Property was as expected with the renovations done well.
However, the carpets in the kitchen and living room were very worn and not clean.
We actually rolled up the kitchen carpet and put it in the spare room as it was much better without it. I would recommend not even having the carpet under the table if it doesn’t get cleaned on a regular basis.
We did have an issue with the a/c that took 6 days to resolve. Unfortunately, the weather really heated up and made the condo very uncomfortable. Finally on day 3 they brought over a portable unit to install in the bedroom which helped with sleeping. The communication with OranjPalm and the a/c company was lacking. We had to keep calling to get updates and were not treated well from the a/c company. The a/c unit was finally fixed on day 6 and the rest of our stay was comfortable.
We also were never informed when we checked in that we could have an option to rebook for next year on or about the middle of our stay. Unfortunately we lost the opportunity to come back next year as the property has already been booked.
We were hoping that we would have been offered some form of compensation for being without air conditioning for 6 days but were informed that they do not offer such compensation.
