The Magical Pied Piper Ranch is one of the most breathtaking properties on the unspoiled Central California coast. An updated, spacious, 4,700 square foot, English Cottage style villa, perched atop 160 acres of lush rolling hills surrounded by pristine beauty. Wonderful and completely private, with gorgeous views from every room. The home itself has been professionally updated, for maximum comfort and enjoyment

The beautiful home is located on 160 acres on the pristine California coast. Gorgeous views of the rolling hills of Cambria and San Simeon from most every room.
You will feel as if you have entered another world when you arrive at The Pied Piper Ranch.
The home has been professionally designed with an emphasis on California Casual Chic. From the moment you open the front door, you’ll be hit by a warm and fuzzy feeling as behold the lovingly curated collection of furnishings and art.
Numerous spaces to cozy up with family and friends. Or sprawl out in the open concept gourmet kitchen and relax.
Home includes a game room complete with antique bar, game table, pool table and a flat screen TV. Perfect to entertain family and friends.
There are numerous hidden gems in the house. In addition you can bask in the sun on the brand new 1,000 square foot deck and enjoy dinner with friends and loved ones, under the gorgeous outdoor, four season pergola. After dinner, grab a big glass of Central California red (or white) wine and take a bath in the massive master bathroom. After dinner and your bath, refill your wine and take a seat on the deck to enjoy the peace, serenity and incredible quiet and thousands of stars in the night sky. In the morning grab a cup of fresh brewed coffee and take a walk or go for a hike before breakfast.


Guest Access
Guests have access to the entire home and outdoor spaces. There is a small farm with cows, donkeys & goats, guests are welcome to visit with them.

Other Things to Note
This estate home is located on a beautiful rural property. Although within close proximity to the famed beaches of the central coast, it’s best to have a car to get you there. It’s well worth the trip.

Note: We have ranch dogs named Coda & Piper that protects the goats & the property. They are extremely friendly & loves people & other dogs.

We had a phenomenal stay at Pied Piper Ranch for the Thanksgiving weekend. The property is tucked in the hills of Cambria and San Simeon and has breathtaking views and farm animals (goats, cows, and donkeys) to give you the ultimate central coast and central California experience.Mary was extremely good with communication and the property has all the amenities a group needs to have fun and to enjoy together.You're close to Highway 1, the town of Cambria, and Hearst Castle. For those looking to enjoy the wineries of Paso Robles - it's only 45-50 minutes away.We highly recommend and look forward to reserving this property in the future and coming back again.

Family weekend get-a-way

A great property to enjoy the beautiful California hills. The house was perfect for our needs. We made the trip to visit Hearst Castle and enjoy some extended family time. It was fun to feed the goats and sheep and see the cows!

Outstanding Visit

my entire family stayed here for 7 days. Everyone had their own space and the place was absolutely gorgeous. The location is close to the beach, Hearst Castle, Elephant Seals, San Luis Obispo and Morro Bay. Gorgeous evenings out by the firepit and the animals were very fun for the kids to feed and explore the surroundings. The owner was very responsive.

Hidden beach canyon get-away

Beautiful rustic setting close enough to the beach to enjoy a walk on the beach but remote enough to enjoy the local wildlife and farms. Awesome game room!

Family Get Away

We chose this property for the central location, it was perfect for the family to meet up. This property had everything we needed with plenty of room for the family to spread out or be together. We had some fabulous meals cooking in the large well stocked kitchen. We all enjoyed feeding the goats and sheep and walking the property. We hope to return again soon!

Wonderful house in idyllic location

Such a great experience! The house was beautiful and perfectly met the needs of our group. We spent a lot of time cooking and gathering around the table for family time. We didn't want to leave. Saw lots of wildlife (turkeys, frogs, turtles, bats, squirrels, birds, etc.). And we had a good time interacting with the donkeys. Will definitely be booking a return trip soon!

The most perfect wedding at the Pied Piper Ranch

We chose the Pied Piper Ranch as the venue for our wedding reception and it couldn’t have been more perfect! It is the most picturesque property and was the dreamiest location to share our love with our family and friends. I got ready in the beautiful main bedroom that served as a glamorous bridal suite, while my husband got ready in the coolest man cave billiard room! There was ample space for all of our friends to stay with us. The outdoor areas were so perfect for our intimate wedding reception. Every detail of this property is so perfectly and beautifully designed to make a gorgeous home set on a relaxing property. Just a short distance from Moonstone Beach Drive, the ranch allows you to experience the beauty of the beach and the rolling hills all in one trip. Mary was an incredible host and was always so quick to respond to the many inquiries I had throughout my wedding planning journey. She was so accommodating and even allowed us to tour the property ahead of our stay. We cannot wait to return to the Pied Piper Ranch and reminisce on the love that was shared on this beautiful property!

