38 Plantation Drive is an absolutely stunning 1.3+ acre wooded estate boasting beautiful golf and lagoon views. No detail has been overlooked in this 3,837 square foot home, from the chef’s kitchen with professional appliances to its 4 spacious beds and 3.5-baths with designer fixtures. Enjoy the Carolina room for a little reading and relaxing. There is also a home office on this level for those who need a quiet space to work. Want to barbecue? Enjoy the Big Green Egg (charcoal grill) on the back deck next to the pool.

The second level of the home has another living area adding a classical touch tot eh home with a 1925 Steinway Grand Piano.
There is an additional family room on the ground level adjacent to the garage that is perfect for watching movies or playing board games.
With architectural and landscape lighting to accent the oaks, palmettos, and Spanish moss, the property is beautiful at night with an outside fire pit for family gatherings around the campfire. The original art combined with other comfort features makes this your home away from home rather than a typical rental house.

Great stay!

We had a great time. The house had everything we needed and easy accessible to the beach. The manager was quick to respond to any questions we had. Will definitely stay there again.

Great house!! But extremely dirty!!!!!

When we got there a little after 4:00 the cleaning person was still there. She finished around 4:15 and we went in. There was food and junk all over the floors and rugs. I asked her if I could use her vacuum and when I did, I discovered that it was completely broken and not picking up anything. I told her the place was filthy and I needed her to bring me a vacuum and cleaning supplies. There was soap scum around all the faucets that I easily removed just by simple cleaning. There were all kinds of things under the couches that u could clearly see the minute I walked in the front door. There was hair all over the bathroom floors and the counter tops in the kitchen had visible crumbs all over them. That being said, she never brought me the cleaning supplies, she came back with the broken vacuum and started cleaning with it again, I called the property manager and someone came with a vacuum and windex. I vacuumed and cleaned the entire house for about 2 hours, not something you’re supposed to have to do when you rent a nice house like this!! I strongly suggest you get a new cleaning company. The people who come after us will not complain about cleanliness I bet, because I left it in way better condition than what it was when we arrived. Also, one suggestion, you need to have a vacuum for ur guests. People staying there for a week with a large number of people are going to want to run the vacuum once or twice during their stay, the floors really needed it again half way through our stay so luckily they left me the vacuum the entire week. . This would be a win win for everyone. The house is fantastic and a great lay out. Perfect for 2 family’s.

Perfect for a large family getaway

We absolutely loved this house! It felt like our home away from home. It was beautiful, comfortable & relaxing. There was plenty of space for our two families. We loved cooking in the kitchen & the large kitchen table for meals & playing cards. The private pool was wonderful & so much fun. We loved the location & enjoyed daily walks & bike rides on the beautiful trails. Taking the trolley to the beach was fun & easy. There were great restaurants & shops nearby, too. The sun room was wonderful to enjoy a cup of coffee, a good book & beautiful views of the golf course. We made wonderful memories & would love to return!

Great Space and Location

What an amazing house!! The property is nestled in shade and overlooks the golf course. It is very private and offers the quiet peace you need on vacation. The house is a great space for a large family to reunite and make special memories. The only issues we had were with cleanliness and plumbing. Upon arrival we found black hair all over the upstairs bathroom and also pieces of potato chips and Doritos in the main living room and the throw rugs in the bathrooms were really dirty. All bathrooms seemed to have drains that moved way too slow. By the end of our showers we were standing in several inches of water. All that said - we did have a wonderful time and would rent this property again realizing these issues could be easily resoved.
