Welcome to our charming 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom beach house that accommodates up to 8 guests with just a 2-minute walk to the pristine shoreline! Perfect for a family vacation or a romantic getaway, this elevated retreat offers stunning ocean views and modern comforts.

**Key Features:**

- **Location:** Enjoy the convenience of being a short walk away from the beach. Our property also provides vehicle access to the beach for easy transportation of beach gear. It also is very near the peninsula’s shops and restaurants.
- **Outdoor Space:** Relax on the spacious wrap-around deck with comfortable seating and a dining area, perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or evening cocktails while soaking in the coastal breeze.
- **Living Area:** The open-concept living room is tastefully furnished with cozy seating, a flat-screen smart TV, and a DVD player and collection creating a welcoming space for relaxation and entertainment. There are board games for family fun and books for relaxing reading.
- **Kitchen:** Fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances, ample counter space, a dining table, and an island with a bar and bar stools, making meal preparation a breeze.

We were very impressed with the house and location to the beach! Communication with the owners was seamless and they were beyond friendly! I definitely recommend if you are planning a trip to Crystal Beach.

Cozy cabin with a great location

This cabin was just what we needed this week. Free to Beach has a great location with a less than 5 minute walk to the beach and close to The Stingaree restaurant. Be sure to catch a sunset on the deck there if you get a chance. Thanks for letting us make memories at your cabin!

The property is great and an awesome location. Unfortunately we were not able to stay because of internet issues. I had a last minute project and there was not internet. I definitely would recommend this place. The host are very attentive and respond to your messages.

As promised!

We were looking for a place to relax on land for a couple days following our cruise and this place was perfect. Easy walk to beach and comfortable deck to relax on. Restaurants and shopping all close. It was the ideal size and configuration for a couple plus 2 additional friends and the kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, glasses, utensils, pans, etc for those lazy vacation breakfasts and snacking. Loved our stay and we are already thinking about our next visit.

Great place to stay

We rented Free to Beach for Father's day and we absolutely loved this property and the managers. They were very friendly and upfront, everything was pretty straightforward. It had everything thing we needed for our weekend and was close enough to the shore that we could walk down. Grill, outdoor shower, ice in the freezer, marshmallow roasting sticks in the drawer, I mean it had everything we needed but food. We will definitely be staying here again. Thank you Jeremy and Courtney!

70th Birthday

Prior to spending the weekend with our entire family(21 total) at a larger VBRO property in Crystal Beach to celebrate my 70th birthday, my wife and booked a 2-night stay at Free to the Beach. I wanted to spend a little time kayak fishing in the bay. Our stay was very relaxing and the house was perfect for us.

Great stay!

We had a great trip to celebrate my daughter‘s 10th birthday! Check in was easy, the house had everything that we needed and the views from the balcony were beautiful! We will definitely be back!

Great beach house

My mom, myself and two teens stayed at Free to Beach for two nights while visiting family down south. The house is super clean and had absolutely everything we needed. It felt big enough for the four of us, especially when we used the ample deck space. The beach is less than five minutes from the house on foot, which is super nice because there is no public parking at any of the beaches on Bolivar Peninsula unless you pay for a parking pass (I think it was $10). It was really fun to get up in the morning and walk on the beach when it was quiet and be able to visit the ocean anytime we wanted. Sunsets were glorious. I really have nothing but glowing remarks for the property. I would have loved to have been able to recycle, but sadly that doesn’t seem to be a priority in Texas. Crystal Beach has a different feel with people being able to drive and park on the sand, music blaring and sometimes exhibiting some obnoxious behavior like driving too fast, lots of litter left at the end of the day, etc. There was fantastic birdwatching on the back side of the island. Lots of new developments going into that marsh, so hopefully the full time residents on the island will work to keep parts of it wild. Bolivar Peninsula is not as commercial as Galveston, but it seems like it’s growing very quickly.

Great Place to Stay

This place was a great place to stay, the communication with the owners was great. It was a nice get-a-way and we loved it was so close to the beach. If you forgot something, there is a store with quite a variety to choose from. We would recommend this place for those wanting to get away and be close to the beach!
