Second stay in Waxhaw

The property is very clean and well kept. The owner stayed in touch and provided information and instructions in a very timely manner. This was our second stay. We have family nearby. Waxhaw is a nice place to visit with good food and shops just two blocks away. We were delighted to be able to stay at this property again.

Great Spot to Stay and Enjoy Downtown Waxhaw

We live about 20 minutes away, this was our second year in a row of staying. Friday night it was a couple friends and a night out watching tourney games and enjoying Waxhaw, night two was a date night with the wife. We love Waxhaw it is really nice to be able to walk everywhere and enjoy the town. The house is clean, quiet, and within walking distance to all the town has to offer. I highly recommend it for anyone wanting a nice weekend away.

Close to shops

The property had its pros and cons. The pros were it was close to all the restaurants and shops in town. We enjoyed that. The place was clean and the mattress was comfortable. They also provided black wash clothes for make-up removal. That was nice. The cons were you could hear everything from the tenant upstairs. The guest room bedroom is below their bedroom and their small child could be heard running around. We were not aware the unit was on the lower level of the property until we got there. Additionally, the furniture and decor were pretty dated, sturdy, but dated. The bedframe in the guest room had a very rustic, low profile, hand-made frame which I kept hitting my shin on going around it. The living room had an odd layout for where the TV was mounted and the furniture was placed. My suggestion would be to update the bedframe in the second bedroom, move the TV to the wall where the pictures were hung, and invest in a sectional and a regular-height dining table. The pub table is too big for the space. Overall, the place was affordable and clean. I loved that the mattress was comfortable.

Your property was nice with cleanliness being very good. The concern I have is for thr showers. There were no handles to climb in or out. We are seniors. Area rugs were a trip hazard. Thank you for the wine a nice touch.

Lovely placed, nicely located, some concerns

This property is lovely, ideally located and reasonably priced. It is within walking distance of everything that Downtown Waxhaw has to offer. Parking for two large vehicles is provided and easy to access. However, the security issue that was brought to the owner's attention in April of 2022 still exists. It is impossible to feel comfortable if you do not feel safe.

Amazing location in the heart of Waxhaw

We booked this apartment for our team member. The communication with the host was great from the beginning. Leah, is super friendly, replies quick and was very helpful. The location is amazing. Restaurants and bars in walking distance but still a quiet place. Parking was available.

Great Walkable Spot to enjoy downtown Waxhaw

The property is very nicely kept and clean, it is in a great Walkable location to downtown Waxhaw. We had a friend day of dining, watching tournament games, and enjoying some cocktails, and then a date day the next day. We walked everywhere we wanted to go, and it was very relaxing to be able to enjoy downtown Waxhaw with no driving required. Highly recommend for anyone wanting an fun weekend out of the House.

My husband is a builder, and he constructed this duplex as part of our retirement plan. Eventually, we noticed there were no accommodations closer than a 20-minute drive from Waxhaw for short stays. That's when we decided to convert our properties into VRBO/Airbnb, short term rentals. We sincerely hope you have a wonderful stay!
