to do. The cottage itself was well equipped and very comfortable I would certainly be staying there again

Perfect Vacation Getaway

We had such a great week in the Viola Cottage enjoying the beach, the fishing, and the great surrounding restaurants. The cottage is nicely furnished and everyone slept well with the sound of the water. This is a definite return vacation. Owners were very pleasant. Alice P.

Perfect beach house for a family vacation

My sister and I and our two sons had a wonderful time here. The kids loved playing on the beach and it was perfect being able to sit on the balcony with our coffee and watch them. The cottage had all the amenities we needed to have a comfortable stay. We enjoyed Lobster Rolls from Lobster Landing (ordered out and brought them back to the beach house), perfect! The location is great, One day we walked through downtown Mystic (just a half hour away) and ate at Mystic Pizza and another day we drove into New Haven (again just a half hour drive) and toured Yale. On top of that Clinton had all the shops we needed. Most of the time though we stayed in the cottage or on the beach, the weather was lovely and the beach house was bright and comfy. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone.

Perfect!

This is a wonderful property! House is perfectly maintained and decorated! The location is close to everything and yet right on the water. Couldn't have been happier for our mom's get away. Thank you Karl for a perfect weekend.
