Our beach apartment is a ground floor, corner unit in a two-story building. It includes private parking right in front and it’s just steps away from the beach (Less than a minute walk).

Its right in front of Playa Azul Beach, a short walk to several other beaches and a quick 10 minute drive to the tropical rainforest - El Yunque.

You will find everything you need to make your stay comfortable, while conveniently close to all attractions on the Northeast part of the island.
The space
The apartment has 2 bedrooms with new AC split units, WIFI, a fully equipped kitchen, a living room, and a separate entertainment space to enjoy after a full day of activities.

We've included beach accessories such as beach chairs, a beach umbrella, a cooler, and a beach cart to make the most out of your stay.
Guest access
The apartment only has one assigned parking spot, but you can find guest parking spaces along the street.

The place is central to all the locations we wanted to explore (beaches, rain forest, natural water slides, etc). It’s also surrounded with tons of great restaurants. We had a great time and will love to stay again.

All good except the shower

I'll start with the bad and end on a high note. The shower was a problem. It would fluctuate between very hot and cold. The very hot was clearly a problem for my children, so they took cold showers the entire time. I tried adjusting the water heater up and down with no improvement. I did notify the host after the first night, and he suggested adjusting the water heater and checking the fuse box. If that didn't work he'd call a plumber. We didn't want to fuss with the shower issue any further, and the host did not check in to ensure the situation was remedied. So, not a terrible response but not great either. Otherwise, the home was great. We appreciated the beach chairs and wagon. The outdoor hose to rinse our feet and gear was convenient. The location to the beach was amazing, and the beach was exceptional as well - great waves for body boarding. The kitchen and living areas met our needs. The beds were clean, comfortable, and furnished with nice linens. The AC units in the bedrooms were quiet and kept us comfortable. If you open the windows in the living area and keep the fans running, the warm temperature is fine, but don't come expecting central air throughout. If the shower issue were corrected, I would stay here again.

Wonderful location!

This roomy two bedroom was all I needed for a relaxing beach vacation getaway. The AC in the bedrooms was great. The beach umbrella and chairs were an addded bonus. I definitely felt safe and there was minimal noise.

Good stay in Luquillo

This property was as advertised. It would be nice to have air conditioning in living room area. But the bedrooms were nice and cold.

Great Location by Playa Azul

We were super happy to spend our Luquillo time just a bit east of Luquillo itself, just a minute's walk away from the lovelier Playa Azul. And this place was perfect: two air-conditioned bedrooms, a very functional kitchen, generous living space where we enjoyed some post-beach dominoes, and sparkling clean. Dedicated parking spot was also great. Beach chairs and beach towels were an unexpected bonus. Ricardo was clear and communicative about self-check-in, and responded immediately to my momentary confusion about the stovetop. Great base from which to explore this corner of the island.

Great space

The unit was very clean, well stocked and quite a bit larger than we expected. Air conditioned bedrooms were very comfortable for sleeping. We also enjoyed the beach toys and chairs. Location felt safe and secure and near restaurants, bars, and the beach.

Another great experience

This is the second time we've stayed at this perfect condo. This year my daughter and husband spet the second week and loved it very much. Can't say enough about the location and the quiet neighborhood, and the beach is perfict.

Beachy get away

Overall comfortable and spacious. Always great to have a kitchen to cook breakfast, make coffee and able to reheat leftovers. The beach chairs and beach equipment was nice to have access to. Quiet neighborhood (except for NYE fireworks) but everyone we met was super friendly. Easy walk to restaurants and great to have a parking space outside our front door. Already recommended to a friend looking for a long weekend getaway. Would definitely rebook.

Luquillo Family of 4

The property was easily located and accessed. The walk to the beach is only a minute or two. The waves can be rough on Playa Azul ; a very family friendly calmer swimming area is also located about 1/2 mile away. We enjoyed eating at the kioskos de Luquillo, the beach, a day trip to Old San Juan, and a hiking in El Yunque. The apartment was very clean and well stocked. The master bedroom bed was very comfortable and the AC in the bedroom area worked well. Ric was hospitable and communicative, he answered questions that we had about one of the AC units right away and we were able to troubleshoot the problem easily. The only things that would improve the stay are to add a few more beach towels and add an AC wall unit in the back living room / kitchen area. While there was a nice breeze in the front room with the windows open, the breeze doesn’t make it to the back which makes the space warm. Laundry unit and kitchen appliances worked well and we really enjoyed the beach accessories that were provided. Thanks, Ric!

Great beach vacation

Me and my family really loved this place. It was close to the beach and a short drive to several attractions. The apartment was spacious and comfortable. There was a big assortment of beach equipment, which was really convenient to have and not have to go out and buy.

Great condo just a very short walk to a beautiful beach.

Great amenities! We enjoyed the beach chairs and my son played with the sand pail and toys. Area was very quiet. We enjoyed pizza at Revolution Pizza and spent the following day exploring El Yunque. We will stay here again. Rick was great to work with.

A Slice of Heaven

This property was absolutely perfect for our winter escape vacation and much needed beach fix. The condo was immaculate, comfortably furnished and decorated with all of the amenities we needed including an incredibly comfortable king size bed and well stocked kitchen. Best of all was the design of the condo with built in shutters in all the windows and doors which provided us beautiful light and tropical breezes all week long. We loved being nestled into this quiet and welcoming neighborhood with a beautiful beach in easy walking distance allowing us long and easy hours on the beach at the end of the street. We had easy access to Amigos...a great grocery store, local restaurants and El Yunque. Ricardo was a tremendous host. The only thing that would have improved this experience would have been to stay longer, which we plan to do when we return to this fabulous Luquillo property next winter.

Very clean in nice area

This is an older unit not designed northerners so much for the windows are shutters The A/c works well, but don't expect it for the entire unit-just the bedrooms. All windows are shutters without glass. The hot water is instant on and you don't want to take a chance on anyone using the water while you shower( temp going from warm to cold and if adjusted scalding). the outside water hose did not work had to use a jugSo for the bad. The good: A well equiped kichen. 1/2 block from the beach. Very clean unit! Comfortable beds, Ceiling fans throughout.

Wonderful Stay!

We stayed in Luquillo for ~3wks and had an amazing stay at Ric’s place. He was very quick to respond to our messages and the rental was fully stocked with everything we needed! Playa azul was a 2 minute walk, the beds were comfortable, and the unit was incredibly clean. Wish we could have stayed longer!!

All the extras!

The property was very clean and beautifully decorated. It is much larger than I expected with two “living rooms” and two bedrooms. It was nice to have so much space! Better yet, it came with everything we needed to hit the beautiful beach that was steps away-chairs, towels, a wagon, even some sand toys! There were so many other little things that were there just in case we needed it-mosquito repellent, coffee, dish detergent, etc. This owner really knows how to host. We truly felt like guests-this host wanted us to be comfortable. 🙂 Minutes away from the grocery store, numerous restaurants and the rainforest. We would definitely stay here again!
