Welcome to Trela Sands! This beautifully remodeled 4 suite house is located in South Palmetto Point, Eleuthera Bahamas and includes a whole house backup generator. The property is 14 miles south of Governor’s Harbour Airport (GHB).

Trela Sands is 50 feet from the beach on the Caribbean Sea and has beautiful views. Start your days watching the sunrise to the east, sunsets over Pineapple Cays, and star gazing at night. It is the perfect setup for weddings or reunions. Spend time relaxing on the beach, kayaking, or exploring Eleuthera and all it has to offer.

This listing is for the entire house that can sleep 22. The house has all the amenities of home, but with a view. The large open concept living area has room to enjoy reading, lounging, or watching TV. The dining area has seating for 12 and the fully equipped kitchen has all normal appliances and seating for 7 more at the bar and island. There is a screen porch to enjoy outdoor dining and a large patio to enjoy the beautiful views. The master bedroom has a king size bed and the rest of the beds are queen size. From beach towels to blenders, Trela Sands has it all.

We rented the entire house for a week with a family of 19.House was immaculate and well appointed.Great calm beach, lots of sand dollarsand starfish. Had the occasional shark and ray swim by!Caretaker does a great job.

We loved our week at Trela sands, the house was perfect for our group.

Tatiana and David were very helpful and responded quickly when we needed them. Tony did a great job taking care of the grounds. We recommend this place and and Eluthera to everyone. One of our favorite vacations.

Amazing House and Great Owners

The place is amazing, the pictures do not capture how big and beautiful it really is. We had the whole place, but it would be great in pieces too. It was so nice to be able to walk out to the beach at anytime. The owners and property managers were very helpful with flight recommendations, rental cars, rental boat, and any other question we had. We are already working on planning our next trip back.

MIL 60th Birthday Surprise

Trela Sands was the perfect house and ideal location for our family celebration. The grounds are immaculately well kept and the little ones could comfortably play games in the spongy grass or explore the waters during low tide to find tons of cool creatures and surprises. The screened in porches were the ideal spot to have family meals, play games, and hang out at night. We had everything we needed and the owner and manager will accessible and helpful throughout our stay. We hope to come back again some day!

Amazing private beach

We loved staying at Treslasands. We had a group of 16 (ages 9-83). Everyone had a great time at the property. It was wonderful to have the kayaks and paddleboards (plenty of life jackets and extra snorkeling gear as well). The kitchen was very well stocked (plenty of tupperware and sharp knives), and the layout of the rooms gave everyone plenty of personal space. We really liked the beach right in front of the house, but the location is great to explore the other beaches on the island easily. We enjoyed the karoke bar down the beach as well. We would definitely book again!

50th Wedding Anniversary trip

From the moment we arrived on the property we knew this would be a fabulous vacation! Trela Sands is beautiful and there is so much space for our party of 16. My family was all able to make this trip to celebrate my parents’ 50th Wedding Anniversary. And the beach (our backyard) was gorgeous! Ricky, the house manager, was at the home before we arrived. And he checked on us everyday. And Mr. Tony kept the beach and grounds around the home pristine! I can’t wait to visit Eleuthera and stay at Trela Sands again. It truly is heaven on Earth!

Absolutely PERFECT!

We had a group of 15 (4 adults and 11 high school/college kids) and the house was absolutely perfect! There was plenty of space for everyone and we loved the layout- it provided lots of places to retreat and plenty of spaces to gather as a group. The house was beautiful and well stocked with everything we needed. We ate all but one meal at the house and the kitchen was fantastic. We were especially impressed with the equipment provided (LOTS of snorkels, paddleboards and kayaks, plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas, and even beach towels!) Thank you for a wonderful place to make memories with our children and their friends... it was perfect!

Great Week in Trelasands

This was a perfect property for our family. We loved the beach and the kayaks. We used them everyday. All of the recommendations were spot on. We enjoyed Uncle Rob's adventure tour and went to several beaches in the area. We went to Tarpum bay for fresh fish. The home was so nice you didnt need to leave it. The bugs were our biggest complaint. Even spray would not stop them from biting. The home was amazing. Every need was met. Thanks for letting us stay in your beautiful home.

Wonderful Week!!!!

Absolutely beautiful house in a gorgeous location. We had 6 adults (grandparents and children and spouses) and 4 grandchildren (ages 1-5). There was ample space for all of us and room for grandparents to get a break from grandkids. Tracy provided everything needed and then some including sand toys for kids and adults! We are going back for sure. The property manager went above and beyond helping us and keeping things great at the house. You need a car to go to the local markets but you really don’t need to go to other beaches because the beach at Trela Sands is perfect. We explored others and were always happy to get “home”. The house and property exceeded our expectations.

