Nuestra de tres dormitorios / dos baños casa de playa se encuentra en Moody Beach, a tres millas de playa entre la playa de Ogunquit y Wells Beach en el sur de Maine. Es sólo ocho millas al sur de Kennebunkport.
Usted puede caminar a la derecha de la puerta y en la fina arena blanca de la playa privada. Un porche delantero y cubiertas superiores (con sillas) dan a la playa y el océano Atlántico desde Kennebunk Beach, al norte y Boon Island Light House, al este de la cabeza calva del acantilado al sur. A wonderful experience with friends. We were able to enjoy dining at home with the well equipped kitchen… The view and the ability to walk the beach at any moment is incredibly amazing! If the wind is coming off the water head up to the deck and face the beautiful marsh for late afternoon and sunset. A very comfortable place and a great experience!

Maine’s Best Beach

Beautiful views and a completely stocked house on Moody Beach. New appliances, cookware, flatware, etc. We only need bring clothes and food.

Best vacation spot ever

In 44 years of my husband and I vacationing this has been the most peaceful and beautiful place we have ever stayed. The ocean is the best medicine.

We enjoyed our stay on Moody Beach . A very comfortable and warm home atmosphere. And the beach was at our doorstep. Decks were enjoyed for appetizers and cocktails with a picturesque view of the salt water marsh at sunset. A very lovely spot! A well equipped but small kitchen…we all thoroughly enjoyed our time at Moody Beach!

We loved every minute of our stay at Bev’s beautiful beachfront home. The house was immaculate and had everything we needed. Bev was a wonderful host and made sure we were happy and had everything to make our stay perfect!!

Beach house Wells Maine

Bev was a great host! Responded very quickly, and was very accommodating to our requests. Check-in instructions were detailed and helpful. The beach house was extremely very clean and well stocked. Location is amazing! Overall a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the beach in beautiful Wells ME. We would stay here again easily! 5 stars! Sasha & family

Great location!!

This property was a perfect location for our first visit to Maine. Kennebunkport around 20 minutes away, Ogunquit 10 minutes, Portland 35ish. Plus the best location on Moody beach. Around a mile and a half to the right and left walking out the door to the beach so nice walks on a nice firm beach. The house has wonderful decks on the beach side to see sunrises and on the back to see sunsets!! And then you can go to the top deck to take in the whole circumference of the house!! Very clean and stocked with soaps and paper products. The only issue was the main bathroom needs to be updated, especially the sink due to rust and no shower. You have to go to the basement for a shower but it was a nice shower and the basement isn’t a scary basement!! Thanks Bev for a great vacation!! If we ever come back to Moidy Beach we will definitely rent there again!!!

Magical house on the beach - couldn't be more perfect!

I can't even begin to describe how wonderful this beach house is, though let's start with the master bedroom, with five beautiful windows overlooking the ocean, it gives you an expansive view of the beach and breaking waves. You hear the ocean all night and wake up in the morning to sun and waves. The house itself is delightful and cleverly designed, with decks at multiple levels all overlooking the water, and a back deck overlooking the beautiful estuary, where the sun sets every night. It seemed from our walks down Moody Beach that this is one of only a few houses with such amazing rooftop decks and views - we felt very lucky to be staying here! The house is also stocked with everything you could possibly need - towels, sheets, dishes, condiments, games, etc. - and the living and dining room views of the ocean are truly spectacular. Essentially, you feel like you're on the beach when in most of the rooms. The front porch, which is bordered by grass, was one of our favorite places to hang out during the day: you feel like you're set up for the day right there, on an exclusive part of the beach. It's an incredible experience. Also, thoughtfully-placed fresh water buckets allow you to easily clean feet after walking the beach. The host was incredibly communicative, hospitable, and helpful to us before and during our stay, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience! Highly recommend! One other thing: We really appreciated the basement shower and bathroom: the water pressure was glorious; the shower gets as hot as you want it to; and the location in the basement allows for easy showering after coming in from the water. We also appreciated the privacy of having one of the bathrooms/shower removed from the main parts of the house, especially since we were staying with our family of six. There's also the wonderful added convenience of a washer/dryer in the basement as well.

Trip to Remember

The property was absolutely perfect for us! Clean, spacious, comfortable, and literally right on the beach. We couldn't have asked for a better experience as first time VRBO users. Bev was a great owner who made sure everything was perfect upon our arrival and was available to us any time we had a question. Already missing those great views and hoping to have the chance to returning.

Great house with amazing view!

Very beautiful house! Amazing view of the ocean from the main room. Living room, dinning room & kitchen all open, with windows all around, facing the beach. Very cosy et comfortable. The location of the house is really amazing! The decks are incredible! There is one, facing the ocean, when you exit from the main room, with long chairs and with a dining table, chairs and umbrella. Two other decks, which are accessible from the upper lever of the house: one is facing the ocean and another (one level up) is facing the marsh. Very convenient to hide from the winds, depending from which direction they come from. The house was very clean and well equipped. Areas that could be improved: the main bathroom: the lavatory faucets are very old (cold and hot water separate) and there is only a bath with no shower (which is located on the second level, beside two bedrooms -the master bedroom is on the 3rd level). So, to take a shower, you have to go on the ground level, beside the laundry room and the garage (cement floors) without a door to separate the laundry room/garage from the shower (only curtains). There is a second toilet beside the shower (no sink). So, it is not as convenient and comfortable as having the shower close to the bedrooms. Other points that could be improved is regarding the beds that are not as firm as they should (might be time to replace the mattresses...). The blinds in the bedrooms, which are white, do not prevent the light from coming in the morning (mostly the ones facing the sun rise, like the master bedroom). Despite these points, I would definitely recommend renting the house, for its location, cosiness & cleanness. No house is perfect (unless you set it up yourself!), but this one is worth renting!

Great retreat

We rented for one week for a family gathering. Very comfortable, very clean and very well equipped. Close to everything. Quiet, just the sound of the sea which was at the bottom of the steps. We will definitely return.

This is the best location on the best beach! It where the ocean comes up in front of the house and the unobstructed view over the river in the rear, seen from our 4 decks.
