Beautifully decorated five bedroom three bathroom home on newly landscaped lot. The grounds are a just under two acres beautiful mature oak trees and perfectly manicured lawn.Very large heated hot tub located on a spacious screened porch that spans the entire width of the home . Watching the sunset over the lake is breath taking and spectacular. The dock has a covered boat house with the beach area to the right. Simply put i have included a panoramic video that tell the entire story and reveals the upscale detail and care in the decor.
the bathrooms are completely updated with new appliances kitchen cabinets and counter top. New beautiful Wolf gas range . Dining area separate living room and more see our drone video under description scroll down to video .

Serenity on Lake June Review

Excellent location, great communications with the host, the house is well stocked with kitchen and paper products, and clean. The rental was perfect for our team to relax after a long day at the race track. We would love to come back!

We worked very well with the renter in describing the property for additional sleeping arrangements . We were very flexible in renting the home for a five day rental given there need and tight time frame . We normally have a one week minimum . We have pressure cleaned all areas of the large patio to make sure the home was perfect . Small issues were addressed that we pointed out to us . All had a wonderful stay this year .

Perfect Vacation

This property is fantastic in many ways . The sunset is absolutely gorgeous sitting on the covered dock. Several acres of well manicured lawn and many shade trees. The interior of the home has all high end appliances . Leather sectionals in two rooms for private time or simply relaxing. The home was very clean I had no issues with carpets or lights . It boasts a very large master bedroom and bathroom suite . It has an open floor plan and very large eat in kitchen and dining area. The hosts were very easy to get along with and gracious in every way . I will be spending three and half weeks in summer with my family. Lots of lake for our boat and the property has a large dock and big sand beach .The large screened patio has ample seating along with the hot tub is very nice . We thoroughly enjoyed this property and look forward to our next vacation. Thanks Natasha

Total Filth

This is the filthiest home I have ever stayed in. The toilet seats were stained, urine on the sides of the toilets, dirty underwear left in a bathroom, trash on the floors of the kids room, dog hair matted into the master bedroom comforter, sand in the sheets of multiple beds, old food left in the refrigerator. I booked this home for three nights for Memorial Day weekend, the owner confirmed my reservation request. A month before we were set to arrive he called me and harassed me that the home had a 5 night minimum and I needed to cancel or extend our stay. Then he had VRBO call me and ask the same. I don’t know if he left the place that nasty because he was irritated about the 3 night stay, either way do not stay here. The location was great and the view is beautiful, but that’s the only positive of this home. I don’t think he actually has it cleaned in between guests. Book with caution, I wish I could add pictures.

Wedding weekend

When we arrived first thing we noticed was absolute filthy, room carpets and several bathrooms with no working lightbulbs and filthy bath mats. The master bath had not one working light above vanity. Went to grab paper towels to clean up bugs and there weren't any. The closets in each bedroom had stuff all over the floors , almost as if someone was living in the closet, one closet only had one door, the other was missing. The patio furniture was so dirty you couldn't use it and there were small ants everywhere in the kitchen. We called the host immediately about carpet and lights and yes he did send his cleaning girl out the following morning. She replaced a few light bulbs that ended up not working in the fixture. They sent someone out to clean the carpets, the smell was so strong we couldn't go back to the house for hours. We took pictures to document it all as we have never stayed in a place so poorly maintained. The house has great potential, but for the price there are so many more on the lake.

Long Stay

This property would be great for a weekend stay. We were there for about a month so I’m trying to be fair based on that. The landscaping and yard are awesome. Nice large outside space and can’t beat the view. Inside has started to be updated. One bathroom wasn’t really useable because there were no blinds or shower curtain. The master bathroom door was broken so can’t use it, no blind on the window but I was able to sort of block the view from the neighbors from the outside. The master needs nightstands next to the bed, there are none which is kind of awkward. All the toilets had been updated but the master for some reason. The den area with the tv really needs to be lowered. You are looking way up at it to watch anything and it would be nice if there were a couple of movie channels. Not a big deal if it’s a short stay though. The grill was filthy but we cleaned it and filled up the propane tanked. One of the dishwasher is not secured. Falls forward if you pull out the racks to load it. You can just use the other one though. My guess is this is still being renovated and will be great once completed. I wouldn’t have paid the rate I did if I had known there were still many things incomplete.

