Quaint Vintage Trailer Retreat is located in a rural part of Santa Ynez yet walking distance to the old western downtown. Private entrance through a pretty garden with a very large deck and steps down to a beautiful redwood bridge that crosses over a creek. There, nestled amongst trees you will embark upon a secluded fully functional and well-maintained 1971 Vintage Aristocrat Trailer decked out for a comfy and relaxing stay in wine country. Cozy accommodations for 1-2 guests. Complimentary fresh chicken eggs upon availability from our 3 fluffy hens. Keurig Coffee Maker with a selection of complimentary coffees and teas. Ask about featured local wines available at a discount. Solvang Wine Tours Concierge onsite offering discounted wine tour packages customized to suit your taste. Sit outside in your own patio/garden and enjoy a glass of wine under the stars and listen to the sounds of nature (frogs and owls depending on the season). WiFi may be weak at times. Best to connect on the deck. Tight space shower. Unconventional composting toilet.
A 12% SB County tax will be collected from owner upon day of check in (Venmo/Paypal/Zelle/Cash).
You will be 3.5 miles from Los Olivos, and 2 miles from Solvang. Our local El Rancho Market is just a little over a mile away, where you'll find specialty and gourmet items.
The Homeowner is not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities regardless of the nature. The Homeowner is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise and agree to abide by the House Rules.

Honest Description Of A Vintage Trailer

We had a nice stay. The place was a little hard to find in the dark, but once we figured it out, it was easy. The space was very clean, and accurately described. It's a funky little trailer, tight to get around, but it was solid, quiet, didn't rock. I was a nice stay if this is the adventure that you're looking for.

Vintage Trailer

We had a good time--our first time staying in a trailer. It is very compact and takes getting used to. The bed is like a cocoon!! It was cold and rainy so we didn't get to use the seating outside, but we were warm and snug inside. The only thing that needs to be in the information--it may have been and I missed it--is that it is next to a field that is used in the mornings on the weekend. If you want to sleep in, that may be a problem unless you are a very sound sleeper.The host, Nikki, was very helpful and readily available to address any concerns and answer questions.

Cozy Little Spot!

This is a great little option for the Santa Ynez Valley, where everything else tends to be mondo expensive! Bed was plenty comfy for two average sized people, and we stayed perfectly warm with the space heater provided. Loved hanging with the chickens in their coop just next to the trailer. Composting toilet took a bit of getting used to, but after a couple uses we were pros. Shower is very small and may be tough for taller folks. But overall, heartily recommend if you are a cozy fiend.

Why do I need a title??

Partial power outage including the refrigerator and power outlets. Nikki worked very hard to troubleshoot and solve the problem. Aside from that the trailer was comfortable and a unique and pleasurable experience.

Wine Birds frogs and more wine!!

I rented the RV for the weekend as a close getaway for my other halves birthday! It was a beautiful location Nikki had a bottle of wine ready for us when we arrived which I had asked her about and she pulled through beautifully which is super cool. Her chickens are silk chickens super groovy and the eggs she has in a bowl for you are delicious!! We went to Solvang the ostrich farm botanical gardens and the lake to ride bikes. At night the frogs and crickets sound beautiful and the bed is like a cloud!! Tp say the least we will return! Thank you Nikki!!!🍷

Relax outdoors

Nice setting, patio furniture to lounge in. Exotic chickens as neighbors. (Fresh eggs!) Clean, tidy, bed is a nest, comfortable but small. Compostable toilet. Plenty of water for the shower. Reminded me of camper vacations in the 70’s, and better than tent camping.

Nostalgia time in Santa Ynez

Truly enjoyed the visit here with the vintage trailer. Reliving the past as we listened to the Dodger game on the radio (iPhone). Nice location to visit Solvang, SantaYnez,Los Olivia! Fun time.

Great Get Away Place

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in the vintage trailer. Bed was very comfortable, enough space for us and great location. Shaded, quiet and relaxing, also located near Solvang, Los Olivos and Buellton. We will be back.

Birthday weekend!

My girlfriend and I stayed at Nikki's place for my birthday weekend. It was amazing! Such a nice little escape from work life. Nikki was an amazing host and so attentive. Solvang is SO close but just far enough away to be able to enjoy the quiet.

Lovely place to stay!

This was a really nice place to stay, super comfortable, with great outdoor space as well. It's quiet, which is exactly what I was looking for, but still easy walking distance into Santa Ynez.

Peaceful Weekend

We had a great time unplugging, unwinding and enjoying a great weekend at Nikki’s peaceful property. Great location easy walking distance to the town center of Santa Ynez (and SY Kitchen). Very short drives to Lincourt Vineyards and Los Olivos town center. We loved hearing the chickens and the nature sounds. Nikki was very welcoming and helpful with all of our questions.

Cozy vintage trailer!

This place is adorable! Everything from the chicken eggs for breakfast and the fairy lights in the evening are great! The bedding was super comfy and I’m a very picky sleeper. The space was quiet and warm. The owner was helpful, accommodating, and lovely. She can help you find great vineyards to visit and was available when we needed her.
