Welcome to 2 Saulsbury St, #1 in Colonial Seas — your oceanfront retreat in the heart of Dewey Beach! This pet-friendly, two-level townhouse is perfectly positioned just steps from the sand and all the energy of downtown Dewey. Wake up to the sound of waves and sip your coffee on the open-air deck with unobstructed ocean views. The main level features an open-concept living space with a full bath, sleep sofa, and access to a breezy screened-in porch—ideal for laid-back mornings or cocktails after a beach day. Upstairs, you'll find two comfortable bedrooms, a second full bath, and a second deck with panoramic views of the Atlantic. Both bedrooms offer ocean views for a true coastal escape.
Located directly on the beach in the highly desirable Saulsbury Street corridor, you're just a short stroll to Dewey's vibrant restaurants, bars, and shops. Walk everywhere or hop on the Jolly Trolley for easy access to Rehoboth Beach and its famous boardwalk. Enjoy outdoor showers, gas grill, washer/dryer, and assigned parking for two cars.
Sleeps six. Weekly Saturday-to-Saturday rentals during the summer. Linens not provided, but rental packages are available. One dog allowed with pet fee (breed restrictions apply).

Spring break

The location was amazing but the stay wasn’t exactly the best. We order the linen package and it never showed up until we called the next day. The toilets were very hard to flush and the washing machine didn’t work but wasn’t told this until we called about the linens. There were other guests toward the end of our stay who were very rude and so loud and the walls are thin and we heard everything. I think for this to be a rental it def needs to have everything properly working before guests arrive.

My 70th Birthday Celebration

Decided at the last minute to celebrate the big 70, at the beach. Found this lovely property right on the beach! Very clean, beds most comfortable, bathroom showers were great as well, a short walk to the bars to watch football-(Go Irish, Go Steelers) and the restaurants too! Saw a beautiful full moon over the ocean and beautiful sunrises every morning. Also, nothing like hearing the ocean waves at night, what a great tonic to put you to sleep! We are planning on rebooking this property for another fun weekend at one of our favorite beach places!! The weather was perfect and thanks for making my 70th the best! Great location!

This cosy beach house is literally as close to the beach as you can get - AND Dewey allows dogs before 9:30 a.m. and after 5:30 p.m. We ended up leaving dish detergent, hand soap, TP, paper towels, dishwashing detergent for the next guest. So come with those items if you don't want to buy them there.

Ocean Views & Breezes

Spacious two bedroom with two full bathrooms, great for a family of 2-5, adults or with kids. (We’ve been to some jammed up two bedrooms, this property is not that at all!) Best part… upper and lower outdoor porches facing the beach for dining and relaxing, beautiful views of the beach with ocean breezes. Comfortable furniture in good condition (as in, not beat up beach rental-ey). Dog friendly and clean! LOVED this property and our stay.

Beachfront escape

We spent a family spring break and had a wonderful time. The views from the upstairs balcony are gorgeous- we particularly enjoyed taking in the 'dolphin parade' almost everyday! House is steps out to the beach which is great with kids. Also very convenient to shops and restaurants (and bars- for better or worse).

Fantastic beach front location - what a gem!

Fantastic oceanfront beach location in Dewey - right next to the beach walkway for two adults and one pup. Well stocked, thoughtfully placed furnishings, and cheerfully decorated. The couches were super comfy and durable. You can see the ocean and horizon from the upper deck and nap on the screened in porch to a lullaby of the wave sounds. The landscaping nicely maintained (spring refresh when we were there). The place was Lab(rador) tested, Lab approved! Last minute booking for a few days to destress and it worked. Very enjoyable stay, highly recommend, and will book again!

Great getaway!

We loved being there off season. Hearing the sounds of the Ocean was wonderful. We loved the house and the location. It was a very short drive to Rehoboth boardwalk. Our dog was extremely happy there too.

Great Dewey Beach Digs!

Great beachfront location with restaurants, brewery, etc. in easy walking distance. The view of the ocean from both bedrooms and the upstairs deck between them was outstanding.

Great Location

We are aware that this is a pet friendly condo but we were disappointed that the floors were not cleaned prior to our arrival. The upstairs. bathroom had mold around the tub, the fixtures and the shower curtain should have been replaced. We are a group of women that enjoy getting together once or twice a year. Even though there were a few issues we dealt with them. It's a nice condo and we all had a great time!

Lovely Place, Great Location

Very positive. Right on a beautiful dune. Steps from walkway to the beach, very clean, lovely view, nicely appointed as a casual beach house. (My dog would give even better reviews if he could.) Owners were very responsive, but dealing through REMAX was challenging!

Fun beach getaway

Cute house right on the beach and just down the street from the Starboard. Beach access couldn't be any better! The house was clean and wifi worked well. The walls were a little thin and occasionally we'd hear our next-door neighbors, but this wasn't an issue and things got quiet at night. Keyless door is always a plus!

Winter Solitude

This was an enormous disappointment......online it looks like a dream cottage but when we arrived,

Disorderly, assorted furniture strewn all over deck and walkway, some broken, interiors quite dirty, rugs nasty with aroma....all bedding had to be replaced with new ones we purchased at Bed, Bath and Beyond. We scrubbed floor with pines due to odor.....the only nice thing was staying outside on the upper deck.......screened in porch loaded with bugs and torn screens.....we put new blankets on all the sofas just to be able to sit without feeling dirty. I rented my own home in Rehoboth for 10 years and this was a shock and disappointment.
