TC Tiny House Near Boardman Lake Trail

This tiny, cozy, 600SF home on lg, partially wooded lot has everything you need to be comfortable. Great, mixed-use location:1 block to Boardman Lake Trail (access at Center St), 1 mile to the Bay & downtown. < 1 mile to Brick Wheels bike & X-country ski rental. We like being able to walk or bike into town on the non-motorized pathway along Boardman River. As of June, 2025, a second home has been constructed at back of property, ~40 feet behind Tiny House. It is not yet occupied.

Stayed at the Tiny House for a soccer tournament at Keystone Soccer Complex. The house was perfect for me! Susan is an excellent communicator and very accommodating. She wanted to ensure everything was great during my stay and that I was a happy camper. House was clean and tidy upon my arrival. Bedrooms are very small, but there are closets with hangers and one luggage rack. Beds are comfortable. It was great to have coffee, creamer, and laundry supplies furnished. There are several spices and staples in the pantry. Full sized fridge and microwave and plenty of plates, bowls, cups, and utensils. Living room is spacious for the house size and there is a small eating table with 2 chairs in the kitchen area (not shown in photos) which doubled as a desk for me as I had to work a bit. Wifi was good; no issues and streaming TV worked well. Lovely wooded area on one side of the house; had bunnies hopping around in the back! I would recommend and definitely would stay again. We enjoyed our stay! We had a few things that we want to address - one of them- there's only two washcloths for two people for like five nights I'm not sure if past guests have stolen them so we just did laundry quite a bit and then my mom has a big preference about having two hand towels, one for your hands one for your face so we had to do laundry for that as well, so she just stated more hand towels, more washcloths, more dish rags, cause we don't use sponges in our family. Another thing that she said was that the house could use a second window unit and another box fan one for each bedroom because it gets pretty warm and the air conditioner doesn't quite reach to the bedrooms. Other than that you know just a good time. Some people might not care about the air or the washcloths or the dish rags we're picky nothing wrong with that.

Girls trip

House was very accommodating for 3 guests, very clean and well stocked. Nice spacious living room, kitchen and bathroom. The bedrooms had only beds but decent size closet space for storing our stuff during our stay. Overall cute little house.

Perfect Stay

Just two of us and our lab - and the Tiny House was perfect. Unfortunately one of us tested positive for Covid the minute we arrived so we even were able to successfully quarantine! Not exactly how we anticipated our stay but the house had everything we needed - bathroom is updated and well appointed. Beds were comfortable and closets spacious and although bedrooms are not Large, they work. Although backyard isn’t fenced, dog still felt like she was. We walked twice or three times a day with our pup and neighborhood at all hours is quiet and safe. Boardman Lake, TART trails, 8th St, Front St and the Bay beaches all nice walks under 1-1/2 miles ea way. Loop bus stop same block. Perfect location. Would 100% stay again!

The property description was spot on and the place is well kept. You can walk into TC and easily to the Boardman trail. I’ll even say easily to the best section of the trail. I’d stay here again.

Great little house!

House was exactly as described! Super convenient location and quiet. Process and communication with host was easy and quick. We stayed with our two kids and enjoyed the beaches, towns, and lakes nearby.

Another great stay at TC Tiny House. The location is perfect because I have family that lives on Boardman Lake. Easy access to the Trail and close to downtown.

Second Stay

We stayed last year and loved the space so we booked it again this year. Susan is great to work with and the location is minutes from downtown. This is one of our favorite places to book.

Great location, wonderful host!

This tiny house was perfect for my sister and me. The location was great, and the host was very responsive when we had an issue (which was resolved within minutes). We had everything we needed for the week, and then some. The only thing that was lacking was maybe fans in the bedrooms. We were there during a really hot spell, and the window unit wasn't quite enough to keep us comfortable at night. I would definitely stay there again!

Winter Getaway

My husband, our dog and I had a wonderful stay! The house was clean and in a great location. After a snowfall the snow plow services quickly cleaned off the driveway. We had a fantastic stay.

December trip to TC

Great place to visit if you havent before. The house is close to downtown and in very close proximity to the boardman lake trails for any walkers or runners. House was clean and comfortable. The checkin process was easy, and host was very nice.

Mother Daughter Birthday Weekend

Beautiful stay. Property was quaint, cozy and as listed. Awesome location. Beds were comfortable and house was very clean. We were able to easily communicate with the property manager. Our dog enjoyed walks in the area and yard. Close to downtown. We will definitely be back.

We had a very comfortable stay. Would stay there again. We were close to the Boardman walking trail.

The property was clean and comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and we felt very safe. We were also close to the Boardman walking trail. Great trail! Also close to The Filling Station, great pizza and beer! The only thing i would suggest is to have a mirror in each bathroom and a small lamb. Thank you for an enjoyable stay. Glenda

Great Family Getaway

This house was perfect for our family vacation in the area. There was a large backyard for the dog and young kids to play in. The property offered a lot of privacy. The area was very quiet and a great neighborhood for family walks. The house had everything we needed for our stay, and we made many meals in the house. It was our first time in the area, and it was a great home base for exploring the county. We all said we would love to return!

Family weekend trip to TC

Overall a very nice place to stay. Walking trails that lead to TC are nearby. Easy drive to all things TC.

My husband, Chuck, & I live in a re-purposed historic building on the Detroit River. Our daughter & her family live in TC. As the grandkids kept coming we have found ourselves spending more & more time in TC exploring fun things for grown ups and little kids to do. Our exploration has been fruitful! We love the beaches, rivers, bike trails, gardens, playgrounds, winter sports and the great food!
We both work in the Detroit area; I as a realtor, he as a mechanic. My husband is a super-genius when it comes to designing, building & fixing things! I love real estate & planning adventures! We have combined forces to make this modest little house a lovely vacation property.

We like the privacy of the semi-wooded lot & proximity to the TART trail network, Boardman Lake/River & some of our favorite places to eat. We are used to city conveniences and value a walkable/bikeable neighborhood. We found both here! Fast wifi & Shipt are two beloved conveniences we don't want to go without!
One of my favorite things to do is to bike over to Oryana on the Boardman Lake Trail with our littles & have lunch in Oryana's "secret garden". Along the way, we might play in Hull Park and watch the ducks & sailors on Boardman Lake - a simple, yet wonderful way to spend the afternoon. Hull Park & Medalie Park at either end of Boardman Lake offer small craft launch, as well.
We like that this home is small & efficient. We are pleased to offer it a clean, comfortable, well-located place to stay at an affordable price. We like to be out & about enjoying nearby amenities, but also value a warm, comfortable place to nest on rainy days. The Wifi service works great, too! We hope your family will be comfortable & happy here!