Paradise in Eleuthera

Trela Sands was amazing. We loved every second that we spent here. We will definitely return. The pictures of Trela Sands do not do it justice. The place is stunningly beautiful and immaculately kept. Tony rakes the sand almost everyday and clears away any seaweed. He cleans the decks and walkways and keeps the grounds sparkly. We love you Tony! David & Tatjana (property managers) were there when we checked in and so helpful during our stay. We took our family to Trela Sands - there were 20 of us, plus a couple of infant babies. We booked the entire house. There was sooooo much room. We never felt like we were cramped or on top of each other. The furnishings were top notch and in great condition. The bathrooms had piles of towels. There are 2 big kitchens. The main upstairs kitchen is where we prepared all of our meals for our huge crew. It had more then enough dishes and silverware for all of us. Plenty of pots and pans and bowls and cooking utensils. It had everything - even muffin tins! The best attribute of renting this property - the owners - Randy and Tracy. Their communication was fantastic. They shared all of their Eleuthera knowledge with us. They told us what flights were best, where to rent automobiles, where to exchange the water jugs, where to buy fresh fish, great places that we should see while we were there. They have created a small piece of paradise in Eleuthera. There is no reason to look any farther - Book this property today!

We had a lovely family time, despite some of our party being unable to join us. The house was perfect for a big group, the beach, swimming, paddle boards and kayaks well used and some spirited games of bean bag toss played. We would all have liked to stay longer. I’m coming back to Trelasands!

Such a beautiful and wonderful property. Was pleasantly surprised that it was MUCH better than the pictures! The owners and property manager put so much effort in to making sure everything was there that I really could have come with a couple of bathing suits and T-shirts. No need to have brought multiple suitcases! Tracey provided lots of recommendations and made sure our transition was simple by recommending car rentals, grocery stores and local markets. The beach was gorgeous, watching sunsets from amazing chairs on the second story with an island beverage was incredible and a nightly ritual, and they even provided boats, snorkeling equipment, beach chairs and umbrellas, along with everything you need in the house. There are too many things to list, but I loved the thought the owners put in to this property. Little things like foot baths to make sure you don’t track sand in the house and 2 outdoor showers to get the sand and salt off. Like the title of the review, I think the best thing I can say is that our whole group of 10 would come back in an instant. Coming from Canada, I’m hoping that we can take a break from the snow and come back to Trela Sands!

Upscale house/decor steps from beach!

This house and the owners are incredible! Tracy was so helpful and responsive for the 8 months before our stay while we were in the planning process. The house is stunning. Everything feels brand new. It has beautiful high quality furniture with every extra you could even think of. It's the perfect location right on a gorgeous beach. One and 2 people kayaks and SUP's made exploring the Cays off the beach a blast. The house is centrally located on the island so it was easy to explore north and south Eleuthera each day. With the beach chairs and umbrellas set up on the beach, sand toys, snorkel gear, flippers, life vests, coolers, floats all provided, you never have to leave. This is an absolute gem. There is a local manager of the property that is so very helpful and also very responsive. 5 stars for sure!! If this house is available for your dates...don't look any further: book it asap. It won't be available for long.

Amazing Views and house!

The house is amazing. The beach is beautiful, and the location can't be beat! Tracy and Randy were very communicative and helped us find florists and a restaurant that would work for out wedding dinner. She checked in to ask what I needed and helped find someone to marry us. She was very accommodating. I couldn't have asked for a better host before we arrived. We rented the entire house for a week to get married and relax. We had our family with us and the separate suite areas were the way to go. Everyone had their own space to retreat to. Ricardo, the house manager, was always around. He knew things to do and places to go. He was at the house everyday and sometimes would stop by in the evenings. He even seem to know where we were all the time and would show up! We hired a local bartender, caterer and DJ for a white party the night before the wedding on the beach. We were told to turn down the music at 8pm and ultimately to shut it down by 10pm on a Saturday night. We were a bit disappointed about that, but everything else was wonderful. The house is well appointed for cooking with pots and pans. You do have to bring condiments and spices, sugar, and anything else you'll need to cook with but there are plenty of places near by to grab them. Fresh bread at the Island Farm stand is a must. We were planning on renting a boat and doing excursions but honesty, we didn't even leave the beach out front! Don't miss the Friday night Fish Fry. We all went and had a blast! Thanks again for letting us stay at your home. It is beautiful and everyone was truly impressed and had a wonderful time with memories to last a lifetime.

Heaven on Earth

Before we even arrived at Trela Sands, we knew this was going to be the most amazing vacation! Randy and traci‘s passion for making our experience the best it could be began with open lines of communication months before. We so appreciate the time both took to answer questions, give tips, and give recommendations. Once we got there, we were blown away by the sheer beauty of Eleuthera and Trela sands in particular! The view from this home NEVER gets old!! We could spend hours on the deck, in the water, and exploring the surrounding Cays with the four kayaks and two SUPs. You have really thought of everything to make your guests comfortable: grocery service, beach chairs, beach towels, blankets for cozy up at night, a well-stocked kitchen with plenty of utensils, dishes, pots and pans. We felt so comfortable and at home- every single person in our party had a bed to sleep in with the six bedrooms you had to offer. Thank you for making our first trip to Eleuthera so amazing!
