Neil Bay Waterfront Retreat - Pet Friendly Paradise
Welcome to your serene escape on Neil Bay, where nature meets comfort. This pet-friendly waterfront property offers exclusive access to a private mooring buoy for your larger boat, plus a dock perfect for tying up dinghies and kayaks. Please note: access to the home is via a steep staircase.
Inside, the expansive great room features floor-to-ceiling windows framing breathtaking views of Spieden Channel. Watch wildlife roam freely and marvel at Spieden Island across the water-a mysterious, uninhabited 550-acre haven known for its exotic tales and sightings of non-native animals, including Corsican big horn sheep and Asian Fallow deer. These creatures have peacefully grazed here, untouched by hunting for over two decades.
Step out onto the spacious deck with ample seating to soak in the natural beauty. The open-concept living area includes a modern kitchen with bar seating, a dining space, and cozy lounge with a propane fireplace and smart TV. Kitchen amenities include a waffle maker, toaster, and popcorn machine. Outdoor cooking is a breeze with a propane BBQ and crab cooker, and yard games like cornhole add to the fun.
Stay connected with high-speed broadband internet. Electric vehicle owners are welcome to use the 14-50 outlet (bring your own connector).
Sleeping arrangements include:
" Loft Master Suite: King bed with an alcove twin bed for a child, plus a spacious full bath
" Second Bedroom: Queen bed
" Third Bedroom: Two twin beds
" Second Full Bathroom: Located downstairs

Roche Harbor Resort, Marina, and Airport are just a 25-minute walk through scenic wooded trails or a quick 5-minute drive. Resort amenities include a full-service spa, whale watching and kayak tours, three restaurants, a marina, swimming pool, and a renowned sculpture park. You'll also enjoy easy access to the Mausoleum, trails, and nearby Westcott Bay Oyster Farm.

The house was wonderful in every aspect and was perfect for six of us. I have stayed in many VRBOs, and this was definitely a 10 out of 10. Communication with our host was excellent, the amenities were as described, the location near Roche Harbor was convenient, the view beautiful! I hope to return one day!

Wonderful Escape

Beautiful property in a great location. We loved sitting on the deck and watching the otters in the water. We even saw whales from the dock one morning. The property was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful views in a quiet setting

The property was perfect for our family with plenty of space and nicely appointed. It was nice to have access to the dock for a beautiful water view. We’d love to come back some day.

The property is wonderful: great views of Neil Bay, quiet, lots of privacy, yet still close to Roche Harbor resort and other attractions (e.g., hiking trails). The house has a wonderful great room with floor to ceiling windows and wooden, vaulted ceilings. Kitchen is well equipped. This is our second visit to this property; we will be back!

You cannot go wrong!

Beautiful location for a family vacation! Home had a beautiful view, right on the water - lots of wildlife sightings. Great place to recharge, well appointed kitchen and easy access to Roche Harbor. Enjoyed exploring the many wonderful trails. Highly recommend.

The house is nice with a beautiful view. I rated it four stars because the drive to the house has huge potholes, the fireplace is worthless, and the amenities list a pool (that is not on the purport).

Lovely retreat

Such a lovely spot for relaxation and beautiful views. The host was wonderful with excellent communication. The home was spacious, had a well stocked kitchen (which I loved) and has a spacious deck to really take in the fresh air and water views. We enjoyed walks to Roche Harbor and exploring the island and all it's beautiful attractions.

View of the water was fabulous and setting was very tranquil. The living room/kitchen/dining was open and a wonderful place to gather. The kitchen is well stocked, but need a few more wine glasses. The fireplace had a pretty minimal flame and we had difficulty operating the tv. Karen was very responsive. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this house.

Great spot for our family. Very private with great views of bay and island across channel. Minutes from Roche or Friday Harbors activities. Otters in bay were a bonus.
