Change your Latitude ~ Studio~ Only Steps from the beach/ocean

Need some rest and relaxation? This is the place for you!! Studio apartment on the back half of an ocean front duplex. Only a few steps from an amazing stretch of beaches. Enjoy a large bedroom/ living room area with a smart tv, internet and a dvd player. TV works with your internet based apps like HULU, NetFlix, etc. Only steps from the beach! Beautiful palm trees in front of the property on the beach waiting for your hammock and drink of choice! Studio includes a queen sized bed, a futon sofa (small~ only sleeps one and is best for a child not an adult), a full kitchen (stove, oven, fridge, and basic cook wear) bathroom with shower, and a large closet with shelves for your clothes. You can’t get much better for the price!! Free parking on the street, the parking on premises is for the adjoining 2 bedroom rental (also available on VRBO #2108080). This property is minutes from the famous El Yunque Rainforest, the natural water slide, a bioluminescent bay, Charco El Hippie, many adventures in Old San Juan, the ferry to Flamenco Beach on Culebra island, the Marina in Fajardo, and so much more. You can hike, fish, explore, shop, dine, or just be a beach bum!!
There are also many wonderful places to eat in the area, including the Luquillo Kiosks. I also recommend checking out Pinterest for fun ideas of things to do while in Puerto Rico!

I could have hit the ocean with a baseball from the porch if I wanted. It was an incredibly beautiful place to stay. It was exactly what we were looking for, sorta quiet sorta not, entirely authentic.

This place was great. Literally steps to the beach. Everything you need , gas , groceries , food all within 2-5 min driving distance , even walking distance. Ac worked great , kitchen was great over all a great time. My kids loved it. The only issue was the WiFi , it wasn’t as strong for us that our network worked better. But the place was perfect

I feel like I need to just write a quick couple of things. First off, this was my second stay at this place. It really is perfect for a solo traveler like myself. Only issue with the place itself is the shower has 2 temps. Hot and Really hot. There’s no cold water at all. There is however an outdoor shower that can give ya whatever temp you need. Just can’t get naked out there ;)2nd. This is the big one. Renters need to be aware that this is an extremely local beach. If you enjoy sitting on the beach after the sun goes down, you really can’t. Locals use this strip all night long. If you are sitting anywhere on the beach, they will pull up and park with their brights on staying for sometimes hours. With their lights on. And multiple cars a once. It’s the only frustrating part. Also, if you give the smallest opportunity, your stuff will 100% be stolen. I left my spot for about 10mins to take a swim, came back and all my stuff was gone. It’s really not the best place for hanging out. Which is unfortunate, because it is beautiful.

Amber Thank you for being an attentive host. We enjoyed our stay in your suite. Everything was great and well stocked with basic necessities and extra such as the beach chairs, umbrella and snorkeling gear. Amber was very responsive and quick with our questions and even came out to meet us when we arrived late at night when we were lost. I have one small feedback: the shower was a challenge because there was no way to regulate the temperature. If you are not careful you can get burned. This will in no way keep us from returning to this place because it is in a perfect location.

This place has it all!

What a wonderful place to stay! It’s convenient, close to great restaurants, bakery, grocery store, laundromat and Beautiful Beaches! It had everything we needed for a comfortable vacation. Love this place.

Location! Location!

The location is amazing, right on the ocean as advertised. The unit is very basic, but comfortable. Everything in unit was in perfect working condition. The fact that it is the back unit was no issue for us. All you have to do is step outside, perfect ocean view, and a couple steps your on the beach! The oceanfront is perfect, you can enjoy the beach or chill in the shade of the palms.

Perfect getaway

Everything couldn’t have been more perfect. We were situated right on the beach, which never got too crowded. The neighborhood was the perfect place to just kind of bounce around for food and drinks. Local people were awesome to chat with and get to know. We wanted to simply get away and turn our brains off for a little and I couldn’t have been happier with the whole experience.

A Perfect Couples Getaway!

My partner and I stayed here for five days, and it was everything we hoped for and more. The space is exactly as listed—beautiful, quaint, and perfect for a romantic escape. We started each day with a peaceful stroll on the beach and spent our evenings enjoying the vibrant energy of The Placita. It truly felt like a home away from home. We’re almost afraid to share how amazing it is because we want to keep it our little secret—but we’ll definitely be booking again! Highly recommend!

Perfect getaway

Great communication from the owner and the property manager with clear instructions. Location is very convenient for a relaxing stay near the beach. The unit has all the necessary kitchen items, beach towels, and even a book with recommendations on various activities and places to eat. We loved our stay and will definitely book again.

Best mommy/daughter Birthday getaway

I decided to come to Puerto Rico to celebrate my birthday to cheer up after losing my only brother on my birthday. BEST DECISION EVER! I flew in without a full plan. No rental, figured I’d Uber to the property. $60 bucks!! Taxi was over $80. Mary sent me a pin to the property which was extremely helpful because the address didn’t populate in the Uber app. She then offered to go to the airport that evening to get my daughter since she was flying in after dark. This saved me a few bucks and was quite considerate! The property is directly across the street from the beach and close to El Yunque Rain forest. There are many places to eat within walking distance so you don’t truly have to drive in town. The container park at the end of the street is really cool. They have live music and good & drinks all around. There’s a very helpful book on the code table with so much info on things to do! Love that!! We will definitely be back! Maybe even bring the grands. Thank you for such great hospitality!

This place is PERFECT!

Perfect in every way for the solo traveler or couple. You are beach front, to the left is a wonderful swimmable (green flag) beach, Costa Playa Azul and to the right is a surf beach, La Pared, red flags. It takes a little exploring to find the most amazing food and drinks!! I recommend La Fonda and Suma. Boardriders is also great for food and drinks and a 2 min walk. I will be booking again!!

Our family started traveling 10 years ago to many tropical places. We fell in love with Puerto Rico. It has so many fun, affordable things to do and see. You can return time after time and not run out of new experiences and new paths to explore.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

This property was everything we were looking for. It is centrally located to so many things to do in Puerto Rico, many of them within 15 minutes from the house... The view was breathtaking. The town is so peaceful, welcoming, and full of kind people. There are waves big enough to surf or boogie board about a block to the right and a small coral reef area to snorkel about a block to the left (in calm conditions). Great space for beach volleyball and also a calmer area to swim to the far left (just around the point). There is also a perfect place for the hammocks right in front of the house, and a wonderful small town feel.

This home offers a place you can spend the day on the beach, yet still have the luxury of running "home" for a few minutes (without having to pack up) to use the restroom, get snacks or drinks, etc. all while keeping your spot on the beach.
