Private, perfect location, comfortable and clean
This location on the golf course is the best in all of Palm Desert. There is a palm tree lined pond just off the patio. It blocks golfers from walking by and prevents direct views of the patio. Our private oasis felt so peaceful for a quiet morning coffee and to watch the sunset at dusk. It’s a sort walk to a pool at which we were the only guests. We brought floaties, margaritas and a speaker. Listening to Jimmy Buffett and chilling made for perfect afternoon. Inside it’s like a brand new house. As I sat in the great room and looked around, I thought to myself “This is exactly how I would have decorated it”. The counter, which separates the kitchen from living room, facilitated a lively game of card. It also was an ideal spot to get caught up on computer work but still feel part of the group. We grilled out on the patio as well as prepared a special dinner in the dining room. The necessary plates, cups, utensils and grilling supplies were all available for both casual dining and an elegant dinner. It’s rare to stay at a place where the beds and pillows are so comfortable. The pull down Murphy bed in the office is a great use of space and the large sofa in the living room was perfect for a nap. It’s located down a quiet street, and a short drive to the Main Street with the shops and restaurants. Following an afternoon at the pool, we hit the happy hours then came home and chatted around the fire pit. It has a top of the line patio set as well a table and chairs. I don’t know what it is about this home, but from the moment I stepped through the door, I felt my shoulders lower, my body relax and the worries of the outside world slip away. I went home calm and recharged and will definitely be back.
