Slopeside Ski-In/Out, Steps to lift,Best Location!

Conveniently located in Village Center which is the same building as the ski rentals, ski school & pizza place. This 2 bdrm 2 bthrm unit is on the 3rd floor which is street level so no walking upstairs or waiting around for an elevator. You can ski right up to the building, pop off your skis, walk into the front door of the building, put your skis in the self locking locker specific to unit 303, walk down the hall and you are home! Relax in the evening watching a 70in Samsung smart TV with Dish cable while you warm up in front of the wood burning fireplace. You can grill on the balcony overlooking Twilight chairlift or walk downstairs and pick up a pizza without even leaving the building. Soak in the rooftop jacuzzi overlooking the resort or go next door and use the year round heated pool with water slide or 3 different hotubs. Each bdrm has a king bed and tv with Dish cable. The living room has a huge couch w/ 2 recliners and chaise. Access to gym & tennis courts comes w/ rental.

We enjoyed our stay overall and the space itself was comfortable and as described. The layout worked well for our group, the home was clean, and it had what we needed for a short stay.However, there were several maintenance concerns we ran into. The TV in the junior master bedroom didn’t work, and the dishwasher wasn’t secured properly—it would fall forward when opened, which made it difficult and a bit concerning to use. The ski locker was also jammed and the combination code didn’t work. We called the Purgatory Lodge front desk for help, but maintenance never came by during our stay.None of these issues ruined the trip, but they did make the stay less smooth and convenient than expected. If these items were fixed, this would be a much better rental experience. The property has a lot of potential, but it needs some attention to maintenance.

Amazing Location

This was a great place for our family. It is one flight of stairs away from the ski rental shop and is steps away from the lift. It has a great view of the mountain as well. Everything we needed was provided and the check in/check out process was super easy.

Perfect location, great view and plenty of room.

It was cozy and cute. We had visitors and there was plenty of room for all. Even the bathrooms were great with a terrific shower and nice whirlpool tub. The kitchen had all stuff we needed to cook. Best of all it was located centrally - it was perfect.

This was a great Condo. The beds and amenities were amazing. We loved watching the kids from the patio. We used the BBQ on the patio every day. The access to restaurants was very convenient.

It is a lovely open layout condo with beautiful views of the mountain. You get the best view of all the ongoing activities from the balcony. The condo was very well stocked, nothing was missing for us to prep and cook our food. Our host Jill was very nice and easy to communicate with. We really enjoyed our stay.

Restful location for adult relaxation

I rented this wonderfully appointed and tastefully decorated two bedroom unit for five days for a family reunion. I shared it with my sister and brother in law. We really appreciated the two large beds in private rooms on opposite sides of a comfortable living and dining area. We could visit or retreat as appropriate. Unlike most other units in the area the were no bunk beds, trundle beds, or open loft rooms. We preferred it this way as we are seniors and weren’t trying to pack in a large family. Other family members shared other units. The unit was very clean, completely equipped, and decorated in a quality casual style that contributed to our relaxation. We made good use of the in-unit laundry facilities as we had already been on the road several days when we arrived and had several more days traveling planned. Parking was in a nearby covered structure. I highly recommend this unit for adults traveling without children.

The condo is perfect for a family ski trip and the location is amazing. It is spacious, clean, comfortable, and has all the necessary amenities. The view of the ski lifts and resort is remarkable, and the ski in/out location is wonderful! Our family greatly enjoyed the experience and, if available, will book this property during our next Purgatory visit.

Perfect location!

We had a great time staying here for a short weekend ski trip. The location of the property could not have been more convenient! It was very spacious for our family of 5. One of the kids slept on the pullout sofa and had no complaints. The blackout curtains also made napping a breeze and blocked all light from mountainside groomers.

This 2 bedroom condo was very spacious and cozy. Has all the amenities and services a parent with kids could ask for, plus direct access to ski hill. Great value and location.

We were pleased with the property- location, parking, decoration, cleanliness, accessibility, quite at night, box fans were a must without A/C in August, fully stocked kitchen appliances for preparing our own meals (the local restaurants food was not worth the price or taste). Great Location for summer fun.

The balcony helps you keep an eye on lift lines and you can see sections of the mountain bike runs. I suggest making sure the lifts are running in the summer because that's when they do maintenance.

Excellent location for summer fun on our family vacation.

Great place for what we needed. Our family had 2 grandparents over 65, one at 38 yr old parent and the children at 15 and 8. The unit was on the same floor as the parking and easy in and out. The kids enjoyed the summer activities, roller coaster, sled run, gold panning and access to the lake. The pool/jacuzzi and the rooftop jacuzzi had easy access. The pizza and ice cream place were just below us, a quick elevator ride that our grandchildren could handle. Central location to Silverton/Ouray, Durango and Bayfield, all places we visited on this trip. The unit had everything we needed and was well represented on VRBO. Highly recommend this property.

Very Quiet during off season

The condo was nice and roomy. It fit our needs just like we expected. There was very little activity outside around the resort so it was very quiet. We enjoyed our stay.

This is a place me and boys go to relax and have fun skiing, snow boarding & biking. We can not always be there due to sports and busy schedules. When we are not there, I rent it out to help pay the bills.

Best slopeside location w/ views of skiers from every room in the unit and a hotub in the same building. This is hard to find at a ski resort. True ski in ski out or bike in bike out condo.
