Amenities include a 9 hole pitch & putt par 3 golf course, tennis courts, shuffle board, five swimming pools, three hot tubs, beach pavilion, and 1100 feet of private beautiful white sandy beach just a short walk from the condo.

Enjoy the 1,100 feet of private, powder-white sandy beach with crystal-clear, emerald waters. Our condo is newly furnished with a king-size bed in the master bedroom, double and twin beds in the guest room, granite counter tops in kitchen and both bathrooms, and new kitchen cabinets. We are located on the Destin Harbor within Sandpiper Cove which offers a beautiful view of boats and evening sunsets from the rear balcony. Lower deck is 3 feet from the water and you can fish from this deck. Enjoy a three minute walk to the beach, or you can drive to within feet of the surf and sand, which offers a beach side grill, pavilion, beach chairs and umbrella.

Sandpiper Cove Resort consists of 43 beautifully landscaped acres in the heart of Destin, which includes a free, nine-hole, par three golf course, boat launching ramp and docking for boats and jet-skis, five pools, three hot tubes, six tennis courts, and also features the famous Louisiana Lagniappe, a four-star restaurant. Amenities also include a complete kitchen, full size washer/dryer, linens, and gas grill on the balcony. Sandpiper Cove is a gated community and is located near many excellent restaurants, shopping malls, water and amusement parks, and the Destin Harbor which offers pontoon boat and jet-ski rentals, dolphin and sunset cruises, deep-sea fishing trips, scuba and snorkeling trips, as well as many other family activities.

Great stay

We’ve stayed at multiple condos in Sandpiper Cove over 20 years and were happy with this rental. The property was updated, well equipped and well kept. Very easy beach access with small children.

Great spot!

Loved how close the condo is to the beach, especially with 3 young kids, that is a must! Really appreciated the chairs and umbrella being setup every day. Deck was great for cocktails and convos at night. Would stay again!

Perfect location

The perfect beach house for our family of 5. Just a short walk out the back door to the beach. Had a friendly neighborhood feel. Our kids would play outside with kids staying in nearby condos in the evenings. Beautiful beach!

End of summer getaway

Sandpiper cove never disappoints! The beach was beautiful as ever, great beach service and the property is well managed as always. I’ve been visiting here since the 80’s and it’s still beautiful as ever!

Awesome Vacation!

Sandpiper Cove was excellent! The only problem was the accuracy of the description was not entirely true. Where we stayed was a partial view of the gulf. Being from Indiana surrounded by cornfields, seeing the Gulf when looking from the place I’m staying is a must.

Perfect!

We stayed in this rental for a softball tournament. A couple of other families stayed in the complex as well and I have to say our was the nicest! It was absolutely perfect! Steps off the back deck to the beach made it the best place to stay. Updated condo was very nice inside and comfortable. The only complaint I’d I had to put one is there were no trash bags so make sure you bring your own. Other than that you will not be disappointed renting here!!

Great location and great unit

The proximity to the beach, surrounding activities, and stores and restaurants was perfect! The complimentary beach chairs/umbrella was so appreciated. The unit itself was very well maintained and very clean. We were not familiar with the location since it was out first time to Destin and we were continually commenting on how great this little place was! Thank you for sharing your condo!

So close to the ocean

The review was spot on with the apartment we stayed in. about 40 yards to the ocean with a huge back porch facing the ocean. Easy access to the building and very quiet. This is our 2nd time in this area with the apartments and they are just wonderful. Would have liked to stay for 2 weeks next time but its pretty expensive!

Destin Vacation

Need to know

The condo itself was very nice. we own a condo down the road, but due to our family size growing we have to rent a separate condo as well. it was updated, air worked great, and had a beautiful back porch. unfortunately it being a downstairs unit was not in our favor. most nights we were kept awake from the until above us. it definitely put a bummer on the week. I do think that anyone renting out bottom units should for warn renters on the noise possibility.

Great Location, but lots of ants

This condo is right on the beach, you just walk out the back door and go to the beach! That part was amazing and felt so authentic to be that close. From our particular unit you can only see a small sliver of the ocean from the patio because the sand dunes block it. The unit itself was nicely furnished and decorated, with new appliances. Our only issue were ants. The place is overrun with ants, everywhere. We tried to manage them as best we can, and there was a can of Raid provided. I can understand ants getting in the kitchen due to some people not cleaning up crumbs, etc., but these were everywhere. In the cabinets, on the walls, in the bedrooms, tons of dead ants caught in cobwebs up by the ceiling, and the worst was when I woke up the last day to an ant crawling on my face. Our daughters also said there were ants in their bed as well. It was a small annoyance and I hope the property owners can get them under control. Other people in other units mentioned ant problems as well, so it's not just this unit. That was our main issue. Also, for the price we paid (almost $4k) there was no hand soap, liquid dish soap, dish sponge, toiletries, trash bags, or other basics provided. They left one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, an almost empty paper towel roll, 2 dishwasher pods, and bath towels under the sinks, and that was it, besides the can of Raid (which was probably left by another renter). All other condos we have rented while on vacations have always provided this stuff. We had to do a full grocery shopping trip for all of the basic household stuff - not something you really want to do when on vacation. We also had to buy throw rugs for the front and back doors because they didn't even have anything to wipe your feet on to help keep sand out of the house. Usually when we buy extra things to fill in the gaps we just leave whatever is leftover for the next renter, but this time we had to buy so much stuff there was no way we were going to leave it all because we spent too much on it. We just had to figure out a way to pack all the extra stuff for the trip home. Other than that, it was overall a very nice unit and nice beach front location. We would stay here again if the ants can be removed, and knowing ahead of time that the unit has absolutely no extra supplies, we would just bring stuff with us instead of having to shop for it on vacation.
