The Space:

It’s just another day in paradise at SunDestin Beach Resort, located in the heart of Destin, FL. Property amenities will check every box on your resort checklist, starting with the outdoor hot tub, sauna, and steam room. If that doesn’t help you unwind, breathe in the salt air gulf-side while lounging in a beach chair (rentals available). Don’t feel like going out? Peruse the lobby gift shop for trinkets and mementos, then relax with complimentary DVD rentals. Should the urge strike you, enjoy a workout in the fitness facility then grab a cool drink at the outdoor tiki bar. SunDestin Beach Resort houses more than 3,000 s.f. of meeting space, perfectly suitable for your large receptions and intimate gatherings. Our warm and friendly Scenic Stays team will be available throughout your stay via our 24-hour on-site front desk should any questions arise.



SunDestin Unit 1603 is a cheerfully refreshing one bedroom, one and one half bathroom condo accommodating up to six. The cool color palette combines with elegant decor creating an invigorating and uplifting energy in this open-concept space. You’ll find everything you need in the well-stocked kitchen with a raised bar, ideal for serving hors devours and tropical drinks. Cozy up in the living room with flat-screen television or out on the balcony enjoying the seemingly endless views. Slumber in the master suite with king-sized bed and flat screen television, on the queen sleeper sofa in the living room, or on twin bunks nestled in the hall.



If you’re a foodie, be sure to check out Boshamps Seafood & Oyster House or Brotula’s, both on the Destin harbor and just five minutes from the property!



Guests under 22 must be accompanied by an adult chaperone throughout their  stay. Pets are unfortunately not welcome and are subject to immediate departure if found to be inhabiting a property. Smoking is strictly forbidden.



Please note that La Dolce Vita is the beach service vendor for this property. While beach service rentals are not included in your stay, you can easily contact them directly for all your rental needs.

Enjoyed our stay. Beautiful view. The AC unit is loud especially since it’s in the master bedroom. Can’t wait to see the finished product from the renovation that’s taking place. Wish the unit had a washer and dryer, however there is one in the common area of the floor just inconvenient. But we will most likely stay here again.

Everything you need in one place

This condo is in the best location with every amenity you could ask for. The property has a reasonably priced market, a tiki hut for beach cocktails, and a tasty restaurant for dine-in, take out, or delivery. You even get a free movie rental when you check in. I highly recommend this property for anyone coming to Destin!

Such a great stay. Really enjoyed everything. Prices at the restaurant were a little high so we left and ate elsewhere. Parking in the evenings is a little rough too. Other than that, it was amazing. We’re currently looking for something in October for the Rodeo.

Wonderful view!!

I loved everything about the place. I loved how it has its private spot at the beach so it's not crowded. It's nice and quiet at bedtime, so no disruption when you are sleeping. Love that the beach is walking distance. Love live love the place!! Definitely going back SOON!!

Beautiful Condo!

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. Everything was updated and had everything we needed. The condo itself was beautiful. The parking at Sundestin is terrible. They have an overflow lot about 3 blocks away which we had to park at 4 out of the 5 nights we were there. Single mom with 2 small kids crossing Destin's busiest road in the dark night isn't ideal. I wish they had a shuttle or something. But that's not the condo's fault. We would definitely choose this condo again!

This condo is beautiful! Very pretty decorated and has everything you would need. Our only complaint (which is not the condo owner's fault) is the parking situation is terrible. There aren't enough spaces so you have to park in 'overflow parking' which is 3 blocks down in a sketchy dark lot and then cross Destin's busiest road on foot to get back. I wish they allowed one car per condo and all other cars go to overflow but it's first come first serve.

The view was beautiful, and the space is adequate but pretty small. Light fixture out of the ceiling in the bathroom, and living room furniture needs deep cleaned or replaced. Looked very used and kind of gross.

Decor is dated and unattractive. Tub is deep with no safety holds. Lighting is good. Flooring is good. View is excellent. Patio furniture is so bad that it is dangerous. It would not take much to make this unit delightful. Management could not be nicer. Unit ready and check in seamless.

Smell, beds and fans

They smell of mold and the beds were very uncomfortable and the ceiling fans did not work because it looks like the place as been subject to high humidity the blades were warped wheir they couldn\'t be use will not be staying in that Condo ever again

Needs a little TLC

Property is in a great location. Lobby, shop and restaurant on property were very convenient. Units are small. 1603 was appointed OK, but DW was quirky. Had to really push and jostle the door to get it to start. Also, Missing a few kitchen items, like tongs, but mostly everything needed was included. Kitchen is super small. You can barely open fridge door all the way without hitting counter on other side. Overall, a good stay. Would definitely spend extra for 2 bedroom if i stayed at this property again.

Location of unit in proximity to the beach is great, but being forced to rent chairs and/or umbrellas per day instead of being able to use our own umbrella was not ideal. That should be noted in the listing. The unit could also use updating - the decor is pretty bad/outdated and the shower and sink in the larger bathroom should be replaced. However it was clean and exactly as advertised, just a bit outdated considering the price.
