Review:
This year marked our 2nd stay at the Sea Turtle. Next year will mark our 3rd and while we're not wishing our lives away we can't wait until we return to escape another cold Michigan winter! The location is perfect, mid St Augustine Beach, a few short blocks from the ocean, at the end of a quiet street, close to amenities and nearby attractions. The unit is fully equipped, stocked with everything needed to make your stay as comfortable as if you were in your own home. One thing we love about the unit is the back deck, surrounded by tropical foliage, where you can hear the ocean waves at night. I’m also a big walker and walking from the Sea Turtle to the ocean to watch launches from Cape Canaveral are memories I also treasure. The Sea Turtle is a gem and we're so glad we found when shopping for a winter escape. R. Miller 3/2024 (3 month stay)

Best Place in St. Augustine Beach

We have stayed in several places in St Augustine Beach and this was by far the best. Spotlessly clean; fully equipped kitchen; comfy bed; great bathroom with grab bars and new towels, shower curtain and rugs. Beautiful back deck and garden area, three short blocks to beach, easy walking distance to everything. Great communication and response from owners. Would absolutely stay again!

The location of VRBO IS GREAT!

The host are very accommodating and active with their rental! The rental is a home away from home! All needs are met in the rental! You get to sit and relax on a terrific deck. You can hear the waves! You are surrounded by local restaurants!! Within walking distance to the pier, beach and fun dining at local restaurants. Steve and Brenda are so wonderful! Would stay again! Thank you!

Wonderful Winter Escape!

We were looking for a place to escape the cold Michigan Winter and we found a little piece of paradise on St Augustine Beach. Brenda & Steve have done a really nice job renovating & equipping this property. Everything (and I mean everything) we needed during our stay was available in the unit and easy to locate. I honestly thought at times we were staying in their home! We loved the quiet, close to the beach location, as well as the large backyard deck where we would sit during lunch and at night to look at the stars and listen to the ocean. Leaving was a bittersweet, but thankfully we were able to rebook and are already looking forward to returning next Winter!

Rick and Deb. Thank you for the review. We are so excited you have decided to return next year and even stay longer. We did renovate the home with our northern guests in mind but with the thoughts of what we would like if we lived there permanently. With that said we do love St. Augustine Beach and all it offers. Awesome place to stay!

Very clean, recently updated and well equipped. The owners have thought of everything. Short walk to the beach…no need to concern yourselves with finding a parking spot! Also, short walking distance to shops, restaurants and St. John’s Pier. Short driving distance to Historic St. Augustine, St. Augustine Amphitheater, St. Augustine Lighthouse, Marineland, Alligator Farm and so many other attractions and restaurants. Quick responsive owners. Great communication. I enjoyed my stay and highly recommend this rental to anyone and everyone!!

We have been in St. Augustine for more than 15 years. Steve is retired Army National Guard. Our love for St. Augustine began while working here before retirement. We began sharing our love for St. Augustine beach by inviting family to town. This home will enable us to share St. Augustine Beach with you! Currently we have 2 homes but it seems like St. Augustine is the main residence. Our other home is in Central Florida where we grew up and our families are still located.

Sitting and walking on the beach in the morning or evening and spending the day with our grandchildren in the sand are our favorite things to do. The walks downtown are also enjoyable. Every time we go downtown we discover a new street or a new food that we have not tried. We love our time in St Augustine and so will you!

Residents in St. Augustine are fun and enjoyable. The atmosphere is friendly. Life is slower. You will not want to leave!

This vacation home has been remodeled with the seasonal guest in mind.
Both units A and B are available monthly and during 2025 we are also offering 2 week getaways. We have provided everything you will need to enjoy the fun you desire. There is a large deck in the back yard for relaxation and evening visits. Local artwork has been added to complete the beach look. We added a futon in the living area so guests can visit some during your stay. The walk to the beach is short. Return home for lunch or visit local restaurants without the need to drive. The Historic District is only a 10 minute drive.

So much packed into this home. Granite countertops, new appliances, new bathroom and even hurricane windows. You will love the comfort of this home especially when you return at the end of the day. The new outside shower completes our home. Rinse off and leave the sand outside!

Enjoy St. Augustine with friends or family. Reserve both Units A and B during the same month or months and receive an extra discount! With large back decks these homes will make grilling out and evening meals at the beach enjoyable!