Country Cambria

Great place to stay! Comfy beds, beautifully decorated and close to Cambria activities. Quiet and secluded but just a short drive to the ocean. Really was a great place for 4 families and 2 children to stay and sleep. Minor MINOR complaints were there didn't seem to be any instructions on how to get in Wifi and there is absolutely NO cell reception at the Pied Piper without WiFi. No worries. We had a tour scheduled at Hearst Castle so I texted the owner who promptly got back to us there were indeed directions for WiFi in the kitchen. When we got back to the house, other friends were already there and had begun tearing the house apart looking for the WiFi password. Again nothing. They then drove into town and texted the owner as one guest had an ill mother she was checking on. Turns out the directions were ON THE BACK of the checkout instructions which were jammed between the kitchen tile and the wall. We never once considered looking on the back because it looked like the instructions were affixed to the wall. Minor but ended up being a big pain for us all. I suggest printing out a check in AND separate check out list to avoid this in the future. Knives were not sharp so we could barely cut our meat we had cooked on the BBQ. Besides that just a great place to stay!

Loved our stay at Pied Piper Ranch

Had a great time at this beautiful property! Enjoyed hanging out in the pub, shooting pool, and enjoying the views on the deck. The house is so beautiful, like one you'd see in a magazine. We also loved visiting with the animals. The only bad part was that we had to leave.

Relaxing spot

This place was a great getaway for the family. The hosts were very communicative and friendly. When we had questions during our stay, they were able to help quickly. The location is great, but if you're heading to Hearst Castle for a tour, I would add additional time, since the road can be windy and sometimes bumpy. The place itself was clean and well equipped for us to stay. It was really relaxing to hangout around the house and outside, after getting back from going around town. It is very secluded and quiet, and we were able to enjoy a nice glass of wine before the sun sets. I'm not sure if this is in the hosts control, but when we were trying to stargaze, there were some bats flying around at night, which scared the family to go back inside. Just sharing for other guests to be aware, if you're out in the backyard at night. Thanks for an amazing stay!

Perfect weekend getaway!

Incredible stay with beautiful views

Wow cannot praise this property enough. We hosted our small wedding reception here and it was just beautiful. Mary was really accommodating. The home is done so tastefully. There is a game and men's den room rustic property views, beautiful open kitchen . It's even better than in photos if that's even possible. The master bath is the size of a bedroom itself and so exquisite. Most importantly we loved the hospitality of our hosts. Would definitely visit again!

Wow! Memorable stay

The Pied Piper Ranch is an original and special place to hold an event. Our guests could not stop gushing over the craftsmanship of the house and beautiful property surrounding. Green rolling hills, ranch animals and gorgeous interior design. The house has character with a game room den, patio deck with views and large kitchen for cooking. Mary is a warm and accommodating host who went out of her way to make our stay memorable. She communicates well, touring you on the property and is available for any questions about the house or local area.

Great Family Gathering Farmhouse

The farmhouse is very spacious with a large kitchen/family room for gathering; pool table room/game room for everyone of all ages and a beautiful outside deck to just sit & enjoy the beauty of the surrounding hills.

Beautiful setting, disappointing amenities and supplies.

This was a beautiful setting and special property to have our family and extended family together for Thanksgiving weekend. Lovely places to gather and relax at different times of the day! Gorgeous view from the deck. The kitchen is beautiful and looked to be perfect space for our gathering together, but if you are looking to actually cook for more than a couple people forget it! This kitchen was not well supplied and ivery unorganized... t was a multiple person treasure hunt to find anything you were looking for! The pots and pans that were available were sticky and dirty. Because of the price we expected to have quality supplies here and we were SO disappointed and frustrated with the actual kitchen supplies. Basic cleanliness, lightbulbs out, etc made it lacking a bit. Aside from all that we still had a nice stay. The goats and steer and donkeys were super fun and delicious apples in the small orchard! We hoped to meet the sweet dog Cali, but she was locked in the chicken coup for our whole stay! Mary answered all our questions and brought over new coffee grinder since it was missing, and led us to the first aid kit when my son cut his hand open trying to use the dysfunctional can opener. Overall a fine stay but needs some basic improvements before we would stay here again.

Secluded and exclusive getaway

The property is well taken care of and tastefully decorated. We met up with family and friends to celebrate a birthday. We cooked all meals in the house and enjoyed the big kitchen. We enjoyed walks on the property, games in the game room and visits with the animals. The beautiful weather allowed us to sit outside for all meals. What a view from the deck! It was also important to us that our dogs were welcome.
