Featuring a screened porch with a peaceful and serene lake view from pub height bistro set, this one-level resort retreat offers a living and dining area, well-equipped kitchen, full updated bathroom (accessible from Bedroom 2) and two bedrooms, including the master suite with an updated bathroom of its own. Central air conditioning, washer, dryer and more. 3 TVs (new Smart TV in the living room - 2016), DVD, Keurig, gas fireplace, Wifi. Plus, thee bicycles (courtesy items not guaranteed).

THINGS TO KNOW

Delaware regulations require all guests sign a lease agreement within 10 days of booking. A lease agreement will be sent within 24 hours of booking and an electronic signature is required before final check-in information is made available.

Great location, clean, nice amenities included.

We loved the location of this property. Close to a quiet pool and tram stop. We loved the screened in porch. Would recommend if you are looking for a 2 bedroom in a convenient location.

Needs updating and repairs

We loved the location and the fact that it had a porch overlooking the water (instead of the parking lot). But the unit needs updating - the beds are awful (especially in the primary bedroom) and the carpeting throughout is filthy and not ideal for a beach house. The porch is dirty and furniture uncomfortable. Some lightbulbs missing in the primary bathroom and the cleaning was not great. In July when we stayed it was really musty and didn't feel clean. In August, it reeked of bleach, but still wasn't clean since I found food remnants (not ours) on the carpet. We did not see the welcome binder until we happened upon it the last night and this would have been helpful! Thanks

Condo was nicely furnished. master BR bed unsupportive.

Property was good for biking, $115.00 fee for towels and linens excessive. Excessive rental fees, if special combined rental days (2/1) weren't available, we would have gone elsewhere. Directions to condo location were incoherent Was it 1008 Evergreen Circle, Rd, or WAY? Map was unclear - Hard to follow in Monsoon like rainat night on 9/13/2017. Condo numbers not visible, some help from security guard in auto and very helpful lady in Florida who we connected with after we called the office in Delaware??? $117 .00 Recreation Fee extremely excessive , we only used the gymnasium once, and we used the public beach because of it's easier access for handicapped person. This was a nostalgic trip for "EMPTY NESTERS" who started visiting SEA COLONY with our family in 1977, I doubt if we will return?

Thank you for taking the time to review your Sea Colony stay. Your feedback is very important to us and we sincerely apologize for the difficulties you experienced finding the property. You do have an option to opt out of the linen package purchase and instead bring your own sheets, bath towels, wash cloths and bath mats. Sea Colony does charge a mandatory per person resort fee for anyone age 4 and over. That fee is charged regardless if you use any of their amenities. The fee varies by the time of year and ranges from $12 to $40 per person. There are other communities that do not have resort fees or that have optional amenity fees. Perhaps on your next visit you may wish to try one of those. We would be happy to assist you in finding the perfect place that would meet your needs.

Tennis community stay is always a delightful stay

We enjoy the lake view from the unit. It is always nice to see all the workers arrive in October. They begin the ongoing outdoor maintenance Sea Colony continually does to maintain the high standards of this resort. We had a great week!

Perfect place to stay

Stayed at several different units at Sea Colony in past. This was our favorite. Abundant space for 2 - 4 people. Bright, cheerful, well equipped and well maintained. Enclosed and unenclosed patios overlooking lake. Unit lacked nothing. Bikes available were a plus.

Great for family

I am an owner at Sea Colony and rented this place near me for family. Beyond the normal— the place was clean and well-appointed with kitchen wares, tvs, etc— it also had bikes and chairs, which was outstanding and very welcome! We hope to rent next year too. Only small issue was the screened in porch— loved it, but there were some screen holes that let the mosquitos in. My legs got tagged pretty bad my first night before I realized the skeeters were getting in.

Idyllic Evergreen Circle

We loved our stay at Bethany Beach. The Evergreen Circle unit promotes a very relaxing and pleasant beach getaway. The screened in out door porch is wonderful for reading, relaxing, and enjoying a layer back breakfast or lunch. The beautiful grounds landscaping, including the inviting walking and biking paths, made our stay even better. Everyone is very friendly and we even had to wait for a turtle to pass on our way out of Sea Colony. We would definitely recommend a stay at Sea Colony.

The house was very comfortable, lots of little extras around the house, very close to 2 pools, quick 5 minute bike ride to some restaurants and the beach. Loved hearing the fountain from the screen porch. The 3 bikes were very nice to have at our disposal.

Comfortable and convenient

We enjoyed our stay very much. The unit is attractive, comfortable, and well stocked with various kitchen needs, books, games and multiple TVs. We especially liked the screened in porch. We arrived after Labor Day, so it was quiet in the community. Many of the Sea Colony amenities were not available, but the fitness center and the main pool were open and a short walk from this unit. We also just drove up to Sea Colony beachfront area and had no problem parking and getting on the beach. Lifeguards and chair vendors were on duty. Check-in was easy and the staff very helpful getting us an additional parking permit. The only negative was that the bikes were in need of some TLC by that point in the season. We would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely wonderful!

The property was clean and "as advertised"; in fact, my impression was that the pictures don't really do it justice. We particularly loved the view from the screened-in porch, where we spent a lot of time when we weren't at the beach (which is no more than about 2 minutes away by car). The beds were comfortable and the neighborhood is peaceful and quiet--a great place to stroll and ride bikes, both of which we did. Our only regret was that we booked for just one week instead of two! I would absolutely recommend this property to everyone. Just one note: the numbers on the buildings were difficult (sometimes impossible) to see from the street or parking lot. You may have to park your vehicle and actually walk around to find out which unit you are in. The address of the unit is over the entry door.
