This 2bd/2ba condo offers all the comforts of home while on vacation at the beach. This unit comfortably accommodates 6 guests with 1 king in the master bedroom and 2 queens in the 2nd bedroom.

In early 2023 this unit has got all new lamps and wall décor, new living room & dining room furniture, updated smart TV's in both bedrooms and the living room, new bedspreads for all beds, new drapes throughout, and a new king mattress & box spring.

This 4th floor, ocean view unit, is in a mostly owner occupied high rise condominium building in the Arcadian Dunes section of Myrtle Beach. This spacious condo has a fully equipped kitchen, washer & dryer in unit, TV's in both bedrooms as well as the living room, free Wi-Fi and ocean views from the private balcony accessed from the living room and both bedrooms.

Second honeymoon

We so enjoyed our stay. Great views, perfect location, clean and comfortable. We will definitely be back. Of a score of 1 to 10 we would definitely give it a solid 10.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit was very disappointing. The bathrooms were old and dirty. We would not bathe our grandson in either bathroom. The carpet was dirty and stained. We moved a chair and there was food and dirt under it. The patio carpet was ripped and old and generally dirty. There was a smell that knocked us over every time we opened the door. This unit needs work before I would recommend it to anyone!

Great getaway

I've been to Myrtle/ Arcadian Shores more times than I can count. This was the best trip ever and a big part of it was my stay at Maison Ser Mer! Our unit was very spacious with 2 bathrooms and a large balcony that overlooks the ocean and the pier. We will definitely stay in this unit again ❤️

Much Needed Vacay

We love Maisons, we always stay here. This unit was nice, not as nice as others we have stayed in here, but nice. It does seem owners are attempting to make updates. We would stay in this unit again. The unit was clean and check-in and out was super easy. Overall we had a great stay here.

Property location is amazing. Beach is beautiful. Pool and amenities of the complex is awesome. The condo needs updating desperately!!! The wallpaper in the bathroom is peeling. The guest bathroom’s tub didn’t drain so we were standing in ankle deep water! The patio doors are very difficult to open and almost impossible to open from the outside. The handles are on backwards. The condo units outlets are loose and a majority of them didn’t work. The decks carpet was ripped awful and I had to keep my granddaughter away from the rip. We stayed for three weeks and the condo didn’t have hangers!!! I had to purchase hangers at Walmart. The quest bedrooms mattresses were awful. My pregnant daughter had a backache the whole week she was there. The air conditioner died on the second day and the rental company fixed it immediately. The garbage disposal was leaking all over the kitchen floor and the rental company came immediately and fixed that. The kitchen is not equipped for cooking meals. Had to improvise on cooking meals. The kitchen didn’t have curtains so you couldn’t sit in there and eat during the day!! The sun was so strong it needs curtains desperately!Definitely wouldn’t stay in that unit again without it being updated.

Fun but needs attention

Had a wonderful time and unit is a great location and view: Kitchen is nice: Unit is dated. Sliding balcony doors are very difficult to open some don’t lock. Carpet is old and worn. Bathroom shower door very difficult to open, Closet by entry door and laundry room are difficult to open, Shower tub doesn’t drain well. Several outlets need attention. Curtains could not be easily opened and closed. Curtain rods would solve that pretty easily. For the money charged we expected the until to be in much better condition. I hope the owners spend the money and do updates

Nice quiet retreat

Love the floor plan of these condos, not the usual cubby hole. Food on location was reasonably priced and good quality. Felt safe and relaxed, quiet. But it was the view from the huge balcony that took my breath away!

The unit we were in (408) was well laid out and clean. The furnishings were well last time for replacement. The bed in the primary bedroom was beyond soft and the chairs in the main living space were unusable for fear of them falling apart.

Beach Vacation

Maisons-Su-Mer is a wonderful place to stay. We have stayed at several different units the past few years and have been very satisfied. This particular unit though needs some improvement especially in kitchen supplies. There was no cookie sheet, measuring spoons, dish drainer, colander, etc. For those who like to cook in the unit, it was very lacking. The kitchen itself was newly remodeled and very nice. The balcony had not been cleaned when we arrived. The table was sandy as well as the carpet.

Maison Sur Mer is a great place to spend vacation

The particular unit had older decor (which could use upgrading) with minor issues but overall was a nice place to vacation at.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unfortunately, our stay was cut short as we left one day early. If you stay in this unit, you will be able to hear the noises from the pool area until the pool closes. Also, the unit needs a bit of upkeep, the icemaker made a loud noise at 4 a.m. in the morning. We were unable to use the dryer as it made loud scraping noises. The toilet roll holder was broken in the master bath and was not able to be used.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I’ve stayed at the Maisons many many times. This condo is the greatest! I wouldn’t entertain the idea of staying anywhere else. However, this particular unit was not the greatest. It wasn’t ALL bad though. The unit was clean upon arrival. The kitchen has been updated with new counter tops, cabinets, and appliances. It was really nice but in my opinion needed to be stocked with a few more supplies. If you don’t intend to do much cooking for a large group, you’d be fine. One of the bathrooms had a constant foul oder which I believe was due to a draining issue of the toilet. It seemed to be worse when the washing machine was in use. The dryer was also VERY loud. The carpet on the balcony had a huge hole ripped in it. The living room furniture could really use some updating. The tv in the bedroom was really old and in need of replacement. I usually rent directly from the owner but wasn’t able to with this unit. I had to go through the realty company which means checkin is later and you’ve have to go all the way there to pick up keys, sign paperwork, etc. You also have to return the keys before you leave instead of just leaving them in the unit upon departure. Suggestion: buy lanyards for the key cards because it makes them easier to keep up with. You definitely don’t want to lose them because it will cost you $300 to replace. The checkout time is 10 am. The cleaning crew were there before 9. They didn’t attempt to come in but did drop some of their supplies outside the door. I would prefer NOT to see them at all. There is a really nice view of the pool and beach area. With some TLC and some updating this would be a very nice unit. Without that I probably would not revisit it.

Great location, friendly staff at the facility. Realty company did not provide me with a code to get in until halfway through the second day, but other than that everything was just fine

Excellent location

The best location we have stayed in 6x visiting MB. Builing and grounds well maintained with helpful staff. We arrived a day early and were thrilled to be able to check in to condo and added 2 days to the end of our vacation as well. Initially the condo looked fine but we discoverd that the dishes and utensils had been put away dirty. Beds were poorly made as well as the vacum was full of dust and dirt .I emptied and cleaned it myself

Way over priced for condition

Front desk didn’t have anything on us until I said well we have Keyes and brought out all my paper work . Got up to the condo takes a gift of god to unlock the door get new lock. Gold chair side broke and dirty very dated. The hot water wasn’t on rusted patio chairs and carpet all ripped up. Dryer needs new belt. Need to be King Kong to open sliders. Bugs in bath tub. Bedding older then us and we are retired, Brdt room was kitchen but not very well stocked great location but will never stay in 408 again way to experience for what you get and it was dirty too oh the curtains can’t open don’t rent
