Welcome to Blue Water Retreat!
Imagine making memories with your family and friends in a quiet, secluded setting, with a peaceful stroll along 300 ft of your own private, pristine Lake Michigan beach front. Share campfire stories as you roast marshmallows under an open starry night sky. Bask in the seclusion of a woodland paradise, while relishing in quality time with those you hold most dear.
Beautiful family get-away perfectly set on approximately 11 acres of wooded peace and quiet with the added bonus of 300’ of pristine Lake Michigan beach. Nicely situated approximately 1 mile off the main road on a winding private drive of pines and hardwoods. The upstairs has an open concept living area with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Family room has a new 74” smart tv. Kitchen has a dish washer and is nicely stocked. House has heat and air conditioning along with a gas fireplace. The lower level family room also has a 74” smart tv. Game room area has a pool table and plenty of board games, puzzles, cards and books to keep all ages busy on those rainy days! There is a bedroom with a queen size bed plus a double size bunk bed located on this level. A new Queen size sleeper sofa will accommodate 2 more guests. There is also a full bathroom on the lower level. This lower level has a walk out to the beach and a cozy fire pit . We have a pack n play with memory foam mattress and high chair for any little ones. All towels, bedding and pillows included. A washer and dryer is located on the main level. House will accommodate 10-12 people.

We had an absolutely phenomenal time from start to finish! The home and property are spectacular. We appreciated all the thoughtful amenities that were included. We traveled with 5 little kids who thoroughly enjoyed the lower level with all the toys and games and they loved the kids bedroom with the starry ceiling lights. The beach toys were greatly appreciated as we spent the majority of our heavenly 10 days down on the beautiful beach. The road to get to the cabin is a bit long and “rustic”, but that’s a tiny price to pay for the literal heaven that awaits you. We cannot wait to return next summer!

This is a view I would NEVER get tired of.

As advertised, this is a private and gorgeous waterfront home with direct beach access to Lake Michigan. House was clean as a pin and tastefully decorated. Beach had sugar soft sand and lake water was crystal clear. The inside and outside of the house was stocked with all the amenities needed for a fun, comfortable stay for all ages. There was plenty of room to spread out. We especially enjoyed the pool table, as well as the large deck which could have comfortably accommodated a dozen people. Joni was attentive and promptly responded to every inquiry we had. We loved our stay!

2 Words - Private Beach

We stayed at this rental June 21-27 for a family vacation. My daughter graduated high school and wanted to see Lake Michigan and we were lucky to find this gem! 8 of us total age ranges 43-12 and it was great for all of us. The lake water was too cold for adults but the kids didn’t care. Kayaks and billiards were a huge hit. The beach is amazing and quiet and private. No fighting for space or crawling through crowds like at FL. We read, we fished, we played games and we slept! The house was so clean and nice and stocked with everything you need, from paper towels and TP, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothpaste, to life vests and beach towels, toys…literally all the things! I way overpacked! We didn’t want to leave at all. The drive back to the house is long but that didn’t bother us at all. The views and the short walk to the water was worth long stretch of road to get there. If I was changing anything it would be the dates we visited, the weather was hit or miss with the temperatures, I could have gone for about 10 degrees warmer. We look forward to visiting again!

Spectacular Living

Seven sisters gathered once again to celebrate each other. This place was absolutely spectacular. We loved the indoor space and were wowed by the beauty of the beach. We are grateful to have the ability to enjoy each other's company surrounded by such natural beauty.

Great Place to Unplug

Host was very prompt with responding. The morning sunrises by the lake shore were beautiful and the peacefulness was greatly appreciated. This is a fantastic place to get away from busy schedules and unwind. We would definitely return in the future.

Peaceful Retreat

What a wonderful property! The property is right on the beach and very secluded. We watched the beautiful sunrises every morning. Everything you need is here. We love the area and enjoyed the near by day trips to Pictured Rocks, Mackinac Island and Kitch-iti-kipi. We would definitely recommend this property.

Loved our time here. Such a beautiful stay right on northern lake michigan. An hour from picture rock lake shore and 1.5 hrs from ferri to maxkinac island.

Beautiful Beach

Before I arrived, Joni answered all of my questions within minutes. All of the appliances and outdoor grill are new and high quality. The beach is beautiful and easy to play in or just walk. The house is very secluded. The internet is fast! Television has lots of options. It is everything we expected!

Beautiful lake front in UP

The property is gorgeous with a stunning view of the lake. The host has all accommodations: kayaks, life jackets, beach toys, beach chairs, etc. the host was very prompt with all questions. We loved staying at this property and our 7 and 5 year old boys loved it too.

Truly a Gem on Lake Michigan

This beautiful home has so much to offer. Incredible expansive sandy beach, quiet wooded property with lovely landscaping, beautiful sunrises, kayaking, and is loaded with amenities, We enjoyed bonfires every night while watching the sunset over Lake Michigan, witnessed a bald eagle soar over the beach, saw a spectacular full double rainbow over the lake after a rainstorm, and countless deer in the area. The property is so beautiful, I was able to capture so many wonderful senior pictures for my HS senior. The home was clean, kitchen fully stocked, and all bathroom / laundry / kitchen essentials were provided. The host was very courteous and responded quickly to messages. I can't wait to return to this gem!

A Lake Michigan Diamond!

Sandy Beach, kayaking, Spectacular sunrises and sunsets. The view of Lake Michigan is amazing. The home is beautiful, clean and spacious. You can’t beat it. Everyone had a fantastic time! This is a fantastic vacation getaway! Thank you Joni!
