Ready to relax & have fun? We've got you covered! This newly remodeled, fully furnished, 1712 square foot home has everything you need to enjoy the Port A beaches, restaurants & bars, shopping, and second-to-none fishing opportunities. Our well-maintained home is located in a private neighborhood close to the beach and is set up to be used as two separate units if desired. Both areas are well-appointed for the vacation you deserve. The upper floor boasts two beautifully furnished bedrooms. Our home has a master bedroom with a king bed and a superb en-suite bathroom, including a separate tub and shower. There is also a second bedroom with a queen bed and a second full bathroom on this floor of the house. The open-concept kitchen and living room allow lots of space for gathering, games, music, etc.
~ The comfortable furniture make the living room a great hang-out and doubles as a sleeping space for 2. A 75-inch TV in the living room is a great way to relax when you aren't at the beach, fishing, shopping, or enjoying the great outdoors. Perfect for the sports enthusiast, family movie, or for binging on your favorite Netflix shows. Catch up on emails or sneak a bit of work into your schedule with the high-speed internet service in both units.
~ The kitchen has a huge island, newer appliances, granite countertops, and a spacious dining area with seating for 6-8. Enjoy grilling your fresh catch of the day or cooking your favorite vacation meals. A complete set of cookware, dishes, silverware, glasses and plastic beach cups are among a long list of included items. That's important for the cook!

Is one-level living required? Have a guest or family member with a handicap? Bring them along! This ground-floor unit is perfect for guests with limited mobility, a walker, or a wheelchair. OUTDOORS:
After spending your afternoon at the beach, the outdoor shower is a real plus. A charcoal grill is available for the grill master of the house. Beach chairs, toys, and umbrellas are yours to use during your stay. The beach is a short walk down the private boardwalk and is magnificent!

Bathrooms: Plenty of towels, washcloths, beach towels, laundry detergent, shampoo, conditioner & bar soap. Kitchen: Coffee pot, coffee, condiments, blender, crockpot, and of course, plenty of paper towels, toilet paper & trash bags. For your safety, we have two security cameras, one in the garage and an exterior camera near the second-level staircase.

Golf Cart
Booking the Sandcastle House includes complimentary use of our 6-seat golf cart while you stay. Take the golf cart to the beach, downtown to restaurants, grocery stores, or fisherman's wharf. You must provide valid proof of insurance, driver's license information, signed waiver, and all drivers must be 21 years of age or older to operate the golf cart. A credit card deposit may be required to use the golf cart.

Access to the golf cart adds exceptional value to your stay. Local golf cart rentals are $175-$200 per day if you can get one at all. They tend to be booked up months in advance for busy weekends. Avoid the frustration of trying to locate a rental. Time is a precious commodity when you're on vacation. Don't waste time standing around in a line waiting for your rental. Just minutes from the downtown area of Port Aransas, and steps to the beach, yet tucked in a great neighborhood, your family or group will love the location of this home and, like many others, will want to return again and again. We partner with a local caretaker if anything warrants immediate attention. Nice to know.


CALENDAR AND BOOKING:
We keep our calendar current, so please don't hesitate to contact us for last-minute getaways or plans far into the future. Call, text (fastest), or email if you have any questions. Our policy is to return all correspondence promptly (within an hour) and have your vacation home ready when you are! The website states our minimum stay is four days. If there are holes in our schedule, we will do our best to accommodate shorter stays. Please call us directly to make arrangements. Take your vacation when you can! We understand.

25% down holds your dates. Without 25% down, dates cannot be reserved. Full payment is required 30 days before your stay unless otherwise arranged with the owner. We reserve the right to decline bookings that do not include full weekends, 3-night minimums, or overlap too closely (for cleaning and sanitizing purposes) during certain times of the year. We ask that someone over the age of 25 books the rental and stay for the trip duration. This property is best suited for responsible guests and families.

CANCELLATIONS:
A 60-day cancellation notice is required to avoid penalty. Please note that VRBO may still charge you a cancellation fee. Cancellations fewer than 60 days out forfeit the 25% already paid. Early departure or cancellation does not warrant a refund unless the owner has pre-approved it. We prefer not to penalize our clients if possible. We do our very best to re-rent the unit for the dates canceled. Please keep in touch if you feel your plans could change. Life happens.