I am very happy that the guest had a good time on there vacation . We are very responsive in rectifying any problems that may arise . We have fixed the problem areas sited on this review . The bathroom door is a pocket Door which came off the track and was reseated after we were made aware of the problem. There is a spare cylinder of gas however it is difficult to predict when it will go empty ? Night stands were in the room but seemingly were put in another location . There are two dishwashers and the 2 dishwasher was secured however all worked well as they are new . The kitchen is high end with a very nice wolf oven and gas burners this is also evident through out the home . We have never had any complaints about the height of the TV in past year . Simply put had we known of any issues they would have been addressed promptly especially having stayed an entire month . Thanks For you feedback

Bigger is not always better

This property was beautiful and spacious. There were a few things that we were unprepared for though. The ac on 1 side of the house wasn’t working, but the owners father did get that fixed. Toward the end of the stay that ac was leaking water in the living room. That ac filter was caked with dust so we changed it. The ac’s don’t really keep the house cool during the day. The couch in the game/family room was not clean and the floors underneath weren’t either. The fridge in the garage was not cold, cool at best but not enough to really get drinks or keep food cold. The bathroom by the kitchen needs a half wall or curtain to contain the water from the shower otherwise you are mopping up water after a shower. The bricks on the back patio have fallen into the ground and the ones lining the door to the lake are loose and prevent fully closing the patio door. The pathway to the lake is really steep and not recommend for people who struggle walking or keeping balance. The lights flicker when you run the dryer or when the ac kicks on. The stove needs the lights replaced and 1 burner constantly clicks after you light it. The garbage disposal in the left sink doesn’t work. We were plunging the sink to get it to drain. We didn’t try the second dishwasher to know if it works or not. Master bathroom needs an updated toilet seat. I would recommend a roomba or iRobot for renters to use at night. The hot tub needs tending as it didn’t smell like chemicals were in it when we arrived. The boat lift didn’t work and the bottom 2 steps going into the lake are broken from the dock. This definitely wasn’t worth the money we paid, but we made the best of it. Hopefully this issues will get resolved and future renters will enjoy their stay.

Lake house fun!

We had an amazing time at this property. The house is big with space for everyone. The beach and dock provided hours of entertainment for the kids. They fished, snorkeled, paddle boarded Kayaked and watched the most beautiful sunsets! This place has it all. The town is adorable and has everything you need. Thank you for sharing your house, we can’t wait to come back!

Wonderful View

David was very flexible with our stay as a full week wouldn't work for us. The house has some great landscaping and if you want to have a big back yard for everyone to enjoy this is the place. Plenty of space through out so everyone can feel comfortable. highly recommend.

Beautiful home on Lake June

My family rents a house on Lake June in Lake Placid at least once a year. I’d say we’ve been to about eight lake houses in the area over the years and this house has suited us best thus far. We always need five bedrooms and this house had very spacious, lovely rooms. The size of the kitchen was perfect for cooking for the whole family with plenty of seating. We loved the screened in patio with hot tub that kept us free from mosquitos. The yard is to die for, it is beautifully manicured. The sandy beach was perfect for our little ones to play and to drag our boats and water rafts on shore. We had such a good time we even extended our stay an extra night. Dave was very accommodating and we will definitely want to stay here again.

Gorgeous and spacious home!

This house has everything you need for the perfect vacation. We were a family of 8, and the house has everything you need from towels to chairs in the back porch to hang out. The dock has an amazing swing to sit an enjoy a cup of coffee: that was my favorite way to start the day. David was very gentle and always reachable. It was amazing! Definitely we will be back .
