Come relax in a family friendly, cozy cottage with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms in the Gravois Arm of Lake of the Ozarks. The house is located in the back of a quiet cove with calm water that is great for floating and swimming. This property is also attached to 40+ acres of private hiking trails with creeks and a fresh water spring.
Inside, the house is 3 bedrooms with two king beds, a full size bed, a toddler bed, and a pack in play is also available. The open concept kitchen and living room has two dining tables with seating for 4 people each (8 total) and 2 bar stool chairs that sit at the large kitchen island. The extra tables and seating area also make a great work space. The covered deck has great views of the lake and overlooks a large flat yard with lots of space to run and play.

Great family home

Our family of 4 adults and one toddler spent a long weekend here. We found the home to be comfortable and spacious. The porch was a great place to sit out and enjoy the breezes and watch the birds on the lake. The property owner was easy to communicate with and was kind enough to send some items that were left behind by my daughter. Would definitely stay there again!

It was a great space for our family to spend the week. The house was ready when we arrived and well stocked with plenty of towels, dishes, etc. It's a great family space as it is wide open in the kitchen/dining/living room, as well as outdoor space and there are many games and activities for all ages. The onsite laundry and dishwasher were a game changer for our big family!!! The property was also great for my husband as he can not do a lot of steps. There are few steps (with railing) in and out of the house, but the house is all one level. There was no dock access to the lake, but we made it work from the bank as the water was very shallow. It worked well for our younger kiddos, but went into town for some fishing and swimming with our older kiddos. My older kiddos loved the paddle boards and went out on those quite a bit. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly - we even had the friendliest pup from down the road spend a day playing with our kiddos. The host was wonderful! She reached out to confirm all the details the day of our arrival and was quick to respond to any questions. I would highly recommend this property for families with kiddos and/or folks with with limited mobility.

Family gathering weekend

Our family had an amazaing stay. The home slept our 3 families comfortably. The property was spaceous with amazing views of the lake.. The hiking trails were a great way to get in our morning exercise. The home was clean and had everything we needed to enjoy the stay. The owners made our stay completely stress free and we can't wait to stay at the property again.

Family Visit in March

Had a great time with family and the dogs at this quiet, clean, and nicely decorated cabin. Very cool hiking trails take you to a spring loaded with water cress. The lake is low this time of year due to draw downs, but it didn’t take away from the nice deck view and good time we had during our stay.

Beautiful and quiet location

We loved staying at this property. We love the outdoors so this location was perfect for us. We enjoyed the trails and the scenery. Everything was very comfortable. The grill could either use an update or a good cleaning, but other than that, it was perfect and we would definitely stay again. Thanks so much!!

Great hiking trails

My husband, dog, and I stayed here for our anniversary weekend and it was exactly what we were looking for! The private hiking trails were awesome and we could see deer and other critters right from the couch! A great lake getaway in the fall. 10/10 would recommended.

Peaceful

I ended up traveling by myself and my dog for some R&R. This was great for just being by a very quiet offshoot of the lake. I sat on the porch with my coffee every morning and just enjoyed the hummingbirds, deer, and even ospreys! I picked this one for the porch and I was not disappointed. The house had everything I needed and I was relieved to not have to think of everything I had to bring. I pretty much brought my clothing, toiletries, and food. Everything else was there.

Owner Alexis is top-notch, easy access to trails, & home has much more than just the essentials.

The home is was beautiful and spacious on the inside. Also, the private trails are right in your backyard. We were able to navigate through the trails easily (bring the map included with the binder). The yard is also more than large enough for a sizable group wanting to enjoy the views of the water and fresh air. Finally, Alexis is absolutely fantastic. She was very responsive, helpful, and pleasant when communicating.

Amazing lake retreat

Very happy with our stay

The location of the house is great. We liked that it’s not in a highly commercial area. Love having the acreage to walk the dogs and explore. Spent nights by the fire pit, which felt nice and private. The lake was low, so we went to public access for fishing. The house was quite clean. The open kitchen and sitting area are well appointed and great for cooking and gathering. The new baths were nice and the bedroom furniture was nice as well. The structure itself could use some upkeep, but we were very happy with our stay.

Big, Quiet Space

Lots of space in the house and in the yard. We really appreciate the size of the rooms and the property. WIFI made sure we still had something to do when it got dark. Already booked our next visit!
