Zilker Guesthouse In the Most Walkable Austin Neighborhood!
We welcome you to Austin and the Zilker neighborhood! We are in walking distance to amenities such as Zilker Park (1/2 mile walk), Barton Springs Pool (natural spring fed pool) and so many music venues, bars and restaurants (including Uchi, Loro and the original Chuy's) you could spend months enjoying them all. Downtown Austin is a short bike ride, scooter or Uber/Lyft ride away. If you run or walk, Lady Bird Lake and the full 11 mile trail are only 1/2 mile away.
The guesthouse is well equipped for a long stay or just a long weekend away.
The home is set up to sleep four very comfortably, the downstairs bedroom has a comfy queen bed (Westin Heavenly mattress) with bright white linens and cozy decorations. The upstairs bedroom has a luxe king bed with an Avocado Green mattress. The upstairs is a private bedroom and full bath while the downstairs bedroom utilizes the shared full bath. The home has even been host to a few longer stays so the kitchen is well equipped. There is also an awesome wood deck outside with seating area for coffee or cocktails. There is also a picnic table for alfresco dining or games.
Please note, we are in a residential neighborhood and my family lives in the front house. Please keep the noise to a minimum during the 10pm to 8 am hours.
No pets.
No smoking of any kind on the property.
No parties at the home.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial
Being in the neighborhood and tucked into the back of our lot enables the guesthouse to be quiet and suburban while the location being two blocks from South Lamar makes it super convenient to some of the best restaurants in town with a very urban feel. We are just up the hill from Zilker Park and Barton Springs Pool, both iconic to Austin.
