Welcome to 817 East Arctic! This 4 bedroom/2 bathroom oceanfront gem can comfortably sleep up to 10 of your friends and family members. Enjoy watching the famous Folly Beach sunrise while drinking coffee on the large screened in porch with a private beach boardwalk and private oceanfront deck. Rinse off the sand after a day at the beach in the outdoor shower. The naturally well-lit living room space features a spectacular ocean view. A well deserved vacation at this single family home is sure to create awe-inspiring memories to last a lifetime.

The 4 bedrooms provide plenty of options for everyone to have their own private space. Bedroom 1 faces the front of the house and has a King bed and flat screen TV. Bedroom 2 comes with a Queen bed and ocean view and also has a flat screen TV. Bedroom 3 has a Queen bed and ocean view . Bedroom 4 features a Queen bed and has ocean views and a flat screen TV. Bonus room 1 is perfect for the kiddos with 2 twin beds and a flat screen TV. Bonus room 2 has a Full bed. Both bathrooms have a shower, and are mainly shared.

The kitchen is fully stocked to prepare the family meals and the large dining room table makes gathering around easy. Serve a delicious dinner after cooking on the gas grill. There is plenty of outdoor seating on both decks for eating or relaxing. After a day in the sun, rinse off with the outdoor shower, and rest in the porch swing while feeling the cool ocean breeze.

Drive or ride your bicycles into the downtown area of Folly Beach, only 1.1 miles away. Here you will find our local restaurants, beach shops, rent a kayak, jet ski, or paddle board. Catch a fishing or dolphin tour, or jet around town in a rented golf cart for the absolute best Folly Beach experience. Want more history and a night out on the town? Just a short, 20-minute drive will have you to historical, downtown Charleston, SC to enjoy all of the charm that the Holy City has to offer!

Home is non-smoking and not pet friendly. Must be 25 years old or older to rent, no exceptions. No events or parties allowed that exceed the maximum occupancy of the home. This beachfront home was perfect for a long weekend! It was just my husband and I and our son, who was there to tour the College of Charleston. He loves to fish - so he had the pier nearby. The home was just perfect - very clean and well appointed. The kitchen had wonderful dishes and plenty of cookware. With great restaurants nearby and a cute little grocery called Bert's we didn't use the kitchen much but if we needed to, we would have been set. The house was very cozy and the view could not be beat. Perfect!

The best place for a fun and relaxing week or weekend away with family/friends. Stunning views and loved having access to the beach right from the house. Downtown Folly Beach was only a few minutes away with great options and fun places to checkout. Can’t wait to come back!

Folly Family Vacation

Our family of 8 came to folly for spring break. This house was absolute perfection. We use Vrbo every year for vacation, and this house is the favorite. We will definitely be back next year. It is clean, comfortable, well stocked, and right on the beach! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Beach stay

We had a wonderful time at this beach house. Perfect location right on the beach and close to lots of restaurants and tourist shopping. Very short drive to downtown charelston too. We would definitely stay at this house again.

Family Time at the Edge of America

Fantastic! The house was perfect. Walking distance to Center Street. No complaints about anything! The bedrooms.. kitchen..living room..screened porch.. walkway to the beach.. outside showers.. the ocean, oh, yes. Did I mention the ocean? Perfect.. We had a problem on the first day (the power went out in part of the house) but we called and it was taken care of right away! Can't ask for faster service than that!We have family in Charleston so had a grand harbor tour and dockside dinner...a day at the Market and shopping downtown. Ready to do it again!

We loved Folly!

Best location and set up for a group of 11 adults. We had plenty of room and the house had everything we needed. We loved the outdoor shower and proximity to the beach. It was a perfect stay!

Very nice

We loved this property! Perfect for larger families as it is very spacious. The house is decorated beautifully, very clean, and literally steps away from the beach. I would absolutely stay here again and definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay on the beach.

Amazing place

This place was amazing. The beautiful oceanfront location, close to an amazing beach town, the home felt so comfy. Plenty of dishes and cooking utensils. Two fridges which was awesome for a big family. Plenty of parking. Property management was on top of things. The grill - only one burner was working they had a new grill to us within an hour. Everything was clean. Lots of beds and room. If you are thinking about this place - just do it!! The back patio is great and where we spent most of our time. Water in the shower was always hot even with lots of people taking showers. We will be back and I fell on love with this area and this house.

Beach getaway

The house on Folly Beach was perfect for our little island getaway. The property was ideally located. It was very clean and tidy. The kitchen was well stocked and updated. Can’t wait to come back again soon.

Great vacation

Enjoyed our stay. Great kitchen living room area. 2 wings of 3 bedrooms on each side of house. 6 bedrooms total with 2 bathrooms. Worked great for our family of 5. Beachfront with private walk. Loved the place. Will consider again in the future.

Great place to stay

The house was great. Well stocked, the only problem we had, the tv in room with two single beds didn't work and the tv in the room with king bed had no power plug. Other than that, it was perfect.

Family Time

Great family vacation! The whole rental process was very easy. The rental company responded quickly to any correspondence. The beds were very comfortable and the home was clean. Had everything we needed except potholders. Luckily, I had brought some from home! The rental company did offer to bring some, but that wasn't necessary! Thanks for a great time in Folly Beach!

Great, but needs more

Overall the stay at the Folly Beach house was lovely. The house itself is well decorated, fits a large number of people and the highlight, of course, is that it has direct access to the beach. We enjoyed the nice long table that fit many people to eat at, and the deck furniture outside. However, I would say there are some things that need to be considered that will impact your stay somewhat negatively if deciding to stay here. First, the check-in and check-out times are a bit extreme. I understand cleaning needs to be done, but 10 am is very early and 3 pm is pretty late to check in for the day. Secondly, the house is stocked with little to nothing for guests during their stay. The house holds up to 12 people, yet there was 1 tiny circular bar of soap for all people to wash their hands with, and a miniature sized body watch/lotion, etc. There were about a maximum of 3 trash bags in the whole house and 1 roll of toilet paper...additionally, they do have a lovely washing machine and dryer, however there was very little detergent to wash clothing + dishes, and we needed to bring our own dish pods from home, otherwise the dishes wouldn't have been able to be washed. More than likely, people will be traveling a distance to stay at the house and won't have room to pack toilet paper, hand soap, dish detergent, etc. Lastly, that I believe would be standard and be provided at the house and were not, are beach towels. Overall, its a lovely place to stay, just needs a bit more.
