Prime location one block from the beach with a marina, dining, and lounge nearby. Two-minute walk to three different beach access points -- two of which are completely private. Less than a mile walk to downtown Venice, where you can enjoy the cute little shops and fine dining.

This is a 1/1 unit that has a completely private entrance, full kitchen, full living room and dining room, large screened-in porch, large bedroom with a king-size bed, large fenced-in backyard, and there's also an air mattress available.

The unit also shares a washer and dryer in the garage. The garage also has four beach cruisers, plenty of beach chairs, beach toys, beach towels, fishing poles, coolers, a cart to easily carry items to the beach, and shark tooth finding tools.

You can't beat this beach location on the island.

The location was close to shopping and the beach. It was spacious with a semi comfortable memory foam type mattress. The garage had some nice beach items like a wagon, fishing pole, shade umbrella and shark tooth scoop and sifter. We used the couch for an extra sleeping space and sheets were hard to find and no extra pillow cases. The kitchen sink was backed up and a sheet pan for the oven would have been nice. There was a boiler pan but that cooks differently. A very small bar of soap was provided for the shower which wasn’t enough so we used some left over shampoo that was under the sink. The place is getting rather old and could use a refresh

We have used Vrbo several times, and have always been happy with very good accommodations. Compared to past vacations, this place was a dump. The picture did not give us a good idea of what we were getting. I am surprised that Vrbo would actually list this place on their website. We ended up staying at a local motel in Venice. The place had not been cleaned, and there were rocks on the sidewalk. The floor was not one level, but required small step-ups between rooms. As I said, the place was a dump.

A perfect place to stay

This was the perfect stay for us. A short walk to the beach and downtown. The space is very spacious both inside and out, with a nice backyard to enjoy. The best part were the owners, super nice and accommodating. I highly recommend this gem of a place.

Weekend getaway

This is our second stay at this property and it is most enjoyable. The house is spacious and tidy with cute decor. It is a very short stroll to the most beautiful beach and they have everything stocked for a fun day of shark tooth hunting. My family and I look forward to visiting again!

Wondeful location

We enjoyed our stay at the Venice Beach condo!! Property was clean and in the perfect location. Easy access to the beach, Centennial Park, and the strip of shops and restaurants. Property manager was quick to respond.

Awesome location

What a great location! Plenty of space and a fenced back yard! Pet friendly with all the beach toys and bikes to enjoy. We will definitely be back. Shark teeth and shells made this trip one that we enjoyed!!

The location was definitely one of the biggest positives of this property. It was very dog friendly, about a 5-minute walk to the beach, and roughly a 20-minute walk to downtown. The water stayed hot, there were TVs throughout the house, and when the AC was working, it cooled the house well.Unfortunately, the cleanliness and overall condition of the property were disappointing. The yard and exterior were poorly maintained, with overgrown grass, weeds, and bushes. Inside, the house is dated, which we expected to some extent, but I felt the listing photos did not accurately show some of the more dated areas of the property. More importantly, the house simply did not feel clean.The areas under the kitchen sink, bathroom cabinets, and utility room were particularly unpleasant. There were visible signs of pest issues, including traps in several of these areas, and we found a couple of dead cockroaches inside the house during our stay. These things made it difficult to feel comfortable with the overall cleanliness of the property.We also had an issue with the AC not working. I messaged the host about it but never received a response. I was ultimately able to troubleshoot and fix the issue myself, but having no response from the host when an essential system wasn’t working was frustrating.Overall, the property has a great location, especially if being close to the beach and having a dog-friendly place are priorities. House had not been cleaned. No bed sheets. Mold in bathroom. Broken lamps. Previous client's dirty linen stuffed into a hamper. We did not stay even one night and have been promised a full refund. Waiting on it.

This private duplex was a short walk to Venice Beach & a short, pretty drive to beach restaurants and Historic downtown. Very comfortable accomodations, nicely furnished but needs tile work in the bathroom and a bed skirt to cover the king size box springs. Enjoyed our stay!!

Great Location!! Clean and Quiet!!

So enjoyed our stay! Great communication with owner! Walkable to beach, restaurants, shops, and parks. Super clean rental. Loved the new couches!! Well stocked kitchen, plenty of linens, beach chairs and bicycles provided. Large fenced backyard was so nice for our dog.

GREAT RELAXING STAY

Stayed here for me and my wife’s anniversary. The unit was very clean and had all that we needed. Beach access was great and it felt like having the beach to yourself at times. The beach supplies that were offered were great especially looking for shark teeth. Fishing was really good as well. Good privacy with a nice lanai.

We loved it.

The property was very clean and they had just got new furniture and it looked great. We loved everything about it. It was a close walk to the beach and we loved the house and our back yard. We had a wonderful time. We will definitely be returning next year.

Short stay, like other reviews the unit is very outdated. It has a great quiet location close to the beach. This place would be adorable with some updating. Served our purposes.

Wonderful time

My friend and I stayed a week and loved every minute. We were surprised that Venice Beach was so close...less than 4 blocks. We liked the quiet and welcoming city. Met some great people. We didn't want a condo, so this was just right. It was clean which is most important.

Beach Vacation / Visiting Family

We came down to visit the family and go to the beach. The duplex was wonderful. It was quiet and had plenty of room for the two of us. The fenced backyard was great for our dog. It was super close to the beach as we only had to walk a block over and a block up, so it was great for morning and evening walks on the beach. The beach was not crowded at all. We had a great time and really enjoyed our stay. We will be sure to stay there again when we come back.

Great location, private back yard - quiet neighborhood - short walks to the beach- Listing said toilet paper and shampoo was provided but there was only one roll of TP and one small tube of shampoo. Other than that everything was fine.

Great location and communication

2 minute walk from the beach and 10 minute bike ride into down town Venice made this the perfect location. The spot was quiet and peaceful and the kitchen was well equipped too and there was a great grill and outdoor eating area. There were 4 bikes which was great. Only there was no pull out couch, only an air mattress to sleep the other two people which was fine. Overall a great stay, would recommend!

great value!

We really liked the price, especially for the proximity to the beach and downtown Venice. Great dining close by too. The condo is spacious for being only a one bedroom, one bath unit. We were happy that we could bring our pup with us, too. As with most vacation rentals, furniture was adequate but rather dated. This is especially true at this price point which we will put up with considering price is important to us vs decor and furnishings. Bathroom was super dated with tub that needs TLC. Home needs deep cleaning, especially drawers, closets, baseboards, and blinds. It was clean otherwise. Nice quiet area.
