You’ll enjoy a vaulted ceiling with inset lighting, a balcony, and plenty of windows for ocean light. Downstairs, another living room has a twin bed, and an additional queen bedroom has its own TV. The fully equipped kitchen and dining area can serve the whole crew. A covered porch with chairs and a fenced side yard with a built-in fire pit give you outdoor gathering spaces; if your plans include time playing on the beach or surfing, an outdoor shower lets you rinse off with ease.

Pacific City has plenty to do: the beach at Cape Kiwanda houses the Pelican Pub and upscale Meridian Restaurant, with magnificent Haystack Rock looming out of the waves. Walk south to Bob Straub State Park and the mouth of the Nestucca River, climb a dune or explore tidepools. You can drive south to Lincoln City’s many activities, including the Chinook Winds Casino, or north to Tillamook Creamery and the rest of the North Coast.
