A two bedroom one bath with a pull out couch. Private off road parking The house was remodeled and has a great yard with an awesome view over looking the harbor and Lake Superior.

This was My Mom and Dad’s house. We put a lot into the house and want it cared for the way we think it should.This is why we have a no dogs and kids between the ages of three and ten. Sorry about this but we have your reasons it’s not that we don’t like dogs or kids. That’s not it. We are doing no less than six night stays.
We hope you stay with us and love The View as much as our family.

The location was perfect. House was clean and worked well for our families. Wi-Fi was not working, but not really needed in a town like Grand Marais.

Fabulous location

This is a fabulous location. Awesome view of the lake and lighthouse. Walking distance to everything. Very clean and well stocked. Only issue is no washer or dryer despite listing indicating there was and no outdoor fireplace although it says there is one on the paper in the house. The locks on the doors are a bit tricky. None of that is a deal breaker. Overall great place and would rent again.

Beautiful Home, Great Location

Our family of four adult children stayed here during the Fisherman’s Picnic. The location was right near the heart of the celebration with beautiful views of the harbor. The owner offered us an early check in as the home was ready. It was stocked with everything we needed! The large living area accommodated more of us for board games. We highly recommend this rental for your next North Shore getaway.

Scenic view

We have stayed at many properties in Grand Marais over the past 50 years and was very happy at this home. The view was amazing both from inside and outside of the Grand Marais Harbor. The living room/dining area was huge and great for family gathering. We found everything we needed for our week long stay and communication with Mickey was great. Highly recommend this home.

Awesome North Shore Experience

We came up for the Le Grand Du Nord race. The property is right along the finish line of the race. It is walkable to everywhere in town including Java Moose, and Voyageur brewing which is right behind the property. Open floor plan in the kitchen and living room made it easy for our group to gather over meals and activities. We loved our stay and will be returning again!

Perfect Location

This house is in a perfect location in GM! We walked all over and enjoyed the view of the lake. The house is cozy and clean and had everything we needed. We contacted the host once with a question and he was gracious and charming and funny. Would recommend and stay here again.

Relaxing lake views

The house was clean and spacious. It was obvious the hosts had thought about what guests might need. We had a comfortable and relaxing vacation and particularly enjoyed the lake view and how easy it was to walk everywhere in town.

Grand Marais get away

We enjoyed the long weekend in Grand Marais. The house was very nice and it has a gorgeous view of the harbor and Lake Superior. Walking distance to almost anywhere you might want to go in town. The only complaint was the utensils in the kitchen for cooking was lacking.

Great spot in the hear of Grand Marais

Very clean, well equipped, and nicely updated. Spacious great room and the view is fantastic. Close to everything Grand Marais has to offer. Mickey was great and very responsive.

We loved it here! Highly recommend. It was a great location, beautiful view, well kept home and it was overall a great experience! Communication was easy and quick, check in was easy, and we felt comfortable the whole trip. Would stay again.
