Absolute Oceanfront Quintessential Kiwi Bach

Pequeño pero ordenado frente a la playa en posiblemente la mejor carretera de la playa de Waihi. Nada entre nuestra casa y la hermosa playa de Waihi. Gran surf y natación. Despierta con el sol naciente sobre el agua.

Es un paseo de 200 metros a lo largo de la playa hasta Flat White Cafe en un solo sentido y a 5 minutos a pie del pueblo, donde hay muchas tiendas y restaurantes excelentes.

Una gran sección plana con todo lo necesario para unas vacaciones relajantes.

La casa, aunque pequeña, tiene todo lo que necesita con una chimenea abierta en invierno y una gran terraza expansiva en verano.

Extras: limpieza (obligatorio, NZ $ 100.00 por estancia); Ropa de cama (opcional, NZ $ 50. 00 por estadía);

Amazing stay!

We came to Waihi in the winter from the States to visit family here. We chose this location for its unique architecture and beach access. It did not disappoint. A great place to stay anytime of year.

The property is brilliantly located end comprehensively equipped. The host/owner was very helpful throughout the whole process. All queries (however stupid!) were answered immediately.We all had an unforgettable week at Waihi Beach, made special by the accommodation.

Stunning Views

We loved to stay 8 days in the house. We come every year to Waihi Beach and this new house is the best. The layout of the house is special, with a extra deck in the back of the house with stil Ocean views. The big sliding doors make it very nice when wind blowing we could stil enjoy the Ocean view. We would be very happy to rent again next year.

Location, location, location!

Myself and my husband stayed here for a week and just loved it. The beach is just behind the rock you see in the picture and is fairly easily accessible do to the placement of large flatish rocks that can be used as steps (59 years old lady with arthritic hip speaking). Walking along the beach was an utter joy, we have never seen such a clean empty(ish) beach with lots of shells to look at (especially at the far end). We used this bach as a base to do many 3-5 km walks in the local area and of which Karangahake gorge was our favorite. The bach itself has two bedrooms with comfy beds in the main building and then there were 2 further bedrooms in separate additional buildings. The deck area was large and go the sun all day, but you could find shade too. We loved sitting at the dining room during the evening and watching the waves break (after cleaning the windows that face the sea which got understandably salted up from the breeze from the sea!). The kitchen is small but works well, the bathroom was also fine. would we stay here again? YES WE WOULD!

the pictures must be rather old and so is the house in the interior. For this price, it was really a surprise what we got...

Classic beachfront kiwi bach

We had a wonderful ten day stay in this comfortable classic kiwi bach. The location is superb, right beside the beach and close to both Flat White cafe and town. The configuration of the bedrooms is a little unusual (two rooms with a bed each inside the main house and then two separate sleep outs with a total of three beds in them) but it does provide flexibility and all the beds were comfortable. The kitchen is small but really has everything you need, including a dishwasher, small stove top oven, microwave, blender and a full sized fridge freezer. There are bean bags, a BBQ and a sun umbrella for outside, and body boards for the beach. There are no beach towels or fans available, although most of the rooms get a good sea breeze so stay cool at night. A great spot for a summer break!

Perfect spot

We had such a lovely time here. It helped the weather was perfect. Step off property onto beach for surfing and boogie boarding. This batch is perfect for a summer holiday and has everything you need. There is a bench top oven so don’t bring a huge roast but I managed to cook a pre-Xmas lunch in it with the help of the bbq. Beds are very comfy. Would defn come again, small but loads of room with extra bedrooms in garage etc.

House on Beach Front

Great location with stunning views. The house was compact but well equipped. We had a lovely time and would definitely return. The owner was very easy to deal with.

Cute older Bach - has everything you possibly need. Cannot top the location - that view is spectacular. Owners easy to deal with - really lovely.

Great spot

The perfect old school kiwi holiday. Has everything you need and a really comfortable place to stay. However the best thing is the location which you cant beat. Even on a rainy day it's enjoyable to be inside and still enjoy the great view. Will be back to stay again!

Fantastic Beachfront Location

This little bach was perfect for our family. Beachfront living meant that we could surf, do yoga on the deck, take walks on the beach and play a game of soccer on the grass after dinner while only steps from the ocean. The continuous sound of the waves is so relaxing and mesmerizing. I highly recommend this classic rustic bach.

We bought a tiny house in 2018 and rebuilt during 2021 having always dreamt of being right on the beach.

Waking to the sound of waves is magic and the house has everything you need. We love it. There is ample space to play games on the front, lie in the shade, escape the onshore breezes in the courtyard area and still be watching the see. The attention to detail in the design of this holiday home is second to none (not to mention the best outdoor shower area ever!)
