Wonderful home for a family beach week

This home was perfect! The space was huge, updated, and comfortable. It’s close to a tram stop. The screen in porch was wonderful and made the place feel even bigger. The beds were comfortable. Lots of natural light. We had a great stay and would definitely come back to this property!

Beautiful home, great experience

We had a great experience here! We had visited Sea Colony before so we were familiar with its services and the surrounding area. This home was perfect for 4 adults and 2 kids. It was clean, well kept, and beautifully decorated. We were close to pools, walking/biking trails, and a few tram stops. We’d stay here again!

Great location and pretty home!

Decor and appliances were new and fresh. Only issue is the need to run a dehumidifier all the time. But otherwise we loved the first floor location and location in the community.

Worst Experience in 10 years @ Sea Colony

Check in keeps getting later & later. Spent the first hour and a half calling and emailing the 11+ issues with this rental. I feel so bad for the owner Vacasa is AWFUL. We spent the entire vacation with 1 toilet!!!! And that was just 1 of the issues. No one call or responded the entire week we were there. We ended up leaving early. I requested our cleaning fee return as well as our $90/person resort fee. Still no response from Vacasa

Lovely condo in a great location

To start, this condo was probably one of the cleanest properties I've stayed in and I use Vrbo a lot. Beautiful location nestled among mature trees. Fully equipped kitchen - pots, pans, a blender and a functioning icemaker. All the glass and dishware you could need. Beds were comfortable and the linens were high quality. We were pleased to see some small touches like hand soap upgrades, a dishmat and a damp clothes drying rack. The laundry room has a full sized washer and dryer which came in handy for our sweaty workout clothes. This condo is located on the quiet side of Sea Colony and we loved it! The gym, which has an indoor and outdoor pool, a full range of weight workout and cardio equipment was about a three minute walk. The Bethanny Boardwalk was about a 15 minute walk. The passes you purchase allow you to use all of the amenities on offer at Sea Colony so that's a really pleasant surprise. Also, we LOVED the screened in porch. I will agree with other reviewers here that the furniture could use a little updating, but the space is lovely - quiet, lots of wild life. I spent most of an entire day on the porch. There are several restaurants within a 7 minute walk of the condo. I highly recommend Summer Salts. They are also open late. The Boathouse just across the main road is great too and they have live music most of the time. Great stay in so many ways. I would highly recommend this place, it is beautiful inside and out.

Loved the proximity to the beach and center of town. The house had a terrible moldy type smell that would hit your nostrils as soon as you walked in. The comforters looked like they had not been replaced in years. The master shower had very little water pressure. Overall, adequate, but not a place I would choose to stay again.

Spring at Sea Colony

We loved the 3 bedroom and 2 bath house we stayed in. Sea Colony has great amenities like the fitness center, indoor and outdoor pool and sidewalks everywhere. It was 1 mile to the beach so short enough to walk to. We hardly ever had to take the car out all week. Definitely would stay there again. The only negative is that we would have liked to have extra toilet paper and a hairdryer.

Quiet getaway near the beach

Everything was great! Clean, quiet nicely equipped kitchen, convenient location. For such a lovely porch, we were disappointed there was not nicer(more comfortable) porch furniture. Also, as far as the check in process, why not have beach/rec passes left in the condo, or have them able to be downloaded upon checkin and have guest checkin online? Saves an extra trip to the property manager. We would definitely stay here again!
